Nasugbu, Batangas : Blessed with Awesome Beaches

Wazzup Pilipinas!

All of us love summer, it's the most relaxing part of the year where we can do whatever we want. We can forget everything that has stressed us and we can go anywhere, anytime. We feel almost perfect as the sun shines, the breeze blows and the ocean sings. And of course we can really enjoy it when we are with our family or friends.

Last summer my family and I went to Nasugbu, Batangas.  They decided for us to go and have a break there because it's near the place where my father works. It's  an almost-paradise place and the view was really breath-taking.

Nasugbu is bounded on the north by the municipalities of Maragondon, Magallanes and Alfonso of the province of Cavite; on the east by the Batangas municipalities of Laurel, Calaca and Balayan; on the south by the Batangas municipalities of Lian and Tuy;  and on the west by the South China Sea.

Nasugbu prides itself in having some of the Philippines' finest beaches. Blessed with clear blue waters, coves and white sands are Ampay, Baklas Point, Bamboo, Jamilo Cove, Maya-Maya, Natipuan, Pinamaltakan, Pinagdakutan, Punta Buri, Punta Fuego, Taytayeng Munti, Tali and White Sands.

Resorts along the shore, among them the luxurious White Cove Hotel and Resort, provide comfortable accomodations and dining facilities. White Cove is being developed into an upscale vacation community and a world-class destination for high-end local and foreign tourists. It features hotel and residential condominium units with a spectacular view of the sand and the sea. The hotel will have a banquet hall and a convention center, among others. It is envisioned to cater to both local and international leisure and convention markets.

Some resorts offer a wide range of watersports. The cove gardens of Maya-Maya will surely delight diving enthusiasts. With a variety of colorful marine life, it is one of the Philippines' best dive sites. The resorts along Apacible Boulevard are favored by Nasugbueños for relaxation or watching the setting sun which produces a dazzling tapestry of orangey and reddish hues. The boulevard experienced a boom in the 1980's when Nasugbu businessman John Ilao put up Johndel Beach Resort. Others followed suit and now there are a variety of facilities catering to a range of budgets.

Among the boulevard's notable resorts are Mariner's Beach Resort, Alix Beach Resort, Costa Briza Lanai, Esther's Beach Resort, Feast of the Tabernacle Beach Resort, Fiesta 2000 Resort and Restaurant, Freddie Reyes Beach Resort, La Alpae Beach Resort, La Carleo Beach Resort and Restaurant, Maligaya Beach Resort, Marlou Beach Resort, Maryland Beach Resort, Nayon Sa Villa Rebekah Resort & Restaurant, South Bay Breeze Resort, Shorebirds Beach Resort, and Vitug Beach Resort.

Several bus services provide transportation to and from Nasugbu. Jeepneys from Tagaytay City also enter and leave the town at a scheduled time. Within the town, tricycles are the main mode of transport.

The local government is pushing for the cityhood of the town, which would pave the way to make it more industrialised and developed.

During summer season, resorts in Nasugbu is also a shooting location for comedy programs of certain TV stations.

My father and my nephews loves fishing so they rode on a boat  and capture fishes. We ate different kinds of seafood, it's really delicious.

We really have so much fun, as we felt the salt in the air and the sand in our hair, it makes us smile and laugh. My sisters and I used to play different games and take pictures everywhere.

As the day ends, most of us doesn't want to go back home yet. But of course we need to be home and that place. I'll never forget that summer. It's one of the awesome summer I've ever had!

  1. Hi Sherilyn! :) How much I wanted to go there. I think Nasugbu, Batangas has really awesome and breath-taking beaches. It must be as many beach goers as Boracay has. It might not be that commercial as Boracay is, it is indeed very refreshing. relaxing, and inspiring. It is a paradise. Your summer must be really awesome since you went there. Nasugbu is a perfect place for quality time with family. Might invite my family there!

  5. Another great part of obtaining classic English country towns is going out and traveling and touring through Bude, Cornwall. Sitting on the actual topside in the mouth from the Cornwall peninsula, a seaside resort of Bude is a small, quaint town of around 9,000 people. It started its life as being a harbor town, naturally enough, only later changing towards role it now plays today in Cornwall's tourist industry. Croatia natural beach

  6. There's also a great requirement for transport on the place. Once people are near Magaluf from the nearby places using various modes of transport including cars, trains, buses and flights, in addition they need local transport. https://www.magalufevents.com/
