Max's Restaurant Now Offers New Sizzling Specials at a Limited Time Only

Wazzup Pilipinas!

After a stressful day at the office, my colleagues and I usually try to find time at least once a month to go out and bond with each other over beer and "pulutan".

We often find ourselves in the noisy clubs and bars nearby or around the metro. Depending on what time we are able to leave from work, our budget (a big consideration especially if payday is still a few days away), and our mood for that night, we would try to vote for the most preferable gimmick spot where we could relax, unwind, share stories, listen to a live band or our favorite singers, maybe meet girls if its a boys' night, and get drunk.

Luckily, there's a new choice added for our convenience. Happy Hour will never be the same again as Max's Restaurant, one of my favorite chicken restaurant, now offers meal packages designed especially for the barkada.

Max's Restaurant new "Sizzling Specials" is now available at Max's Scout Tuazon, Glorietta 3, Valero, Convergys, Forbes Town, Tiendesitas, Shaw, Ayala Town Center, Dasmarinas, Harbour Square, Malate, Orosa Ermita, Bluewave, Nuvali and Lipa, until November 30, 2013.

Above you'll see another way to cook chicken aside from just frying it. Max's Restaurant simply has many ways to keep you craving for more satisfying dishes without breaking the bank. The affordability is another reason why many would surely visit Max's Restaurant and try their Sizzling Specials!

Actually, all the dishes in the Sizzling Specials were already available at Max's restaurant except the two new dishes which are the Chicken Necks - cooked either by Original Recipe or Salt and Pepper.

Who doesn't love Sisig? Max's Restaurant can serve you a delightful plate of Sisig for the enjoyment of your barkada. The Max's Chicken Sisig is a sumptuous sizzling treat with Max's chicken chopped to tiny bits and cooked with robust serving of onions, celery and mayonnaise topped with chili fingers.

However, the dish may not be enough alone for your group so I would suggest ordering more from the menu.

Tofu has been my family's favorite. We love to cook this adobo-style but with sliced lettuce. Max's Restaurant gives us a flavor worth a repeat visit.

The Max's Sizzling Tofu (Tofu cubes with chopped onions, red and green bell peppers glazed with a special sauce topped with chilis; good for 2-3 persons) is perfect for the health-conscious individuals all over the world!

It seems I'm not the only one who has tofu among is favorite. Max's Restaurant also has a second Tofu dish among the Sizzling Specials menu. This time it has "talbos ng kangkong" as its veggie partner. Needless to say, it has become among my favorite dishes too.

Adobong Kangkong Stuffed Tofu is Kangkong with sliced shiitake and button mushrooms stir fried in a slightly sweet adobo sauce, stuffed in deep-fried blocks of tofu served on a hot sizzling plate and sprinkled with fried garlic on top.

So they also have seafood by way of Gambas! They come in just the right softness, texture and flavor that's not too overpowering like how I remember from the other restaurants where I've tasted similar dishes.

Max's Gambas con Aligue (Plump succulent prawns cooked in garlic, olive oil and crab fat topped with zesty red chili and served with lightly toasted pandesal Crostini.

The crispy Chicken Necks meal partnered with three bottles of San Mig Light is a great deal. You'll immediately fall in love with the pair.

Salt and Pepper flavored Chicken Neck offers the same crispiness and goodness but with a more spicy flavor you will also love.

Well, everyone loves the max's restaurant original recipe Fried Chicken whole. For me every part is great to eat except for the thick breast part where the flavors has not penetrated well enough.

Max's Restaurant also has a new Cake Slice Sampler in a box for only 139Php from Max's Corner Bakery. Its is also available in the provinces for 149Php. Why is it more expensive in the provinces? Mainly because the commissary of the bakery products can be found only in Manila so Max's Restaurant needs to charge an additional 10Php to the bill.

If you're still here and reading this, then I must have not convinced you enough to try out Max's Restaurant's Sizzling Specials and Cake Slice Sampler from Max's Corner Bakery.
