The Philippines’ Saint Benilde Romançon Dance Company (SBRDC), the resident dance team of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), will represent the country at the upcoming All Generation Championships (AGC) to be held on October 25 to 27, 2019, at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul, South Korea.

The AGC is a gathering that unites urban movers from different age groups across the globe through the growing hip hop scene. It sets the stage for world-class performances of rhythmic talent and skills under their respective groupings, namely, Super Kids, High Teens, Top University, Adult, Over 40, Silver Star, Pay Back and All Style Solo Battle.

AGC Founder Austin Jiseong Heo, who first met the 16-member team during the reputable Hip Hop International, where he partook as an affiliate director representing Korea, specially invited SBRDC to contend under the Adult Category.

SBRDC, currently spearheaded and mentored by one of the most renowned names in the dance community Xernan Alfonso, had competed both in local and international tourneys where the troupe garnered various recognitions.

They were the third runner-up at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship 2014 in Las Vegas, Silver Medalist at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship 2015 in San Diego and First Runner-up at the Hip Hop International Philippines 2016 in Manila.

They have likewise been hailed as the three-peat National Champion of Hip Hop International Philippines 2014, 2015 and 2016 in Manila and have received the three-peat Gold Medal Award for the Philippines in the 2018 Hong Kong Challenge Cup Dance Competition.
