Nestea Beach : The Coolest Summer Fest Is Here Again

The inevitable is here once more. Everyone is getting ready for their summer plans as early as now. Beaches and resorts are already hard at work on their summer outing campaigns, and the ads are a plenty already. The summer beach craze is here!

Sun, sand and sports define the typical summer but Nestlé Philippines makes the country’s hottest season everything but ordinary with the launch of the coolest beach festival in the country, NESTEA Beach. This year’s event promises to be even more fun with new innovations thrown in.

Once again, NESTEA Beach invited volleyball teams to show off their skills and vie for the NESTEA Beach Championship title.  This year’s festival promises to be much bigger, more colorful, and more exciting  with a host of lifestyle events  such as concerts, fashion shows,  beach parties featuring the hottest bands and most sought after DJs  and clean-up drives  of beaches across the country.

The 16^th season of NESTEA Beach kicks off with regional eliminations for Visayas and Mindanao on March 22 to 23 at Moalboal, Cebu followed by GMA and Luzon regional eliminations on April 5 to 6 at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. There will be a total of 128 teams composed of 64 men and 64 women, competing in two regional legs.  The 24 best teams from the eliminations will face off in Boracay for the finals on April 18 to 20 where they get the chance to win Php 100,000 in cash. 

“We’re very excited to launch the NESTEA Beach this year. The competing volleyball teams have increased from last year and that means more action-packed matches to watch out for. Even more exciting are the various side activities we prepared that can be enjoyed not only by sports fanatics, but by all the participants and spectators,” said Jedessa Leyte, Marketing Promotions and Events Manager for NESTEA Beach.

Redefining fun, NESTEA will also hold activities to preserve the pristine beaches of Boracay, NESTEA Beach Finals’ home for the past 16 years. Working with Boracay Foundation, Inc. and local government units, NESTEA Beach will hold coastal and underwater clean-ups that consumers can join. Beach preservation information materials will also be produced and given away to encourage people to keep Philippine beaches clean. In Partnership with Boracay Foundation., 100 coin banks will also be distributed in Boracay resorts and funds will go support the foundation projects.

Worry-free travel to the summer’s coolest destination

To make sure everyone, including non-volleyball players, gets to join in the fun, NESTEA is working to ensure their worry-free travel to the NESTEA Beach events. For the first time, NESTEA Beach will be working together with Travel Factor, the country’s leading travel adventure group that advocates the use of local transportation and affordable accommodations in experiencing new places. In collaboration with NESTEA Beach, Travel Factor will provide affordable packages to those who wish to attend the 16th NESTEA Beach events. Three (3) travel packages will be available: Moalboal, Cebu; Laiya, Batangas; and Caticlan, Boracay. Moreover, NESTEA is also proud to tie-up with Department of Tourism’s (DOT) It’s More Fun in the Philippines campaign through its Summer themed NESTEA Pitchers that highlights the beautiful beach destinations in the Philippines. 

Home of cool music and best beach parties

Series of cool, fun parties featuring the hottest DJs in the Metro await the NESTEA Beach goers in Boracay starting off with Jam Illumina Party at Summer Place featuring DJ Elmer Dado on April 18, Play FM Bass & Island Rhythm at Club Epic on April 19, RX Summer Fling at Club Epic on April 20 and the most awaited 16^th NESTEA Beach Victory Party at Club Paraw on April 20, 6:00 PM onwards. 

Summer officially opens with NESTEA Beach

Indeed, NESTEA Beach has become an iconic summer beach event —the perfect time to enjoy the refreshingly healthy, light and cool experience that only NESTEA can bring. Summer officially opens with the first leg of NESTEA Beach at HK Resort in Moalboal, Cebu on March 22 to 23.
