Bailey May Launches Self-Titled Debut Album Under Star Records

Wazzup Pilipinas!

We first knew thirteen year old Fil-Brit Bailey May as the "Gwapito from UK" on the recent Pinoy Big Brother 737 edition in which he happily landed 4th place and a promising showbiz career ahead.

Who would have thought Bailey just recently launched his self-titled solo CD album under Star Music to the delight of his "Baileynatics" supporters. According to insider reports, his fans really wanted him to come up with an album right after his PBB stint.

After coming across his YouTube covers online some of which went viral, Inspirational Diva, Ms. Jamie Rivera became interested with Bailey's singing potential and immediately came up with a six-track album, two of which are her original compositions.

She penned, "Can You Be My Girl" and the carrier single out now, "Gusto Kita".

“I'm so blessed to have my own album and to have worked with such great writers and producers. It's also an awesome blessing that my dream has come to be a part of the Star Music Family. God is good,” beamed Bailey.

Bailey who's a Justin Bieber look-alike got a lot of shrieks from the media and bloggers who were treated to a sampling of his "Gusto Kita" rendition with a cute British twang on his Tagalog. His British dad, Matthew May shared that Bailey is currently taking up Tagalog lessons and is excited about it.

Ms. Jamie also added and emphasized that Bailey's singing is a work in progress. "He's at his early teenage years where his voice is also undergoing physical changes."

In the meantime, fans will surely enjoy other songs in the album, "Boom goes My Heart,” the sparkling “Now We’re Together,” the inspiring “Gotta Win,” and Bailey’s version of “Build Me Up, Buttercup.”

"I wanted to provide my supporters with a triple treat," adds Bailey. "I want to sing, dance and act."
And surely we will be seeing more of Bailey this year as he further enhances his talents right before our eyes. Bailey is a very promising young kid on the rise!

"Bailey" the album also includes minus one versions of all the tracks, can now be streamed on Spotify and will soon be available at all record bars nationwide. Digital tracks can also be downloaded via leading record stores all over the country and in online music stores such as iTunes, Mymusicstore.com.ph, Amazon.com, and Starmusic.ph.
