Chooks-to-Go Returns to Help Stranded OFWs

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Making true to its promise, Chooks-to-Go returned to Pasay to continue to take care of the stranded overseas Filipino workers, Saturday.

Though some of the first 200 OFWs were already sent home to General Santos City, the number of the stranded passengers doubled to 400.

The 400 OFWs were moved to Villamor Elementary School for temporary lodging.

Chooks-to-Go once again sent over packs of warm meals for the day.

“The least we can do is keep them strong and satiated as they continue their difficult journey back to their hometowns. May they find comfort in the simple meals we’ve shared,” said Chooks-to-Go president Ronald Mascariñas.

Mascariñas vowed that he and Chooks-to-Go will continue to do this until all of the country’s modern-day heroes are sent home.

Since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic hit the country, Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. (BAVI) has been supporting frontliners and vulnerable communities severely affected by the lockdowns.

BAVI has donated chicken and poultry products fit for nearly 400,000 meals.

BAVI is the largest rotisserie chicken company and the only poultry integrator in the Philippines that does not put any antibiotics in its chickens. It is also the company behind Uling Roasters and Adobo Connection.
