Palace of Versailles : Impressive Tourist Attraction

Experience life at court as though you had been there yourself.

The next stop was at the Palace of Versailles where I went around the gardens first before I visited the palace's royal apartments.I was blown away by the magnificent apartments of the king and queen as well as the impressive Hall of Mirrors.

If  you're passionate about art and history, come and explore Louis XIV's Palace of Versailles. Let the Palace of Versailles take you back in time to the era of the great French monarchs.

One my way to the Palace of Versailles but just couldn't stop myself from taking pictures of the other sights I pass along the way.

Finally reaching my destination. You really have to personally see how grand this establishment is. My photos do not give justice to the Palace of Versailles.

The Palace of Versailles, or simply Versailles, is a royal chateau in Versailles in the Ile-de-France region of France. In French it is called the Chateau de Versailles.

The Fifth Republic has enthusiastically promoted the museum as one of France’s foremost tourist attractions (Opperman, 2004). The palace, however, still serves political functions.

There's more of our Paris trip...watch for it.
