10 Bottles of Makapuno - PuroMakapuno from PhilHybrid!

Being true to their word, PhilHybrid gave me 10 500 grams bottles of their yummy makapuno or glutinous coconut meat. Truly 100% pure! Makapuno, water and sugar only!

Immediately consumed two bottles that night because my kids really loved them on sandwiches (tasty bread, "monay" or "pandesal")or just by itself!

The Asus Incredible Launch

Asus launched its Windows 8 compatible devices today, November 6, 2012, to the media people at the R Space venue in Makati at around noon. The event was dubbed as In Search of Incredible!

We were really impressed with the specs and price with the lowest being Php 20, 995, though a couple of them maybe too pricey for many consumers but still fairly priced if compared with the competitors.

Tekkie Tekkie Muna (this seems like an ordinary launch, but hey they did say they wanted to focus on the products rather than celebrities and fireworks), the brands are now revealing to the public their new devices after the October 30 launch of Windows 8.

A few officials from the respective concerned parties like Asus and Microsoft were there to grace the event and speak their words of wisdom, and encouraged everyone to try out the new devices first hand. I especially loved the VivoTab series laptop convertible to tablet devices, as well as the Taichi model which has display capability even at the top lid.

I will update this blog once I get their complete and accurate names. I just wanted to be among the first to share with your the event.

It was really an incredible launch...no bells and whistles or fireworks like other launches...They simply concentrated on the power and reasonable price of their products to attract our attention.

Our very charming host for that day...Made me smile a lot during the launch. Her beauty was strikingly hot! Later I heard that her name was Thistle Guevarra, model and reporter, among many others.

They gave away one VivoTab to a lucky raffle winner....Wow! See that she's preggie...must be really lucky to be carrying a child.

Chef's Noodle Take Out : Enjoy to the Max!

I had another reason to be there at the same building where Chef's Noodle Annapolis, Greenhills branch was located so I decided to get some take out as my pasalubong to my family.

The smell of the take-out food was a pleasant mix of aroma and spices! Love the taste! Love the presentation! Even in its take-out package it was packed neat and appetizing.

My "She's Only Sixteen" Music Video

My home-made amateur music video inspired by the new alternative rock band "She's Only Sixteen."

I took their video during a press/media launch but the accompanying sounds were not that good so I experimented by putting in a different audio ( Roll The Dice) from their self-titled debut album.

Other songs in their album are Amygdala, Mr. Schemer, Dying to Meet You, plus an acoustic version of Dying to Meet You.

I know it doesn't match the video obviously from their mouth movements and from the playing of musical instruments but it gives you an idea (if you add some flashy effects, other photos, videos to spice it up, etc)...and it kept me busy somehow...hahah. Yeah, I know I'm a bit crazy...but that's what you get using a simple Windows Movie Maker, and an idle and bored mind.

SMART DevNet and WebGeek Philippines is aiming for Foursquare Hack Day Philippines to become the largest mobile app hackaton in the country.

Dubbed as “Social. Location. Mobile. Connected” with an official hashtag of #4SQHackPH, they are in search for the greatest SoLoMo app to be held at SaDoce, 12/F Smart Tower 2, 6799 Ayala Ave, Makati on December 1.

Earlier I read about this so called new drug now available in the Philippine market (well at least its popular in Visayas and Mindanao) and they're calling it "Saridon". They say it's actually priced very competitively compared to the leading brands, and quite almost near the generics price. Tekkie Tekkie Muna (SSD na talaga tayo, obsolete na talaga ang HDD), there's this tempting piece of SSD that caught my attention, priced so reasonably. Maybe I should consider trying it out and do a review once I bought it. But please do advise me if I would really be making the right choice.

How was your experience with it ?

It costs P 8,340 only. Price is very tempting. All reviews I have read say one thing in common - it combines high performance and affordable price. It can keep up with the more expensive SSD's like the Crucial M4 256 GB. It uses Toggle NAND
