DepEd expresses gratitude for partners' support in Palarong Pambasa 2023

Ahead of the 2023 Palarong Pambansa, the Department of Education (DepEd) conveyed the agency’s appreciation to the partner for their support during the Turnover Ceremony of Sponsorships and Donations held at the Bulwagan ng Karunugan, DepEd Central Office on July 19.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our esteemed partners for their unwavering support in the 2023 Palarong Pambansa. Your contribution has been nothing short of invaluable, playing a vital role in ensuring the success of our student-athletes, technical officials, and all those involved in this prestigious event,” Undersecretary for Operations Revsee A. Escobedo said.

Spearheaded by the External Partnerships Service (EPS), the turnover ceremony was attended by 19 DepEd-Central Office partners, who received plaques of appreciation from the Department for their support.

The partners recognized in the event were AQA Advertising; BDO Network Bank; Citystate Savings Bank; Enchanted Kingdom; Fortune Life Insurance Incorporated; Geneva Office of Human Rights Education (GO HRE); Golden Global Commercial and Trading Services; and House of Branded Lifestyle Inc.

International Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Latter-Day Saints Charities; Marylindbert International, Inc.; MSP Golden Dragon Manufacturing Corporation; NAPSSPHIL; National University Manila; Otsuka-Solar Philippines Inc.; PHILUSA; REX Education; Rise and Build International Foundation; SMS Philippines and Unilever were also commended in the said event.

Assistant Secretary for Operations and Palaro 2023 Secretary General Francis Cesar B. Bringas hopes that the partners will continue supporting the annual scholastic sports meet and other DepEd programs.

"We welcome you to this event, and we are confident that your sponsorships and your donations for this year will be the same or more by 2024, 2025, 2026, and so on. Thank you very much to all of you for answering our call for partnership and convergence with the private sector,” Asec. Bringas said.
