My Summer Staycation and Personal Blog

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Last summer, or even before that, I've already prepared how I'm going to make the most of my summer vacation. My parents already told us that we're not going anywhere that's synonymous to the word "paradise" because of their work this summer so I think it's proper to call it "summer staycation". I've established my own blog last January 1st, I have decided to put it up to express my thoughts/feelings/moods that I am currently having. I make sure that the posts that I'm publishing are quite "relatable" to my readers (if there are). Another reason why I've opt to build a blog is to resist boredom, like what I've said a while ago, my siblings and I will just be staying at our house and I don't get along with them that much so, my bestfriends last summer was my laptop, camera, and our aircon.

There comes the time that we've inflated our "kiddie pool" because my mom wants us to have a bonding time at the same time spend it inside our territory and that wasn't that bad, we had snacks and of course the pool even though it was just 3 feet high and 4 meters wide, that was the part that triggered some bonding moments among us.

Let's go back to my blog -- amateur blog haha. I've started to post some of my "outfit of the day" shots and I was quite uncomfortable at first because I'll be doing shots alone and when I'll hear our gate opening, I'll run as fast as I can and go to our bathroom and change clothes because I'm not use to doing shots with other people even if they're part of our family. It was just a secret blog until I've gained confidence and spread the news about my personal blog. Then just weeks or months after, I've received emails from local and international shops asking if I can do a product reviews or if I can host a giveaway for them. I'd grabbed the opportunity and everything went well and I'm really happy to receive free things and earn money.

Another thing that made me happy this summer was, I'd got the chance to watch an awesome movie for free and get freebies from the sponsor of the contest that I've entered.

Never waste time, make the most out of it and be creative and think of the wildest thing you can possibly do and don't forget to use the things around you that are free, free things are the best. Better yet don't be afraid of others' feed backs because they are not bad things, but at the same time good things. Gain confidence and don't be afraid to try new things, go outside your comfort zone because there are always better places that you'll be occupying.
