26th Year Anniversary of FPPF at Fort Santiago

Let’s Have Fun on 26th FPPF Anniversary! On October 26, this Saturday at Fort Santiago;)


HIGHLIGHTS:

There will be three (3) Photo Contests:

1. Post Card Perfect Philippines – Design and create your own 5R (5”x7”) postcard on the theme “Post Card Perfect Phillipines”. This is open in terms of post processing as long as you use your own photos depicting Philippine local scenes. It is okay to add text to describe place and photo. One entry per registered photographer. Entries deadline at 11am on Oct 26. You can make this now and submit your entries as you come to Fort Santiago on Oct 26. 1st Place winner will receive one free PWAsia 2014 registration, P5000 worth of prize and a medal. Second and 3rd Placers will receive gift items plus medals.

2. On-The-Spot (OTS) – for whole day activities. Shoot photos of activities for the whole day including fun games, model shoots, and other activities. Maximum of three (3) 5”x7” entries per photographer. Winners will receive gift items from sponsors.

3. Glamour Photos – during photo shoots for Miata Cars, Cosplay, and Models. Submit maximum of three (3) 8”x12” entries per photographer. Winners will receive gift items from sponsors.

Most Outstanding FPPF Graduate – There will be an Achievement Award for the most outstanding graduate of the FPPF. Registered participants can nominate their candidates from FPPF grads who have done exemplary achievements in photography. Nominees may be presently residing in the Philippines or abroad.

Photographers’ Tiangge – registered photographers can buy and sell photographic gear, whether old or new, in a Photographers’ Tiangge to be set up in Fort Santiago as part of the Mini Trade Show. This will be an ukay-ukay style gadget sale for photographers.


Registration fee for the Oct 26 anniversary is P350 to spend for one anniversary T-shirt, one lunch and two snacks for the day.

The Foundation is inviting all graduates from the various FPPF workshops through the years to come and join the 26th anniversary celebrations. Bring along friends and family. See old friends again. Meet new friends. Shoot and share, compare notes with fellow photographers, and see you at Fort Santiago!

Schedule of Activities Oct 26, 2013

5:30 am Registration begins.
6:00 am Fun Run & Aerobics, then Breakfast at Picnic Area. Mini trade show booths also begin to open at this time.
9:00 am Photo Shoots: Miata Cars, Cosplay, Models. This is where photographers will make their entries (8×12, max of 3 entries per photog) for one of three photo contests.
12:00 noon Lunch
2:00 pm Judging of PhotoWorld Cup entries for the month’s theme of “Vanishing Trade”
3:00 pm FUN GAMES: Egg Throwing, Beer Drinking, Pinoy Henyo, Photo Charade, Tug of War, Sack Race, Longest Line.
5:00 pm Group Picture of all participants, Awarding of Medals and Prizes.
