Finding herself sticking out like a sore thumb in a bevy of shiny, seemingly perfect and ultra trendy mommies, Jill sees the world around her through a different lens.

The comedy satire is based on her novel published in 2007, Momzillas. It also stars Andy Buckley, Joanna Cassidy, Sean Kleier (Madam Secretary), and Abby Elliot.

This witty, tongue-in-cheek series airs every Sunday at 7:00pm.

Presidential aspirants Miriam Defensor-Santiago and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte embraced each other before the start of the ‪#‎PiliPinasDebates‬2016. Duterte later kissed Miriam's hand and also took her hand and escorted her towards the front of the stage during the group photo ops when the debate ended.

The show of mutual respect and admiration between feisty leaders Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was very apparent. I like the way they respect and credit each other!

PiliPinas Debates 2016: Knowing Our Presidential Candidates

From the first Presidential Debate of 2016 elections in Cagayan de Oro City dubbed as PiliPinas Debates 2016, we witnessed how all the presidential candidates are full of flowery words. But it's not HOW you talk about a problem. It's all about HOW you deal with it. At the end of the day, all these proposed projects are nothing but words without the necessary resources.

Grace Poe is in Pia Wurtzbach mode. Girl came prepared. I'm a little bit impressed. If she was applying for a job in a company; she would be great at the interview but the company may hesitate to hire her because of her thin portfolio. Free lunch everyday in public schools? You don't even have enough books and classrooms. Heller, Sen. Poe?!? She would have sealed the deal if she told us where the funding for all her planned programs will come from.

Jejomar Binay was emphasizing on UNDERSPENDING of the Government. He's clearly justifying his corruption of OVERPRICING for his Makati projects. Also, the definition of Political Dynasty is very clear to everyone. Why is he is trying to insinuate that there is a confusion? As per Santiago's statement, the anti-dynasty provision can be found most of all in our Constitution.

Mar Roxas is lot less like the Wharton graduate he claims and had the dirtiest mouth of them all. He may be the most qualified, but he just doesn't leave you impressed. What he said during the debate makes me wonder if he is still qualified for the position. There is truth in what he said about the two kinds of Makati, one that was made prosperous by the Ayalas, and the other one that is still poor and drug-infested. However, on his closing statement, he seems to be implying that we should vote him if we want to be like him. He has been consistent in being narcissistic. Excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity.

No one won the debate. The only awards are Best Speaker, Best Friendship Goals, Best in Advertising, & Best in Drama. That wasn't a debate, that was speed dating. Tell me your dreams, hopes and aspirations and let me see if I like you. It's a fishbowl questions, randomly selected, they prioritize in general need of all people.

It would've been a better debate if there weren't commercial breaks. Extended talk time + better debatable topics. Why are commercials longer than the debate itself?! More time for debate, less time for ads.

We should've had a drinking game while watching:take a shot everytime "daang matuwid" or "decisiveness" is mentioned. "I want to be Pres. because I want Filipinos to be free to dream. I want them to have the kind of life I lead." says Mar Roxas

Rodrigo Duterte asserts his 3 to 6 months promise to clean up Philippines by saying "I will stop drugs, crime and corruption in 3-6 months. There is so much corruption & drugs but nobody is minding this problem." Miriam Defensor-Santiago closes with "there should be academic excellence, head of class, professional excellence, walang bahid rin."

The historic presidential debate for 2016 election is PiliPinas Debates 2016 live from Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro, the promised land of Mindanao! The stage is set. A must-see as presidential race in the Philippines gets into full swing.

We are witnessing the first Presidential Debate with the five candidates. A first of three COMELEC-initiated presidential debate for the 2016 National elections. This will have 4 rounds of questions covering topics of national interest, development and poverty, peace and order and the Constitution. The two-hour presidential debates are patterned after the US Republican debates and candidates will be given one minute time cap both for their opening and closing statements.

I encourage everyone,especially the youth and first time voters, to watch critically because this debate will tell so much about the candidates, including their stand with important societal issues. It's a historic moment and a make or break moment for candidates.
