Aside from the statements coming from the Torque management, several celebrities were shown on video endorsing the Torque mobile phablets. Though the only performers present during the press launch was a couple of stand-up comedians who ran some of their comic routines for the entertainment of the attendees that are mostly members of the media.

After a satisfying lunch for everyone, some basic model Torque mobiles phones were also raffled off to a few lucky winners.

The new phablets were also on display at a certain area of the venue.
