Techbox Philippines Launches "Race to 10K" Challenge

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Retail store Techbox Philippines recently launched its “Race to 10K Challenge”, inviting the public to “like” its Facebook page (facebook.com/techboxphilippines). Once the page reaches 10,000 likes, Techbox will raffle off 2 vouchers to two lucky followers who will get a chance to purchase a 10” Lenovo Yoga tablet for a jaw-dropping price of PhP10.

“This is part of our commitment to our customers for them to have an enjoyable buying experience every time they visit our stores,” said Angela Gutierrez, Business Unit Head for Techbox Philippines. “Since most Filipinos are tech-savvy and attuned to gadget trends, we want to provide an avenue where they can buy the latest phones and tablets for a more economical price compared to typical mall stores, but with the assurance that they’re buying original products. Unlike those from the gray market, our affordable products come with peace of mind for the customer,” added Angela.

The Lenovo Yoga tablet is famous for two interesting features: a unique form factor that enables the device to stand on its own due to its integrated kickstand base, and a whopping 18-hour battery life.

The Yoga tablet’s unique battery cylinder and kickstand result to a better, more natural angle for everyday activities such as typing, reading, and even watching movies, compared to other tablets. And because of its long battery life, the Yoga tablet can even be used to recharge other devices when they have run out of power.

Aligned with Techbox Philippines’ goal of continuously delighting its customers, Lenovo recently announced the launch of its DOit software suite at the 2014 Mobile World Congress (MWC). The DOit suite aggregates existing and new applications into one useful suite. SHAREit is an all-in-one sharing app that allows devices to share data (photos, videos, etc) wirelessly and without internet connection. SECUREit is an anti-malware and privacy app that not only protects the user’s data but also the device with a single touch. SYNCit can backup the user’s SMS messages, phone logs, and contacts in the cloud; restoration can be done to any Android device. SNAPit, Lenovo’s camera app that provides 10fps burst speeds and various photo filters, works seamlessly with SEEit, a gallery app. Lenovo’s DOit suite is available on Google Play for Android devices for free.

“Customers who are looking for a good deal should also keep abreast of the latest Techbox news. Starting January this year alone, we have already launched three promos that offered amazing deals to our Facebook followers,” said Angela.

Techbox branches can be found at: Alphaland (EDSA cor. Pasong Tamo), SM Pampanga, SM Sta. Rosa Laguna, SM Sta. Mesa Manila, SM Novaliches, Starmall Shaw, Starmall San Juan (Del Monte, Bulacan), Tutuban Mall, Marikina Riverbanks Mall, Harrison Plaza, Victory Mall Caloocan, Sta.
