The first cruise ship to arrive at Loboc International Port in Lapuz district on Jan. 26 has 183 crew who are mostly Filipinos.

City Tourism and Development Office (CTDO) and Department of Tourism (DOT) 6 will organize a city tour for the visitors.

“DOT Regional Director Atty. Helen Catalbas and I are planning on how to give a warm welcome to visitors so that they would feel comfortable during their stay here.

They will tell other Japanese about our festival and accommodation. This will result to more visitors and make Iloilo as cruise ship destination,” Divinagracia said.
