Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna : A Time to Remember at my Favorite Theme Park

Wazzup Pilipinas!

“Every summer has a story, but this year it’s more like a novel.” – Anonymous

Who would have thought hundreds of memories can fit in a two-month vacation? Every day was a day to remember. I never knew summer could be that memorable and fun for me. I used to be at home, lying on soft white linen couch when in fact I can go out and enjoy the summer heat. Well, I kind of regret I didn’t make the most out of my previous summer vacations. But now that I had an ultimate summer experience, I promised myself to be as adventurous as I was this summer.

As preparation to UPCAT, I enrolled in PTS, a review center for college admission tests. I had my own share of fun with my PCSHS batch mates and other students from different schools. We refreshed our minds with the lessons that are supposed to pop up on the examinations. Thought it was summer time and other teenagers were pampering themselves on beaches, I am very enthused with studying. That’s a first, I should say. It was my first time to be very diligent in coming to a learning center.

Aside from reviewing, I had a bonding together with my family in Enchanted Kingdom.

Enchanted Kingdom enjoys the reputation of being the "Disneyland" of the Philippines. It is a world-class theme park located in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The theme park boasts of rides and attractions unique to the Philippines and in size and magnitude that has never been experienced before. It also has a variety of musical shows throughout the season and they have the 600-seating capacity Eldar's Tent which holds entertainment and special events for private and public functions.

It was my mom’s birthday. We rode different stomach-twisting rides. Even though I went there for several times, the feeling is still the same. The excitement, nervousness, and enthusiasm mixed together at the same time. My mom who went there for the first time is very glad to see it. She had a perfect birthday. I had a perfect day, too. Who can’t have, after all?

Summer is a perfect time for leisure and fun. It is a time to appreciate the world and people who were with you. You may not experience going to must-go places, but being with your loved ones is a nice thing to experience. It isn’t about the places you go to but your experience with the people you love, right? I had a perfect summer. I hope you had, too.
