Bistecca : Rockwell's Prime Steakhouse Experience

Wazzup Pilipinas !

Steaks are meant for VIPs and kings!

Its my way of rewarding myself for a job well done, or to celebrate a special occasion, or its what I serve my dearest loved ones and very special honorable guests. It's what I would order for a date especially if I was newly courting the girl.

If I want to impress, I would serve them a top-notch heavy and sumptuous steak meal. It always would feel like a grand celebration whenever steaks are served. It's of the highest level!

If you are around the Rockwell area, then better go visit Bistecca at the Joya building beside Rockwell Powerplant Mall in Makati. Here you are assured of the best premium or Certified Angus Beef (C.A.B.) steak meals.

We truly enjoyed our steak dining experience at Bistecca, where my colleagues and I shared a delightful huge serving of steaks plus other side dishes complementing the steak dishes. The steaks were charred crust on the outside and a nice pinkish color on the inside.

The T-Bone steak was gorgeously prepared medium-rare which brought out a very soft and juicy taste bud adventure. Served on a chopping board along with several kinds of sauces, oils and salts to customize the flavor to our liking.

Horseradish, mustard and peppercorn sauces were available and also three kinds of salt: truffle salt, spicy salt and garlic herbed salt, plus two kinds of oils which names I couldn't remember right now. You have to try them all as it definitely puts a somewhat different flavor to the steak.

The table napkins looks a lot like a folded shirt with a Bistecca label.

The place boasts of a gigantic painting on its wall and two chandeliers made up of bottles.

The semi-private dining room upstairs is equally elegant - and they say popular figures frequent the place because of this  room.

Chef Miguel "Migs" Gianan proudly manages Bistecca and helps management and owners decide on what's best for the steak house. He personally picks the suppliers and sources of ingredients by heart as if he owns the place....and I must say he truly knows his steaks!

    1. I haven't tried mushrooms ever in my life. In the steak house of my friend, they were eating but I refrain to ate it as I don't like and even we are not allowed to eat.
