The Asia Foundation launches 2nd Development Entrepreneurship Mentoring Progr

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Photo above shows participants of the 2nd Development Entrepreneurship Mentoring Program. Joining the launch event were Sam Chittick, Country Representative of The Asia Foundation, Paul Harrington, First Secretary of the Australian Embassy in the Philippines, and Filomeno “Men” Sta. Ana III, Coordinator and Founding Member, Action for Economic Reforms (AER).

The Asia Foundation, with the support of the Australian Embassy in the Philippines, has formally launched the 2nd Development Entrepreneurship (DE) Mentoring Program for policy-reform leaders in the Indo-Pacific region.

The DE Mentoring Program aims to facilitate deeper learning and practice of policy reform. Mentees receive one-on-one mentoring sessions from veteran reform leaders over six months. During the mentorship, they learn to identify, clarify, and pursue their reform ideas using Development Entrepreneurship principles.

“This mentorship program aims to support mentees as change agents in pursuing positive policy reforms in their sector or area of expertise. It serves as a support mechanism, as Development Entrepreneurship crosses the boundaries between traditional development work and other sectors,” said Mr. Sam Chittick, Country Representative of The Asia Foundation.

Mr. Paul Harrington, First Secretary of the Australian Embassy in the Philippines, shared that the mentoring program demonstrates the Australian government’s continued commitment to work with the Philippine government, stakeholders from civil society, business, and the academic community to strengthen governance and address development challenges.

This group comprises 20 individual mentees and is a mix of development professionals from the academe, faith-based organizations, NGOs, private corporations, and the government. One of the mentees is an official from BARMM (Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao); three are from Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Fiji, while two participants work on projects sponsored by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

“I was inspired to apply for the 6-month DE mentoring program after attending the online course on Development Entrepreneurship and listening to the success stories of the various policy reform advocates,” said Keith Jablo, Project Associate of Ayala Foundation and University Lecturer of the University of the Philippines-Visayas, and one of the program’s mentees. Through the mentoring program, I know that I can make the reform I envision for the communities I work with into reality,” Jablo added.

The Development Entrepreneurship program will run until September 2022. The next mentoring group is expected to begin on the 1st quarter of 2023. Aside from the mentoring program, the 3rd batch of the Development Entrepreneurship: 12 Keys to Successful Reform Online Course will start on 16 May 2022.

At the Astra Pimentel, a senatorial candidate, Meet and Greet with media

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

I guess this is the election when there are quite a huge number of hopefuls, from presidential down to senatorial candidates, and not just at the national level, I've also seen so many aspiring to be among the local government officials. Are they truly aiming to serve the public, inspite of these crazy times when the pandemic has given us so many challenges? I'm quite amused of the political environment in the Philippines as there are so many choices available but still mostly composed of the same faces.Thoigh there are new players, many are also connected and allied with the same traditional politicians we've known throughout the years.

Among the new faces is Senator hopeful Astra Pimentel (Naik), running under the PDP-LABAN and proudly endorsed by President Duterte himself.

It's not my first time hearing her talk as I was able to watch her during the SMNI senatorial debates, and she is indeed good in expressing her ideas, and hopefully she will also be a hands-on government official who will not totally rely on her staff doing groundwork, but even going to farflung places to personally witness and experience the realities of the real world. Sabi nga niya, kahit baha ay lulusungin niya, makarating lang sa kanyang paroroonan. We do need somebody who is not afraid to get  dirty. We need somebody who will walk the talk, someone who also acts correspondingly and not full of just press releases and publicity.

Though she seems to be too grateful of President Duterte and Pimentel for all the opportunities in government, we've learned that she started from the lower ranks and went through several positions before this level up to  a senator position. Those years of experience is among her advantages as we know she can relate to what's happening at most levels unlike other senator hopefuls who quickly jumped to running as senator. We just hope that all that "utang na loob" would not make her blind and ignore the shortcomings of her "idols". Also, her loyalty to her party should end when the fate of the country and Filipinos are at stake.

It was also revealed at the Meet and Greet that she was the woman behind some notable movements that paved the way to many political movements so we are guaranteed that she knows how things work behind the scenes so she won't be totally dependent on her staff to orient her on the basics. I guess there's really a woman behind many great men.

As a wife and mother, the revelation that she is in a good relationship even with the children of her husband from a previous marriage and treats them as her real children, and that the kids love her even more than their real mother, shows that she can love without discrimination. We need one like her that would welcome us with open arms inspite of such situations.

When asked how she wants to be identified amidst all the other senatorial candidates, she is more inclined to be a champion against women trafficking especially for OFWs. Incidentally, her husband is also running as a nominee of Ako OFW partylist. Both husband and wife are geared towards the benefit of OFWs.

Her promise is an open door policy, similar to how she has been doing ever since working for Pimentel. She assures that everyone is welcome to reach out to her as conveniently as possible without the hassles of bureaucracy.

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Reveal, a blockchain platform that offers complete security solutions for digital assets announced another round of IDO, allowing the general public and crypto community to support the project and reap the resulting benefits.

Their next IDO or REV3AL Round 2 will take place this 4th of May, 2022 on spacePad – the launchpad of Coinswap Space.

In the digital era, everything is becoming more unique and easier to copy. Digital media are extremely simple to reproduce and spread due to their nature.

Owners of digital assets who are not on the blockchain currently have no way to verify their legitimacy, and even NFT collectors cannot do so without auditing the blockchain. For most users, this is a huge stumbling block.

Furthermore, digital assets do not have multi-factor authentication. There are several ways to safeguard what users and creators have, but only one puts them in charge of their ownership. And the technology offered by Rev3al is the best security solution for digital asset protection!

Rev3al is a blockchain platform with innovative digital copyright protection & anti-counterfeit technology that aims to safeguard artists, creators, and intellectual property owners throughout the digital spectrum and into the physical world.

It has a patent-pending complete security solution for digital assets, including new image-based encryption and multi-layered digital security features.

Likewise, the Rev3al technology is considered the world’s first NFT ownership authentication tool with self-verifying effects.

Rev3al Technology employs Hedera blockchain technology to establish a scalable, spendable global utility with an authentication and verification procedure utilizing $RVL, the company’s native token.

The $RVL token built on Hedera Hashgraph has a total supply of 1 billion tokens and an initial market capitalization of 25 million dollars.

“We’re excited to bring the Rev3al project to life,” says Mr. Mo Kumarsi, Rev3al’s Corporate Global Officer. “We believe that by using the latest technology we can provide a complete solution for digital asset protection of artists, creators, and intellectual property owners throughout the digital spectrum.”

He also says “We are actively developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), which should be ready in the next months. By the end of 2023, we will have a Commercially Viable Product (CVP) that will be licensed as part of the API that will be used by a wide variety of digital platforms, ranging from NFT Marketplaces to the Metaverse.”

Rev3al’s team of professionals has substantial experience in systems architecture, anti-counterfeiting, arts, media, cyber security, licensing, publishing, and encryption to assure the smooth operation of the Rev3al technology, allowing them to revolutionize the face of digital media and IP protection.

These professionals consist of Mo Kumarsi as Corporate Global Officer, Cary Quinn as Chief Technology Officer, Adam Unger as Corporate Operations Officer, Adam Russell as Corporate Revenue Officer, Naveen Kumar as Director of Blockchain Development, and Mohit Siroh as Director of Blockchain Technology.

Venturi Partners Hits Final Close of USD 175M in Maiden Fund

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Investment platform aims to invest in growth stage consumer-businesses in India & SE Asia

Venturi Partners, a Singapore-based investment platform that empowers audacious brands in India and Southeast Asia, announced today that its maiden fund has hit its final close of USD 175 million. The firm may, however, increase the quantum of the fund with demand for investments going up.

Founded by veteran consumer investor Nicholas Cator, the investment platform's expertise lies in identifying and supporting Asian high-growth consumer companies with an online or offline presence in sectors ranging from FMCG to education and healthcare services. The Venturi team has, in their previous roles, invested and supported a variety of consumer brands such as Byju's, Lazada, Pristyn Care, Cure.fit, Chewy, Oatly, Global Fashion Group, Burger King, Sula Vineyards, Domino's & Future Consumer.

Venturi has already deployed 30% percent of the fund across three investments in India and South- East Asia, and aims to deploy the rest over the next 24 months. The platform typically invests $10 million to $40 million in series B to series D rounds. The team has strong prior entrepreneurial and operating backgrounds and will leverage this experience to be a value-added partner to its companies.

"The Venturi team has a unique expertise, network and track record in the Consumer space in the region. Founders today are looking for more than just investors - they want long term partners that understand consumer trends and brands and have a long-term mindset. Adding value to portfolio companies by being sector focused, operationally minded and supporting management teams on specific projects is more relevant now than ever. We will only make 8 investments from Fund - 1 and work closely with our founders," said Nicholas Cator, Managing Partner at Venturi Partners.

The platform has raised commitments from large EU and Asian family offices, such as Peugeot Invest, Ackermans & Van Haaren and Frederic De Mevius, Founder of Verlinvest and a member of the family ownership of ABI.

"Our aim is to build a long-term, partnership-based investment platform with a small number of Families with similar values that want to participate in the Asian consumer growth story. We offer our Families more transparency on our portfolio than a traditional fund and will offer up to 100% of their commitment in co-investment opportunities. This enables us to deploy larger amounts into our portfolio companies and to support them over multiple rounds," said Nicholas Cator, Managing Partner at Venturi Partners

Clear Legalities of Delta 9 THC

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Are you among the people who think that hemp-based products are still illegal in your country? Do you feel hesitant in consuming them as you fear legal troubles? Well, this article has got enough information to make you cannabinoid-savvy! So, keep reading till the very end to know about the legalities of Delta-9 THC from TRE House.

https://trehouse.com/collections/delta-9/

What Is Delta 9 THC in Simple Language?

Do you want to bust your stress and experience bliss? Did you come home after a tiring day’s work and want to feel “high”? Delta 9 THC has got it all.

It is a natural metabolite extracted from dried marijuana leaves following a unique process. It exhibits psychoactive properties and has the capacity to:

● Create a euphoric effect

● Give you immense pleasure, satisfaction, and bliss

● Improve your sleep-wake cycle

● Help you out in Neurotherapy

● Bust your stress and make you feel calm

● Slow down your thought process and relieve you from the state of anxiety

Hence, Delta 9 THC is nothing less than magic and can be that little thing you waited for your entire life.

But aren’t hemp-based products illegal? Let us delve deeper and know the math behind its usage.

What Are The Consumption Laws Associated With The Delta 9 THC?

As long as the hemp-based products consist of 0.3% of the Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis, they are federally legal. So, in practicality, this means that all the products presently sold legally in the U.S market consist of Delta 9 THC, which is not more than 0.3% of the weight of that product.

For example, if you are willing to consume Delta 9 THC by way of a gummy whose total weight is 60 grams, then the overall composition of Delta 9 THC in this gummy cannot exceed 180 mg.

As long as the composition of Delta 9 THC in this gummy is 4.5 mg or less than that, it is valid for consumption in the U.S as per the present federal laws.

What Is the Maximum Serving Size of Delta 9 THC in A Product and a Package?

The “0.3% percent rule” was passed when U.S President Mr. Donald Trump signed the Farm Bill on 20th December 2018.

Besides this rule, the law also added certain other conditions that validate the use of Delta 9 THC based products in the U.S. These are:

● The maximum serving size of Delta 9 THC in a single product cannot exceed 10 mg

And

● The maximum serving size of Delta 9 THC in a single package cannot exceed 100 mg

This translates into the fact that:

● The gross weight of a particular Delta 9 THC-based product cannot exceed 3.33 grams if it consists of Delta 9 THC in the maximum permissible limit.

● The gross weight of a particular Delta 9 THC-based package cannot exceed 33.33 grams if it consists of Delta 9 THC in the maximum permissible limit.

Can You Travel On Air With Delta 9 THC?

If you have a sticky power bar, or maybe a vape cartridge, which has equal to or less than 0.3% of Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis, then you can certainly travel on-air with your recreational products and even consume it while sitting an airplane as long as you are in the US sky.

However, problems can arrive when you have already landed and have deboarded the airplane. It is common at most U.S airports to conduct a body screening to check the presence of drugs in your body.

While the consumption of Delta 9 THC is entirely legal in the country, the problem lies with the screening tests, which usually refuse to differentiate between the:

● Traces of Delta 9 THC

and

● The traces of Marijuana and Hemp

If you are caught and the screening test faltered, explanations, justifications, and even quoting the law might not come in handy for you. Hence, it is best to avoid the consumption of Delta 9 THC products while traveling.

How Does Delta 9 THC Help You In Becoming Medically Fit and Satisfied?

Delta 9 THC is a cannabinoid that has proven to improve a person’s mental and physical health when consumed in prescribed quantities. Being a psychoactive substance, it is famous for its quick onset and the creation of euphoric effects in human beings.

Let us explore some of the best uses of Delta 9 THC with complete medical rationale:

Delta 9 THC Improves the Sleep-Wake Cycle As per a study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), an adult more than 18 years old needs to sleep at least 7 hours a day. The reason is simple, decreased brain power to store & recall memories and remember the different events.

This primarily happens because of our incapability to eliminate the dangerous amyloid plaques (often known as misfolded proteins) that are often attributed as one of the significant factors behind Alzheimer's disease.

Hence, if you cannot sleep well or have an inconsistent sleep pattern, then it is high time that you resorted to Delta 9 THC. It can not only slow down the speed of your eyeballs (known as rapid eye syndrome) but also normalizes your circadian rhythm.

Hence, it can be said that a good night’s sleep is just a gummy away!
Delta 9 THC Ends Your Phase of Depression

It is common for humans to go into depression and resort to isolation, loss of interest, and immense monotony.

If you are looking for quick and cheap way of seeking pleasure and bliss, Delta 9 THC is here to help you out. By attaching itself to the CB1 receptors present in our Central Nervous System, it gains the ability to stimulate our central nervous system (CNS).

Post this, it signals the release of an extra amount of dopamine, a neurotransmitter responsible for producing the feelings of euphoria and the so-called “high.”

It certainly takes you out of your depression and makes you feel satisfied, confident, and, more importantly, happy.
Delta 9 THC Improves Your Focus and Attention

Concentration is a gift! It makes you think better and enables you to form logical arguments with an extended ability to link the different aspects.

Most humans cannot concentrate due to their inability to control their thought process, or we can say the rapid movement of neurons.

Delta 9 THC, being an anticonvulsant agent, can slow down the process of movement of neurons so much that you can concentrate and focus in a more enhanced fashion.

PH now has 9 active crew change hubs as Zamboanga, Iloilo, and Palawan hubs open to receive seafarers

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Pursuant to the order given by Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Art Tugade to establish more crew change hubs across the country, three more crew change hubs became operational in the ports of Zamboanga, Iloilo and in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The new crew change hubs were activated on March 14, March 21 and April 8, 2022, respectively. The DOTr Maritime Sector led the opening of the new crew change hubs, comprised of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), the Office of Transportation Security (OTS), and the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), together with other concerned government agencies.

With the additional crew change hubs, the Philippines now has 9 active crew change hubs joining the Manila South Harbor, Port Capinpin in Orion, Bataan, Sasa Wharf in Davao, and Batangas, under the PPA. The other two crew change hubs are located in Subic and Cebu.

The country introduced the crew change hubs to process the documents needed to facilitate the movement of both on-signers and off-signers amid the global pandemic, recognizing the vital contribution of seafarers to the country’s economy.

The establishment of crew change hubs across the country is part of the measures adopted to keep maritime operations ongoing despite the strict health protocols being enforced amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The crew change hubs are staffed by the following government agencies: the DOTr and its attached agencies: Office for Transportation Security (OTS), Cebu Port Authority (CPA), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), the Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), the Bureau of Customs (BOC), Bureau of Immigration (BI), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Overseas Workers Welfare Organization (OWWA), the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), and by the various provincial and local government units.

Transportation Secretary Art Tugade welcomed the activation of the new crew change hubs while stressing that the DOTr Maritime Sector and the other involved government agencies remain firm in their commitment to make crew changes as efficient as possible while upholding the health and safety of seafarers, especially Filipino mariners.

"It takes a whole maritime approach to make crew changes possible in the country. The various government agencies and the stakeholders that are involved remain firm in their strong and active participation to ensure the continuous operation of these crew change hubs, for our maritime industry champions: our Filipino seafarers,” Secretary Tugade said.

SSS asks members, employers to keep online login details to themselves

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Social Security System (SSS) President and CEO Michael G. Regino today urged members, pensioners, and employers of the state-pension fund to secure their login credentials on the My.SSS portal and other personal information to protect their accounts from fraudulent transactions.

Regino issued the reminder following several complaints from SSS members that their accounts with the My.SSS were being subjected to fraudulent transactions perpetuated by scammers and other unscrupulous persons.

One of the reasons why such fraudulent transactions occur, SSS insiders noted, was the tendency of some members to share their login credentials with unauthorized persons. These login information, Regino noted, should be kept confidential by accountholders to protect themselves from scammers.

Regino likened the SSS login credentials to the Personal Identification Number (PIN) that bank depositors use to access their accounts at the Automated Teller Machines (ATM). An ATM card PIN is a multi-digit number required at bank ATMs for carrying out transactions and is initially provided by the banks. This PIN can be reset or changed to a new PIN by the card owner but is kept as a strictly confidential information by the user.

“We have asked our stakeholders not to share their usernames, passwords, and other login details on their My.SSS accounts to unauthorized individuals. Giving your username and password to another person is like sharing your ATM PIN,” Regino said. “Anyone with this information could use your My.SSS account to avail of monetary benefits without your authorization.”

The SSS chief cited a case wherein a member sought the assistance of another person while trying to create and access his My.SSS account on the Internet. It turned out that the person from whom the SSS member sought for help is a fixer and scammer who later drew a salary loan from the account without his knowledge.

Regino also advised members not to entertain unofficial online groups in various platforms, like Facebook, that allegedly offer easier access to SSS online accounts and provided technical assistance for a fee to loan-seekers.

“We do not recognize these unofficial online groups, even those found on Facebook. We consider them illegal, and they cannot facilitate SSS transactions on behalf of our members,” Regino said.

He added that online transactions and services offered by the SSS portals are free, except when a member is requesting for a replacement of the Unified Multi-purpose ID Card (UMID), which carries a minimal fee.

Regino said members may visit the E-center in local branches and they will be assisted by SSS employees in their online transactions. “All our branches have an E-center containing several computers connected to the Internet. We have employees stationed there who are ready to help our members in creating and accessing their My.SSS account as well as guide them navigating and using the online portal for their transactions.”

Regino said the SSS management also regularly update its online facilities, such as the My.SSS Portal and SSS Mobile App, to better serve its members. In 2021, the Mobile App was redesigned to make it more user-friendly and easier for members to navigate and conduct their online transactions through mobile phone facilities.

He also reminded members, pensioners, and employers that SSS cannot be held accountable for fraudulent transactions once a member connives with a fixer.

Under Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, and Republic Act 11199, or the Social Security Act of 2018, make it illegal for members to engage the services of fixers.

SSS works closely with law enforcement agencies to curb the illegal activities of fixers. “We are determined to file charges against them who are taking advantage of our members and employers,” Regino concluded.

They may report these fixers or scammers to the Special Investigation Department (SID) through e-mail at fid@sss.gov.ph or at (02) 8924-7370.

Filipino Mountain Climbers Unveil Pink Flag Atop Africa’s Highest Mountain

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Faced with icy winds up to 20 degrees below zero, six Filipino mountain climbers unveiled pink flags and banners to show their support for presidential candidate Leni Robredo and vice-presidential candidate Kiko Pangilinan.

Team leader Rofil Sheldon Magto and climbers Yelena Nina Magto, Andrei Nikolai Magto, Grace Feraer, Vanessa del Rosario and Gregg Yan endured a week-long 70 kilometer trek through alpine and sub-zero conditions to reach the highest point in Africa, the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro at 19,341 feet (5,895 MASL or meters above sea level).

The Filipinos proudly waved the Philippine flag and a pink flag, along with banners bearing the text Gobyernong Tapat, Aahon Lahat at 5895 MASLGusto Namin High Altitude, Hindi Yung May Attitude, and Mountaineers for Leni. Philippine presidential elections shall take place on May 9th 2022.

“It was not an easy feat for average Filipino climbers like us. We persevered despite the odds because we know that we are not only representing our country but also showing the world that our individual choices and actions, when made collectively, will have a positive and lasting impact for years to come,” said Rofil Sheldon Magto.

Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, East Africa and is the highest mountain on the African continent. It is one of the world’s Seven Summits, pertaining to the highest mountains per continent.

The other Seven Summits include Mount Everest in Asia, Mount Aconcagua in South America, Mount Denali in North America, Mount Elbrus in Europe, Vinson Massif in Antarctica and Mount Kosciuszko in Australia. So far, only two Filipinos – Romi Garduce and Carina Dayondon – have been able to complete all Seven Summits.

UP student makes film campus cut in Italy

Wazzup Pilipinas!

A creative writing student from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman has been officially selected one of ten successful candidates to the Far East Film Festival (FEFF) Campus at Udine, Italy.

Eunice Joyce Helera, a BA Malikhaing Pagsulat sa Filipino (Creative Writing in Filipino) major from the UP Departamento ng Filipino at Panitikan ng Pilipinas, is the only Filipino to qualify this year for the FEFF’s prestigious education program for aspiring cultural reporters and film critics from Europe and Asia.

For the first time in two years, the FEFF is conducting the school of journalism as an onsite event for the students to meet and learn from directors, critics, curators, producers, and other film professionals.

“I wanted to improve my writing and how I view films,” Helera revealed her reason to join the FEFF Campus. “I have always been insecure about my writing, my interpretations, and how I construct my reviews. Instead of hiding away and giving up, I've always tried to find opportunities where I can learn,” she added.

Mathew Scott, one of the FEFF campus coordinators and her mentor for a short course on Asian Cinema Education under the Five Flavours Film Festival (Warsaw, Poland), encouraged her to join the program.

Helera, who is still in Italy as of presstime, feels exhausted but she relishes the unique experience of attending the FEFF Campus. “I have Cine Sundays to thank for. Being a moderator in the community, especially when I have to fill in at the last minute, has trained me to converse and create questions,” the young film buff said, referring to the online film community established by director Dan Villegas.

“The sessions we’ve had throughout are a good briefer to know all fields of the industry and that's how it has helped me so far now that I am immersed and seeing these people up close. The same way, the diversity of films that we analyze through Zoom, somehow adds to our knowledge of the different genres, that gives me that familiarity of structure, for the films being shown in this year's film selection,” one of the Cine Sundays core team members shared about the experience she gained from the program.

Helera, whose “love for film is rooted in her love of discovering the world,” is also part of the UP Cinema Arts Society or UP CAST. She is currently a film criticism fellow for UP Cinema’s Pelikolektibo. Last year, she became a festival curatorial fellow for Movies that Matter’s Cinema Without Borders (Netherlands).

The other selected aspiring journalists are Elizabeth Alpaidze (Georgia), Amarsanaa Battulga (Mongolia), Greta Elettra Broms (Sweden), Veronica Calienno (Italy), Eunha Lim (South Korea), Harry Robinson (United Kingdom), Jolie Fan Yuxuan (Singapore), Mariona Borrull Zapata (Spain), and Zhu Zijiao (China).

FEFF festival director Sabrina Baracetti said that they are “thrilled to have FEFF back fully live in Udine to once again welcome guests from around the world – and that includes our Campus family.”

“We were impressed with the high standard of diverse applicants and the obvious passion they showed for Asian cinema and are proud that we are able to forge these connections between film lovers everywhere, thanks to the many Campus supporters,” Baracetti added.

Selected attendees will have direct access to the FEFF Talks series of seminars and guest appearances. Since the “business of film” is high on the agenda for this year, they are also expected to gain insight into the inner workings of the industry through FEFF’s Focus Asia and the 13th Ties That Bind Workshop.
