Russia is ready to supply the Philippines in what could be the world’s first vaccine against #COVID19, its diplomat to Manila said.
In a virtual press briefing, Russian Ambassador to the Philippines Igor Khovaev said proposals to conduct clinical trials and the possible local production of the vaccine have been submitted to local authorities.
I hate to be pessimistic, pero anong kapalit nito? Pinoys as Guinea Pigs? Special favors? bakit puro communist countries ang friends natin?
Akala lang ng madla na libre yan pero isipin ninyo kung ano kapalit niyan. Ang Russia ay hindi NGO o kaya samahang pangkawanggawa, iyan ay kaparis lang intsik na nakaabang ng pagkakataon na sakupin ang bansa.
Bakit parang napakadaling makapasok ng mga vaccine dito sa atin na nanggagaling sa ibang bansa. Samantalang yong Fabunan na sariling atin ay hindi man lang binigyan ng chance.
China and Russia urging Philippines to be their vaccine test sites. Our government welcomes the offer. Our government officials then must show good example and be amongst the first to be vaccinated.
Don’t be too excited about this. Russia has not yet published any scientific data from its first clinical trials. And it hasn’t undergone WHO’s full stage of testing. Health is compromised if we allow ourselves to be guinea pigs.
Philippines, be careful, be very careful. What is the rate of success of this Russian vaccine, alam ba ninyo? And what of the vaccines being created by Filipino scientists? Why no, collaborations (foreign and national)?
It’s just right to be vigilant about these vaccines popping out. I’d like to believe that these countries have the purest intention to alleviate us from this pandemic, but again, we should also be careful if they work or worse, if there are side effects which may cause more harm to the initial recipients of the vaccine.
Thank you, Russia, but have it tested first and wait for FDA’s approval. This could be another “Dengvaxia.” Let’s be extra careful. Better to be safe than sorry.
Russia doesn’t do anything without having something for them or even taking . Russia and China are working together as Communist countries . When was a communist country ever not secretive?
Russians & Chinese have been hacking pharmaceutical companies testing the vaccines that they developed, which is still in Phase III, meaning studies are done to determine the safety and efficacy of the vaccine in a large patient population with the disease
That is the reason why they will supply our country because we Filipinos will be the the Tester on their invention.
Baka mag human trials ang covid-19 vaccines sa ating bansa. I hope our experts mag double check sa covid-19 vaccines. Baka may GMO. Wala pang official covid-19 vaccine from Western countries. They are still busy for human trials. They want to be sure less or no side effect. Stay safe everyone.
Don’t believe this bull. You all might get sick or worse and die these vaccine trying from the US government maker of pharmaceuticals like Chinese kaya sinarado na ang embassy dito sa America.
They should do clinical trials at their own country, then provide the vaccine when the trials are successful. Stop making it complicated.
No please! These two countries are communists - with Godless leaders. We cannot trust them. Just get vaccines from Western countries.
