Your Pambansang Blogger ng Pilipinas, Ross Del Rosario, was a special guest at the Youth Power Radio show at Kinse Trenta DZME 1530 AM anchored by Mico Guapo and with segment hosts Noemi Lardizabal-Dado and Jane Uymatiao, who are also among the well-known bloggers of the Philippine blogging community.
Ross was personally invited by The Voicemaster himself, Pocholo Gonzales, the founder of the radio show which is just one of the many radio shows he produces across several other radio stations. Pocholo's shows are mostly anchored by the youth themselves who are all passionately volunteering their time and talent to become a voice for the youth.
Who is more appropriate to share discussions relative to the youth but by the youth themselves who are both emotionally and socially hyper to broadcast their opinions and sentiments over AM radio.
Mico interviewed our founder about his life and work as a blogger and how he has overcome the struggles and issues that proliferated during his early years in the blogging community. Our founder mentioned some of the accusations thrown at him by irate fellow bloggers who were simply just envious of the achievements of our founder.
Wazzup Pilipinas has grown so fast even before it was recognized as a Top Emerging Influential Blog way back 2013. It has collaborated with so many brands, companies, organizations, and even colleges and universities, to become the fast-rising and multi-awarded Filipino community blog site is is right now. It has received so many awards from different award-giving bodies that there are some envious bloggers that have even suspected it to be buying awards. But we all know the truth behind all of these negativities.
Thanks to the many supporters and partners who believed in Wazzup Pilipinas, it has reached a level that has made it possible for the blog site to help a lot of people in propelling their products and services towards a more prominent online presence.
What was amazing about Mico, the radio anchor, was he also took note of what the Wazzup Pilipinas founder was saying all throughout the minutes of the guesting and was able to list down key takeaways from the discussion.
You have to praise this anchor for being able to absorb the main points of the talk quickly. As you know, our founder also has a radio show at the Vigattin Radio show of Radyo Inquirer DZIQ 990 AM, and that he does know that you need to be a fast thinker and talker to be able to keep your listeners and guests engaged in an interesting discussion. Mico was very successful in delivering his lines of thought and opinions, while still being attentive to the replies of his guests.
The youth of today are really the future of our nation. It lies on their eager yet delicate hands on what the future holds for the country. Though many have explored opportunities outside the country, many have returned to the Philippines because it is the right time to do business in a country with a high potential to economic growth.
