PLDT Home Fibr Sponsors the Philippine Men's & Women's Volleyball Teams for 2015 SEA Games

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Selfie with the men and women of the Philippine Volleyball Team was easy, thanks to a selfie monopod provided by a fellow blogger with the name of Ivan the Sporty Guy who was also present at the press conference where they launched the individuals that make up the team.

The presscon was held at the New World Hotel in Makati last October 17, 2014, and attended by members of the media.

PLDT HOME Fibr will be sponsoring this year's Philippine Volleyball teams. 36 players - 18 women and 18 men, will be trained for the upcoming SEA games in June 2015.

36 is a lot of names so I will just update this post as soon as I get the soft copy of the press release containing all 36 names.

But for now, I would like to share that the team is composed of both veteran and newbie volleyball personalities that underwent extreme selection based on significant criteria established by the management team.

By the looks of the chosen players, we strongly believe that the management involved in the selection process made a formidable team that are more than ready already to face any foe. Though some of the management team has said that their players still have a disadvantage due to height as compared with the teams of other countries, they will try to make it up with their speed.

The training will now start asap in order to prepare them for the upcoming games in 2015. We hope they will bring a lot of wins for the Philippines.

Noel Sarate and Gretchen Ho were the hosts of the event and were responsible in introducing one by one all of the members of teh team, including those that were not able to make it at the presscon due to conflicts with their schedule.
