ER Ejercito Steps Down to Avoid Further Turmoil: Hoping to Return in Position Soon

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Even when Ramil Hernandez stepped in and declared himself as the new governor after the COMELEC has disqualified the current governor for overspending during the elections, ER Ejercito was still determined to stay as governor. But it took his uncle, former president Joseph "Erap" Estrada to finally convince him to step down for the sake of peace and order.

Erap even told the people that the same situation happened to him during his term as president when he voluntarily stepped down to avoid further turmoil, but thern he said also that "the Agila will return" (and so he did as Mayor of Manila), the same with ER when he said "the Lawin will return!", but maybe not as governor again, like his uncle, probably getting another position in government.

Abangan ang pagbabalik ng mga "Angry Birds."

Seriously, overspending is an offense done by most politicians during campaigns. I beleive that we should uphold the law but the people's choice should still become the emerging winner regardless of the means done to sell himself to the public. I know there may have been a disadvantage in terms of promotion anmd public awareness, and others may have been persuaded to vote because of "utang na loob" from the gifts and tokens received, but I guess the Filipino people should be the one to re-educate himself that not all the fancy gimmicks and publicity should equate as the most trusted and highly qualified candidate for a government position.

Should ER Ejercito return to position as governor? Must it be the decision of a government's agency?,,, or must it be the constituents of the province of Laguna to put him back where he rightfully deserves?

The people are the wind beneath the wings of a politician. The birds cannot soar high again if there will be no winds to carry them to their destination.
