There will be a display of decent Mixed-Media works by Jeho Bitancor at Kanto Artist Run Space, on October 19, 2013 at 7 pm.
Having lived in the US for six years with neither milk nor honey (as the artist relies on his income outside the country), Jeho Bitancor reflects on the Dollar Tree store which is a veritable source of basic necessities for the less-privileged.
He parodies consumerism itself and contemporary art practice by treating the store as both junkyard and minefield from where to gather inspiration and materials alike.
Opening will be Oct 19 and exhibition will run until Nov 3.
