Epson treats their media friends, and now for the first time including their "new media" or blogger friends to an out of town surfing challenge at Guiuan Islands of Samar. The fourth of an annual event finally has bloggers joining a fun and thrilling escapade with traditional media from newspapers and magazines, plus it was even captured on video with the help of some videographers from Camera Geek TV.

Starting off with a flight to Tacloban, Leyte, the adventure dubbed as Fusion 4 begins, and hopefully never ends as everyone kept in touch on Facebook to share their proud photos of the event including the pictures from Karlo N.B. Samson of Travelomo.com.

My blogger friends and I at the Circle Hostel in San Juan, La Union really had a great fun time at the hostel with our hosts touring us all over La Union at other fun places mentioned above including the Happy Tummy restaurant where we enjoyed Halo-Halo Special plus other sweet treats. Just be sure to ask them to hold the sugar if you don't want your desserts to be too sweet.

Superman fans unite! Schick razor has come up with a special edition Superman-marked packs as Man of Steel hits the big screen on June 12. 

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures brings us Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, under the direction of Zack Snyder. Man of Steel is produced by Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer from a story by Goyer and Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster and published by DC Entertainment. Thomas Tull, Lloyd Phillips and Jon Peters are serving as executive producers. Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Syncopy Production, a Zack Snyder Film, MAN Man of Steel. The film will be released in 3D and 2D in select theaters and IMAX beginning June 12, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

DOTC Seals Agreement for State-of-the-Art Aviation Safety Systems by 2015

An agreement paving the way for a world-class aviation system in the Philippines has been closed by the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), ensuring the availability of CNS/ATM (Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance/Air Traffic Management) Systems within two-and-a-half years.

Under a Contract Amendment signed last week between the DOTC and the Sumitomo-Thales Joint Venture, the latter will immediately restart the construction of an air traffic management building and the supply of various components such as automation equipment and terminal radars, to enable the use of the satellite technology-based system.
