Rufo's Kalayaan Avenue Has Moved To Rufo's A.Venue

Wazzup Pilipinas !

Thanks to Rufo's Famous Tapa for the sumptuous meals my friends and I had earlier.

I am now reminiscing my college days when my classmates and I enjoyed the many "silog" meals at the Intramuros hole in the wall eateries.

But this time, its a homecoming treat to a past where I had to struggle quite a bit in order to pass an Engineering course at the Mapua Institute of Technology.

The days were never complete without the many "silogs" choices (Tapsilog, tocilog, porksilog, chicksilog, hotsilog, longsilog, etc.)

Rufo's Famous Tapa has also extended their menu by introducing "Fil-Am" fusion foods as well.....so expect burgers and spaghettis on your Rufo's Famous Tapa visit.

We were there just yesterday at their A. Venue Mall, Makati Avenue branch which just opened last March 1, and oh Wow!!!!...They really deserve the "famous" not only in their tapa but also in their other dishes!

Loved it!!!!

Rufo's Kalayaan Ave. has moved to Rufo's A.Venue.

It seems they are getting some negative reactions from hoards of people thinking that there is no longer a Rufo's Makati at all after the closing of Kalayaan.

It needs to be clear that they never closed. They only transferred to a better location in Makati. They transferred the same day they closed. The same minute actually.

The famous tapsilog is not the only dish you'll find at Rufo's Famous Tapa. I'm so sure you are all familiar with the dishes below so I won't spell them out anymore. The meals are pure Filipino cuisine made more popular by the Rufo's branding. From the hole in the wall origins, Rufo's has indeed made a mark throughout the years and I'm betting it will forever be a part of our Pinoy dining history. Menus may change, improved or new recipes added, people will continue to crave for more of their favorite Pinoy dishes, over a glass of ice tea, cola or beer.

You will love the "tokwa't baboy" (fried tofu and pork) that goes well with any beer. It is a treat that you can enjoy all throughout the night.

Rufo's Famous Tapa is here to stay and grow further in number.

Watch out for the opening of more branches really, really soon!

Rufo's Famous Tapa at A.Venue Makati phone nos. are still the same as Rufo's Kalayaan Ave. 899-4207 and 899-3811.
