Property24 Makes the Big Move to a New Home

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The largest real estate classified ads site in the country has recently transferred to a new, bigger and better home within the same Union Bank Plaza building in Ortigas Center. Your friendly neighborhood pambansang blogger decided to pay a visit to see what the "big move" fuzz was all about. I later found out that they are now at the 27th floor coming from their previous work hub at the 24th floor shared with OLX.

The property portal's new urban-themed modern workspace can now accommodate more people up to an average of 50 personnel. The new office environment is designed to be a laid-back setup so that the staff can freely move around and work comfortably wherever corner or spot of the office they prefer.

Property24 Country Director Steve Santos says they wanted an open office design that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and employee collaboration by implementing a good balance of fun and function.

The first thing that caught my attention was the foosball table, then followed by the not to be missed bright red London telephone booths of which I was told were still in the process of completion to become a solo video conferencing and audio calls booth. I am assuming that there would be more cool facilities and spots to be added in the office to provide the more-than-the-usual and peculiar work experience that's much closer to being a real "home."

Being the largest real estate classified ads site with hundreds of thousands of property listings and a rapidly growing client base in the property industry, it is but right to make the big move so that they can further expand and add more people to improve and provide more services.

I interviewed Steve during the office warming but I'm currently having problems with my Internet Service Provider's poor Internet connection right now so instead of holding the news I'm uploading the video  and transcribing the discussion contained in the interview at a later time. Be sure to come back here for an update.

For the meantime, congratulations to Property24  for their new home. I'm just hoping the state of our Internet connections in the country improves in the soonest possible time so everyone can cope and manage to compete fairly with the fast-changing and developing compute-centric online businesses. A big shout-out to the telecoms out there because we can't move forward if they keep dragging us backwards.
