No matter how alluring the features or how exciting the attractions, having a great location is still the ultimate lifestyle amenity that could be provided by a modern home.

After all, there is no greater fulfillment that one could get than having more time enjoying the comforts of one’s home.

This is what DMCI Homes aims to offer in Satori Residences, a five-building development along the bustling Santolan district in Pasig City.

Exuding a unique charm with its Neo-Asian minimalist theme, the resort-inspired sanctuary along F. Pasco Avenue gives its residents a holistic lifestyle with its excellent proximity to mass transit and public transportation terminals.

Satori Residences’ close proximity to the Santolan station of the LRT-2 line, makes travel to any point in the Metro faster and a lot easier.

The condominium provides professionals and students alike a convenient and accessible take-off point going in and out of Eastwood and Ortigas business districts, top learning institutions like UP and Ateneo, and recreational centers in the metro.

Likewise, an added perk of living in the transit-friendly community is having more time for quality moments with families and loved ones.

One may choose to hang out in nearby shopping malls, department stores, and restaurants or just enjoy the warmth and comfort of Satori Residences’ community.

Designed for start-up families and young professionals, the condominium’s verdant surroundings, which occupies 70 percent of the land area, provides a much-needed breathing space in the urban jungle.

A picnic area, pool complex, well-manicured atriums, and lounge area and wide hallways allow for a sense of community and habitation.

Children, on the other hand, can enjoy their playground, where they can mingle and have fun with neighboring kids, just like in gated villages.

Meanwhile, for fitness enthusiasts, Satori Residences has its own jogging path, a basketball court, and a gym. There is also an entertainment room or a game room for those who are looking for a place to hang out at during weekends or at the end of a tiring day.

Also for added convenience and peace of mind of residents, a 24/7 security service and CCTV provisions in main areas will be provided by DMCI Property Management Corporation. The development too will have its own water refilling station, laundromat, and convenience store.

DMCI Homes’ trademark Lumiventt® Design Technology is also present in all of Satori Residences’ five buildings Amani, Hacana, Lana, Rahu, and Yasu where construction is now ongoing. The Lumiventt® design innovation allows fresh, natural air and light to flow around the open areas thereby saving energy by minimizing the consumption of electricity throughout the day.

ZEN Rooms, the leading hospitality group seeded by Rocket Internet, is delighted to announce the launch of Founders Philippines, a new program to support top young entrepreneurs based in the country.

The program comes at a time when more millennials are looking to establish their own company. According to a recent report by The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), 44% of Filipinos intend to start a business in the future. However, many may lack the skills and knowledge needed to successfully grow a business: Figures released by GEM showed that the Philippines currently has the highest business closure rate in Southeast Asia and 3x higher than Vietnam, Malaysia or Indonesia [1]. By providing highly practical tips, knowledge and a solid network each month with leading entrepreneurs and speakers, the program is looking to support the government’s target of doubling the number of entrepreneurs in the country by 2022, create jobs and new services.

“The Philippines is a country brimming with entrepreneurial potential and societal issues to be solved” said Nathan Boublil, CEO and Co-Founder of ZEN. “ZEN has gone through the hardship of starting and growing fast in the Philippines, and we now want to share and create a leading network of entrepreneurs who help each other. ZEN is committed to providing driven young professionals with 100% actionable, practical entrepreneurial education and the network they need to launch a company to boost entrepreneurial activity in the Philippines. We are supporting driven entrepreneurs of all kinds, whether lifestyle or venture-backed,” added Nathan.

Betty, a cohort member and Ateneo graduate, commented that “the event was highly practical and gave real tips that can be used now when managing a team and will be key when launching a start-up in the future”.

Founders Philippines will hold sessions each month free of charge. Once accepted onto the program, the sessions provide participants with training and mentoring for their business ideas. Hosted by leading founders and executives in the Philippines, the program also promotes an opportunity to network with like-minded young entrepreneurs.

Araneta City Helps Spread Breast Cancer Awareness with ‘I Pink I Can’

Wazzup Pilipinas!

To help support Breast Awareness Month this October, Araneta City held I Pink I Can: Breast Cancer Awareness Event in the Gateway Mall Activity Area on October 13, 2019 at 3pm. The City is holding various activities meant to provide information regarding breast cancer, with Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner-up Shamcey Supsup, who will also host the event, and sisters Dianne and Katrina Medina taking center stage to help in spreading awareness.

Breast cancer is a serious issue here in the Philippines. It has been reported that the country has the highest incidence rate in Asia and is among the top countries in the world with the most cases of breast cancer. In fact, one out of every 13 Filipinas are expected to develop breast cancer in their lifetime.

But all is not lost. Breast cancer is preventable and curable, with modern medicine starting to find solutions for this. At the same time, the number of breast cancer survivors has been increasing steadily. All of this wouldn’t be possible without proper education and awareness, which is exactly what “I Pink I Can” hopes to provide for the Araneta City community.

Aside from being a beauty queen, Shamcey is also an advocate of awareness for breast cancer; as are TV hosts, sisters Dianne and Katrina Medina. The two shared insights through inspirational messages and games they held for the audience.

There were also be talks given by the Philippine Cancer Society, Dr. Rachael Rosario, and Vilma Quismondo, a breast cancer survivor herself. Different activities happened in between the talks such as a Bra Cup Filler Making, and a DIY Pink Tee activity. Registration for the event started at 11am. Customers aged 20 years old and above who registered also availed of a free breast cancer screening.

In addition to the “I Pink I Can” event, Araneta City also painted its pedestrian lanes pink for the month of October to spread awareness and encourage education regarding breast cancer.

“I Pink I Can” is presented by Araneta City in partnership with Philippine Cancer Society, Qualimed, Rustans, Tony and Jockey Salon, Michaela Lifestyle, and Latt Liv. For more information and other Araneta City updates, follow @AranetaCity on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
