Pixar's Soul Movie makes us reflect on how we live life

Wazzup Pilipinas!

“How are you going to spend your life?”

“I’m not sure. But I do know I’m going to live every minute of it”

I just finished watching Pixar's Soul Movie & it's a lovely one. It has tons of important life lessons & themes for everyone to enjoy. One of the best movies of 2020, if you have a Disney+ account, watch it asap.

We laughed, we cried, we cheered and we were reminded of our "spark"

Thank you Pixar for staring down the great beyond and reminding me why I love movies! Soul is another almost perfect film.

It was such a beautiful film. I love how it captured Nueva York. All the little details like rust on the gate. Also loved how baby souls were captured. So imaginative. Also what you think may be your spark might be something else.

Find your spark. Live every day to the fullest. Find your purpose. But that last part is questionable on how we interpret the structure of a purpose.

Your passion is not your purpose. We all have to remember that important life lesson.

It started off with a bang, with Jamie in the dilemma of trying to choose between following his passion versus the sensible/comfortable route.

And then everything went blue.

Watching the movie was an absolutely beautiful experience and I almost feel like my soul was given a second chance to enjoy live to the fullest as well.

It was a masterful take on life and death, especially given how poorly we handle those topics in our society.

This Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic has even limited how we lived our lives so as soon as it's over, I'm going to pack my bags and travel the world!

The Soul Movie was truly inspirational. It is such a creative way to tell children about the circle of life & that they can be whatever & do whatever they want in life.

How quickly this world and some people in it make us forget the unique us that we're made to be. Let us all reconnect with our spark & let's reawaken not just our soul but also the soul of this country.

Personally, I couldn’t have watched it at a better time. From start to finish it was brilliant and the message is so important. The representation is so top of everything else that matters. Truly, truly so good.

I’m emotional but I can’t stress enough I how moved I am by the movie. Honestly. I felt like I was watching at the perfect time and having a whole existential moment.

I melted watching this movie. Loved every second of it. The representation ..... I felt seen and spoken to.

“I'm just afraid that if I died today my life would have amounted to nothing.”

We would always take for granted our acts and thus consider the little things we do as negligible and unimportant. We rarwly realize that every little thing adds up to a totally huge part in somebody else's life.

I just feel bad that the Soul movie didn’t get a theatrical release..What a wonderful work of art, creativity and beauty.

The whole movie, my sons and I kept saying “Imagine this in IMAX,” “Imagine this with the Dolby Atmos sound system.” I hope they re-release it in theaters once it’s safe.

No matter how most people’s home setups can rival any theater, I’d argue that this movie served its purpose better in an intimate, smaller setting. There is a different magic when watched in a cinema house with a diverse audience. Imagine everyone sighing in awe at certain scenes.

Silver lining is, it’s now more financially accessible for all to see, as this isn’t just a kids movie!
