Help Nyfti Fly to Berlin: Vote For Them at the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition

Nyfti Bicycles is a start-up company affiliated with Manny V. Pangilinan's Metro Pacific Investments Corporation. MVP recently provided them with support through the IdeaSpace Foundation technology start-up competition. They developed their own unique folding bicycle that is more compact and has better road dynamics than what is available in the market. Their goal with our Filipino innovation is to get it internationally known.

They are currently nominated in the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition sponsored by UNESCO, Stiftung Entrepreneurship and Goi Peace Foundation. The winners of the competition will be awarded on October 2014 in Berlin, Germany during the Entrepreneurship Summit.
Three (3) winners will be selected among the top 10 teams with the most votes. The team with the most votes are automatically awarded the People's choice award. Below is the link to their voting page.

There is no registration required. Voters simply need to click on the vote button to chose our idea. Voting ends July 31. They are targeting about 9000+ votes to secure a spot in the top 10 teams. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Below is a Japan surplus bike that they modified. This is not the 3-fold bike that they designed.

Presenting the Sleek 16. The rear frame was extended. Dropouts were changed to accommodate disk brakes and a rear derailleur. Front and rear disk brake. 8 speed drive train. 52 teeth CNC crank. Shwalbe marathon tires. Shimano shifters and brake levers. Tiagra rear deraileur.

Custom carbon fiber front fenders with an integrated headlight. Headset changed to oversize. The fork was modified for 1-1/8" steerer tube. This was done by cutting off the original steerer tube and welded a new bigger one.

Added front Shimano disk brakes. Riding on slick schwalbe marathon racer tires.

Custom carbon fiber rear fender with integrated cateye rear tail light. Rear Shimano disk brakes. 8 speed setup with a Claris rear derailleur. All carbon fiber work is hand crafted and REAL carbon fibers are used.

Sleek 16 was powdercoated with Ferrari red. We added new chain and seat stays on the bike to extend the frame further and improve the ride dynamics.

It still folds easily and is still compact.
