Binibining Pilipinas 2019 Grand Coronation Night

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The opening number had suffered a technical problem causing a lengthy delay. The media call time was 6pm but the pageant started at 10pm. Imagine the stress it also gave the candidates who have been struggling in rehearsal for days already. It is also nit a joke wearing those high heels.

Hosted by ex-lovers Anne Curtis and Richard Gutierrez, they looked so awkward, especially with Anne wearing a Twitter Bird inspired outfit.

Negros Occidental's Vickie Rushton is on fire! But if you watch her during the preliminary Q&A, she's only pretty, and not so brainy. During the Q&A, it seemed Negros Occidental ran out of time as she was trying to compose her answer in her head. Actually, half of the top 15 didn't really answered the question given to them and went straight to their rehearsed answers.

She is undoubtedly beautiful and one of the strongest candidates, but for me, Ms. Universe Philippines is either Patch Magtanong and Gazini Ganados.

A State has three inherent powers — police power, eminent domain, and taxation. Patricia Magtanong, on the other hand, has three inherent powers, too — beauty, intelligence, and congeniality — and I believe that these are the reasons why she is deserving to win.

She got the looks, the brain, the body and the personality that every queen must possess. Indeed, a perfect fit. Fearlessly rooting for Atty. Bea Patricia Magtanong! Laban, Bataan!

Pia Wurtzbach? Catriona Gray?

Aside from their physical beauty, sexy bodies, signature runway walks, and beautiful gowns—their INTELLECT and ADVOCACIES made them Miss Universe.

Patch Magtanong checks all the boxes and she advocates for the rights of prisoners!

Gazini is like Catriona Gray and Pia Wurtzbach combined!

Not to take anything away from Vickie but she’s too sweet for MUP.

We need someone like Gazini or Patch who can catch up with the ravishing Latinas in Miss Universe.

Sorry, but we are looking for candidates who stands for a cause and who could slay that runway. Not to mention, it's the Q&A that matters a lot and not just the beauty and amount of awards.

We are looking for the total package! Someone with a great pasarela, a great cause, and a great communication skills! + bonus the consistent glam looks.

The fact that catriona is the total package and earned the MU title, we have to step up our game this year to get that back-to-back title!

Only Gloria Diaz is the legit judge Binibing Pilipinas 2019 have tonight. Ang daming pwede judge pero businessmans, Mayor, Celebrities yung ibang judges why not invite other judges who are expert in pageant industry.

Never man sab nagkalegit judge kaayo ang Miss U ya. Pacquaio and Lea Salonga was once a judge sa Miss U. Sooooo, yeah. Hahahahahaha!

Lets just accept the fact Showbiz and Business inclined ang Bb. Pilipinas and other pageant events National or International. Sponsors are really involved as always. Haha so dawat nalang ta ani.

PHLPost Opens Stamps Exhibit to Mark Chinatown Museum Grand Launch

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has mounted an exhibition called “Revive” featuring a section that showcased historical artifacts of the old post office building, chronicling the history of the postal service and Philippine Stamps to coincide with the Grand Launch of the Interactive Chinatown Museum.

Located at the 4th floor, Lucky Chinatown Building A in the famous district of Binondo, Manila, guests and museum enthusiast were treated with a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage, colorful festivities and traditions featuring “Binondo: A History of Connections”.

The Chinatown Museum has sections that the public can walk through famous places, and historical collections which can also be seen through multimedia displays for the public to enjoy and appreciate.

With PHLPost participation, it aims to inspire Filipinos to protect, preserve and promote this nationally important historical archive of stamps and collections providing visual, physical and written records of 251 years of postal heritage in the country.

The Philippine Postal System has a remarkable history. It was first established in Manila in 1767. The first known location of the Manila Post Office was on Escolta, next to the Estero de la Reina near Santa Cruz church.

The Manila Central Post Office Building was built in 1926 as a modern colonial architecture, an example of a perfect neo-classical monument built and designed by Filipino Architect Juan Arellano and Tomas Mapua in the heart of Manila. The structure was rebuilt, guided by its original design, after suffering extensive damage during the World War II.

The historic building has been declared an Important Cultural Property (ICP) and will undergo renovation with the assistance coming from the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) next year.
