Cucina Andare : The First Food Truck Market in the Philippines

Please join Cucina Andare! The First FOOD TRUCK Market in the Philippines at the Glorietta 3 Open park (the rotonda in front of Makati Shangri-La Hotel) ! Great food choices, premium/craft beers and cocktails plus LIVE music! They'll be open every Fri/Sat/Sun 4pm-3am.

Thanks for your support and please spread the word! I'll be updating this blog post with some details, but for now...enjoy some of the pictures below.

From the same organizers that brought you successful morning and night food markets like Morning & Midnight Mercato in Bonifacio Global City, CUCINA ANDARE brings together specialty and gourmet food trucks, your favorite Mercato Centrale vendors and new and innovative food, drink and pastry vendors from home-based food businesses from around Makati!

So for the food trucks there's Gelati, Mexikombi, Guac Trac, Shawarma Bros, Q Kebab, Brothers Burger, Chef Broosy, Hungry Rover.....and ...is there anymore?

Though I was a bit disappointed because not all of these trucks and food stalls gave some free food samples. Others just gave some bits and small pieces to taste so it wasn't really enough for an accurate product review. Some were just not too eager to let people try out their food for free.

Make your belly merry this Holiday Season at Cucina Andare!

From the same organizers of the popular Mercato Centrale night food market in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig comes CUCINA ANDARE! - the first food truck market and food bazaar in the Philippines – located at Glorietta Park (in front of Glorietta 3, Landmark, Makati Shangri-La Hotel & 6750 Ayala Ave.), Ayala Center, Makati  City! CUCINA ANDARE will be open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 4:00pm to 3:00am starting December 14 (Friday)!

CUCINA ANDARE brings together specialty and gourmet food trucks, your favorite Mercato Centrale vendors and new and innovative food, drink and pastry vendors from home-based food businesses from around Makati!

“The food truck is a staple in the American foodie scene!” shared Anton Diaz, co-organizer of Cucina Andare and the popular food and travel blogger behind www.OurAwesomePlanet.com. “There are now popular gourmet food trucks in San Francisco, New York and Australia, and people follow them wherever they go!  We believe it’s right about time that food trucks make their debut in the Philippine foodie scene! “

“We are also excited to bring our food truck market to Glorietta as we celebrate their grand re-launch!” added RJ Ledesma, the other co-organizer of Cucina Andare. “In fact, we will be launching the Food Truck Association of the Philippines during the opening of the market.  We strongly encourage more food trucks and food vendors to join the market with their own unique dishes!”

Aside from the Food Trucks, in the middle of the park are also several food stalls that equally warrants your attention as many are really interesting to both sight and taste.

The Merry Moo Artisan Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream was to die for. I must admit I never stop eating it until it was all gone. I was even carrying it around with me and continuing while visiting other food stall. I sure wish I could try out the other flavors as well.

Carlo's Kitchen offered some crunchy "pork" belly. Yeah! it was crunchy, and tasty too. Crispy and uber crunchy pork belly strips deep fried perfectly! That's Crunchy Belly!

It was like a better "chicharon" but had a very unique taste that's not too salty. In fact, I got to finish the order without worrying about my diet. That's how good it was. Just need to buy it while its freshly cooked.

Schmidt's International Gourmet Hotdogs was sensational. They gave me half of their specialty Coney island Chili Dog (chili, cheese, jalapeno and onion relish) to sample, and would love to have another half soon...hehehe. I wonder who got to eat the other half of my hotdog?

Top Dog Gourmet Sausages only gave some bits to sample the hotdog, so I couldn't really say hows the taste of the actual product.

The Chicken+Waffle Haus is definitely worth a visit - and a full individual review. I loved their Belgian waffles even on its own, and the fried chicken fillet complemented the waffle into a delightful play in taste. They're actually so good already even without the Maple or Hickory BBQ or Chocolate syrup.

More food reviews either here or on individual posts........soon.

On top of the great food choices, Cucina Andare visitors can enjoy live acoustic performances in a family-friendly environment.

    1. Unfortunately, I must have missed it.Where exactly are you located? There's just too many of you guys out there and only got to try out just a few, especially those that readily offered us their food and drinks.

I'll drop by again this weekend if you like us to try it out. :)
