Wazzup Pilipinas!
We all have friends, right? But not all of our friends will stay by our side all the times. Some of them may just use us for their own benefit and after they used you, they'll just leave you already. Yes, I have experienced that. But it's not my loss anyway. That's why I'm thankful that I have met true friends.
I have both Filipino and Malaysian friends. I met my Malaysian friends in an exchange program held last November 12-15, 2013. My new found friends are Anis and Seha. They are from Sekolah Menengah Sains Tuanku Syed Putra. It is a science high school in Malaysia.
I have never thought that they are as vain as me and my friends are. We took pictures with each other. Even though we only had a short period of time to be with each other we still had fun! We really enjoyed each other's company.

But when our sensei said that we should say our final goodbyes, we felt really sad. Some of us even cried. We will surely going to miss them (well I miss them already). But they really can't stay too long here in the Philippines. Even though it's hard, we still said our goodbyes to them. We hugged them before going back to our room.
It does not mean that I will forget my friends in PCSHS just because I met new friends. They will forever remain in my heart and I will treasure them forever :)
We should value and love our friends just like how we value and love our family. Friends are easy to find. But TRUE FRIENDS are hard to find. We should thank God for giving us loving friends who will stay by our side no matter what happens.

It’s really a great opportunity to have a friend from other countries and I bet you’re really lucky to have not just one but many Malaysian friends. I know five days or less are really not enough to know one another more or deeper but we should also learn how to treasure every moment with them because everything has an ending :)
ReplyDeleteTruly Great Friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and hard to forget. We must treasure our friends and every moment with them. Friendship needs to be treasured and Cherished. For me, Distance means so little when someone means so much. Even if the day you said your goodbyes to them, Just keep them in your heart and They'll stay there forever and that's the Real meaning of Friendship. "No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth."
ReplyDeleteI bet you guys had a really great time. And it's good to hear that you found friends from a foreign country. Though they returned to their hometown, it would be a great thing to stay connected with them. You guys could meet again, though not today, but I'm sure about it. Good luck! :)
ReplyDelete" "A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself" -My Dear Valentine " this quote is true. A true friend should accept you for what you are. they should accept what crazy things you can do and what kind of person you are. True friends are really hard to find. but one thing is for sure, when you find your true friend, they will not leave you.
