Wazzup Pilipinas!
It's not my first time to dine at Sentro 1771. But this is the first time I've tried more than two dishes at a time. What can I say, it was a feast fit for a king, and I was so cheerful enough that my seat that day was seemingly like a throne and as if I was wearing a crown privileged to be worn by royalty.
I don't really need to spell it out and you've obviously guessed by now that it was nothing short of a delightful dining experience. I wish there were more words to appropriately give meaning to what I experienced that day. My vocabulary is not enough to accurately express what went on in my mind.
Just like any other event, we were treated with a meal since it was during the lunch hours. But this one seems to be a bit more special since the food served were generously world class. I have to say some of it was very familiar but the way they made the taste become so spectacular is beyond any adjectives available in the dictionary.
Sentro 1771 keeps on surprising me with its tasty dishes that more than just comfort food for me. They may be hinting on Filipino dishes but it's like home-cooked elevated to the next level.

From the lemonade that was strikingly flavorful to the many viands that will leave you breathless. Truly captivating is the taste of each dish. Though the presentation was a little bit ordinary, the taste made up for the lack of artistry. True enough, Sentro 1771 made it a top priority to excel in flavor rather than colorful garnishing and decors.
The servings are just right for one person's consumption, though there are some that are ideal for sharing with a group. The taste is not to the highest level as I've tried better dishes from other restaurants but here they serve proudly Filipino delicacies that's above comparable to other Filipino-themed restaurants.
All the dishes I tried during this event was significantly satisfying. You can go down on them even without rice as they are filling enough. But still Filipinos can never live without the staple food of rice. Our meals seems always incomplete if we don't eat rice during the day. Bread or pasta can never be a substitute for us. We will still long for rice before the day ends.

Where do they get the inspiration to come up with culinary greats that will make you very proud that they are available in the country. The Philippines is blessed to be having so many choices for food options coming from many international influences. The list of great restaurants continue to rise in the Philippines that every visitor will find it a delight to visit the country. Maybe the government can take advantage of the fact and use it further to promote campaigns on tourism.
No one can deny that our country has become an ultimate food haven. Food tourism is entirely possible.
