Dingdong Dantes Surprises Everyone at the Gala Magazine Awards

Wazzup Pilipinas!

So I thought my article headline will be about the Gala Awards honoring the amazing events and its organizers from the past year, but whoah!!!, everyone was caught by surprise when Dingdong Dantes showed up on stage holding the latest Gala magazine issue which features him on the cover.

The Gala magazine cover shows a stunning Award-winning actor Dingdong Dantes with angel wings all spread out plus snakes at both his arms . Really cool !!! Dingdong Dantes graces the July Health and Fitness issue of Gala magazine fresh from his recently released movie "Dance of the Steel Bars." Dingdong shares with the readers how he finds strengths not only in his physical weaknesses, but also in his overall wellness.
I still need to read the magazine to find out exactly what they are depicting in the cover, but I'm betting the glossy pages of Gala magazine with usually excellent photos and content did justice to Dingdong Dantes' appearance in the magazine.

As one awardee quoted "We'd like to thank Gala Magazine for recognizing our work, our advocacy, our existence.. Congratulations to you guys as well for a very successful event. You should also be awarded for an awesome awards night."

Congratlulations to Backdoor Ventures Arts and Music Festival, to Philippine Fashion Week, to Dutdutan Tattoo Conventionto Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival , to name a few (too many to mention all in just one posting), for winning a spot among the best events of 2012 held at the ‎#2013GalaAwards last Saturday!

It was indeed an awesome night which started with some superb hosting by the sexy, vuloptous and alluring Jinri Park and that baldie guy who hosts a show at a certain TV channel - just kidding - it's Rovilson Fernandez! - he really brightened up the event with his very lively and humor-spiced hosting! Go, go, go Rovilson!

Followed by exceptional performances from the elite G-Force and the dazzling Goddesses of Belly Dance, fabulous song and dance number from RNB prince Jay-R and his female co-singer, and lastly by veteran singer Dulce that really shook the stage with her very powerful voice.

I will be uploading the videos of all the performances on YouTube soon once I get some free time), so watch out for it from the YouTube channel of Pinoy Tekkie.

There was also a mini-exhibit that took place simultaneously outside the venue showcasing Gala’s growth and evolution from its first issue down to its anniversary offering and its artwork interpretation rendered by artist Dick Santos.

The problem with us bloggers is we get to be so busy that we sometimes (nah! most of the time) neglect to read the fine line which says we need to be wearing a formal outfit.  I should have been in my most glamorous outfit that night. But since many of us came from other events earlier that day, we had to settle for something casual and the typical on-the-go jeans to rough it out there. Best possible choice is to wear a shirt with collar. Heh! I believe still look better among the other attendees wearing their best formal outfits because I was carrying a camera - the only way to immortalize the event as part of history is to take a lot of photos and videos too.
