Reckitt Benckiser Philippines Introduces New Veet Ambassador

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Everyone experienced an evening of beauty and glamour when Reckitt Benckiser Philippines honored the first ever My Veet Girl last May 28, 6 p.m., at Prive Luxury Club, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

My Veet Girl is a contest searching for the Filipina who embodies Veet’s essence — beauty and confidence. From among all the hopefuls, nine finalists have been chosen to compete for the title.

“We want to celebrate the beauty of Filipino women so we came up with this search. We also want all women to experience what beauty feels like; beauty that comes from having silky smooth, hair-free skin,” said Veet Brand Manager, Angelo Dapilan.

The contest started in April through the Veet Beauty Studios located in Robinsons Ermita, Robinsons Galleria, Trinoma and the island of Boracay. Photos of the participants were taken at these venues and were uploaded to Veet Philippines’ Facebook page for online voting.

The finalists are: Kaye Lagroda of Quezon City, Anne Banadera of Makati, Ysabel Chan of Novaliches, Jam Ocampo of Manila, Kate Escalona of Tarlac, Krizzia Caca of Valenzuela, Mean Flores of Mandaluyong, Trisha Duncan of Rizal, and Mica Kirsch of Manila.

In the end, only one emerged as the new brand Ambassador for Veet, the world’s number one depilatory brand. Congratulations to the very first My Veet Girl winner, Trisha Duncan!

Trisha Duncan brought home PhP50,000 cash, one year supply of Veet and a spot in the second season of I AM MEG, Meg Magazine’s reality TV competition.
