Kaspersky Lab: Right on Target with New and Updated Security Products

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Kaspersky Lab has new and updated security products for the Philippine consumers namely the Kaspersky Internet Security for hardcore Internet users, the Kaspersky Anti-Virus for occasional Internet users, and the Kaspersky Internet Security – Multi-Device 2015, which will be currently available only in the Philippines in the entire Southeast Asian region.

"The popularity and affordability of mobile devices as well as the accessibility of Internet has made Filipinos more gadget-loving and Internet-savvy than their regional counterparts that it’s no wonder almost everyone’s going online from their devices here. Unfortunately, this scenario makes Filipinos become increasingly and easily vulnerable to cyber-threats, particularly those using social engineering tactics, through multiple access points," warned Jesmond Chang, Corporate Communications Manager of Kaspersky Lab South East Asia.

At an event dubbed as Kaspersky Lab 2015 Consumer Suite Philipine Media Launch held last September 11, 2014 at the Gandiva Cafe and Archery Range located at teh 7th Floor of One Corporate Center building in Ortigas Center, Kasperky launched the said products, and treated the members of the media to an archery experience as well as a competition to later on reward the winner of the challenge.

Internet users' biggest concerns while online are the protection of their privacy and identity, their personal data, their finances and their children’s safety. Thus, it was really necessary to have some form of protection even for our mobile devices. Tthe availability of Kaspersky Internet Security - Multi-Device, the latest addition to Kaspersky Lab's roster of protection tools, can be an effective first line of defense for Filipinos against online attacks.

Kaspersky Lab warns that no operating system can now be considered safe since attacks on Macs and mobile operating systems are also on the rise. Apple users can no longer argue that their operating system is completely safe.

The Kaspersky Internet Security--Multi-Device, which provides protection for up to five (5) devices, will be offered with a special introductory price of only P1,980 beginning today.

The 1-user of Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 will retail for P990 while the 1-user Kaspersky Anti Virus 2015 will be sold for P760.

These top security software solutions from Kaspersky Lab are now available in all leading IT stores nationwide.
