Rants Versus Rants : The Latest Craze That Surpassed the Popularity of Plants Versus Zombies

Wazzup Pilipinas!
"I keep telling myself "Don't let anybody tell you that you're doing things all wrong when you know that things are doing great for you. If you listened to the others telling you to hold back and keep a low profile, you wouldn't be enjoying the perks and benefits right now."

Yeah, there may be some hiccups along the way but that's normal for a struggling noobie whose adventure along unpredictable paths has just began. One thing for sure is that I'm headed to only one direction and on my way to a brighter future - and nobody can stop me no matter how hard they try!!!"

Ironically, those who are saying that it is not a good trait to rant online are the ones who also rant against fellow bloggers. They don't even have the guts to identify themselves and hiding behind an "Anonymous" identity.  We are not asking them to side with a fellow blogger, We are asking them to hear us out first before coming up with conclusions.

Wazzup Pilipinas was ranting against an establishment that tried to go cheap-O with bloggers, but there's this group of bloggers that are now ranting against Wazzup Pilipinas, and also trying to humiliate the bloggers associated with the blog or community. We must announce that the bloggers invited to the event had no knowledge of any of the arrangement between Wazzup Pilipinas and the owners of the establishment. These bloggers should not be dragged along with the issue.

Globe: Tacloban No Longer Isolated, Mobile Signal Up In 1 Cellsite, Restoration In Visayas Ongoing

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Libreng Tawag in 3 sites in Iloilo now up

Globe Telecom was able to reconnect the province of Tacloban with the rest of the world with 1 cellsite serving critical communication requirements of the local government units and agencies involved in disaster response and coordination efforts. The temporary site was put up near Hotel Alejandro along Paterno St. in Tacloban. Tacloban was among the hardest hit provinces of Typhoon Yolanda and the last isolated area where Globe mobile signals were fully disrupted.

Globe said that restoration efforts are being accelerated in the Visayas region with the assistance of government units like the Phil. Air Force and the Phil. Navy who lent assistance in providing transport requirements for heavy network equipment that are being airlifted or shipped to critical sites including Tacloban.

Around 26 sites from Calbayog, Samar to northern Samar have also been repaired and brought back to operations. Of the total sites affected including those in southern Luzon and Mindanao, 471 sites, or 30% of total affected sites have already been restored. In the Visayas region, close to 20% of all 2G/3G sites affected have been restored.

World Pneumonia Day by the Department of Health

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Pneumonia is indeed a deadly serious disease that has claimed the lives of many individuals, especially children. With their weak immune system and frail bodies, they become easily susceptible to the disease.

Penumonia has become the number 1 killer of children under the age of five - even  claimed more lives than AIDS, tubercolosis, and malaria combined.

They say that many of these children do not even reach the age of five or their 5th birthday.

It is so sad that pneumonia is preventable yet many still die form the disease.

We were invited to join the movement against Pneumonia at the World Pneumonia Day event held at the Summit Ridge hotel in Tagaytay city.

Enjoy Christmas Shopping Minus The Rush at Tutuban Center

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Funny that as early as August, Christmas tunes already occupy significant airtime among radio stations—perhaps even on TV—that signal the start of arguably the world’s longest Christmas celebration.

The spirit of giving also comes into its full vitality as gift lists are already written, and you’ll know it’s the “ber-months” once hordes of bargain hunters pack the metro’s shopping centers just to buy them.

Giving something unique for Christmas has always been everyone’s dilemma. While most people run out of ideas, they sometimes resort to buying the same items in bulk just to have gifts to give away. But that can be avoided through early foresight and careful planning to avoid the chaotic Christmas shopping rush.

Mulan from Kids Acts Philippines

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The story of Mulan, a popular Chinese heroine, comes from an old Chinese folktale entitled “The Ballad of Mulan”. Originally a poem – Hua Mulan’s story has been adapted into a number of different versions over the years.

This year, Kids Acts Philippines will stage its own take on the ballad as the season offering to all schools. Fearless and determined, Mulan’s story starts out as China is facing the threat of the Huns. The Emperor seeks out the help of the men of different families to fight in battle.

Former military man and Mulan’s father is among those chosen. Too old and sick to participate but also too honourable to walk away from the duty. Mulan’s father and his family are faced with the dilemma of being unable to send someone in his place. Without a male member who is old enough to fight, Mulan steps forward to serve in the army in his place.

Miss Philippines Ariella Arida Should Be Miss Universe

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Miss Philippines Ariella Arida as 3rd Runner Up?

Ariella Arida should have been crowned instead of Miss Venezuela, because she gave the most intelligent final answer, and had the most interesting life story of strength and ambition.

"The judges seem to be biased and the competition seems rigged. I sincerely hope that's not true. Mr. Donald Trump, the ball is in your court." - Spanky or Oprah or whoever really said it.

"This is a well-known fact. they're all rigged. That's how the Donald wants it."- Gomer Coronel

"Well, Donald Trump prefers Latinas on the first place. Haisstt... Anyways, Miss Universe is made to promote a swimsuit not world peace." - Paolo Gaborni

:) Happy?
