Train to Busan Full Movie Clickbaits and Memes for Zombie-Loving Moviegoers

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Everyone's raving about one of the newest zombie movie "Train to Busan."

Forget about George Romero's blockbuster zombie flicks and all the rest of the movies with zombie-like infestations leading to the apocalypse. This year it's all about zombies on trains. The Koreans know how to make a zombie film, that's for sure. This is f*cking scary!

Where you among those who anticipated watching the movie? or did you watch out for leakages of the movie online?  There were so many clickbaits tempting netizens to click so they can watch the movie in full, but instead all they got were the trailers and cut-scenes, or the links leading to a site which required them to register. Lol!

Memes of the movie have surfaced as well, and of course we would find the ones pertaining to teh local Philippine scene a lot more funnier because we can relate.

While a zombie-virus breaks out in South Korea, passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan. What came into my mind is when the same scenario hits the Philippines, we would surely be unable to run. Aside from the crowded train stations (MRT and LRT), the entire length of the train rides are too short. Zombies will surely infect us all in no time.

The movie is about Sok-woo and his daughter Soo-ahn who both boarded the KTX, a fast train that shall bring them from Seoul to Busan. But right at the moment of their departure, the train station is overrun by zombies which kill the train driver and several others, while most of the passengers were unaware.

Martial Law is declared in the country as the mysterious viral outbreak pushes Korea into a state of emergency. Those on an express train to Busan soon learned of the infected within their midst. The virus outbreak in the train soon turns more passengers into zombies and all hell breaks loose. The rest of the passengers must now fight for their own survival.

By the looks of it, the train ride was the only safe place to be while the rest of the world is in a zombie apocalypse. Their only hope is to reach Busan which was said to be the only place safe from zombies.

In the Philippines, I don't think there is no place safe to run as you could never really run due to the immense population of the country. Do we even have a designated place assigned by the government where people can feel safe and secure? Unlike during floods and typhoons, the classrooms, covered courts and gyms could not protect the people from zombie attacks.

The Korean movie continues to be a huge success all over the world. The film set a record as the first Korean film of 2016 to break the audience record with over 10 million theatergoers. And it has remarkably grossed US$80,201,768 worldwide.

Netizens, especially those who have watched the movie already, couldn't stop themselves in comparing Train to Busan with Train to Taft - how we would fare if the similar incident occurred in the Philippines? Which would be spookier? Do we ever have a chance to survive if it happens at our very own Metro Rail Transit or Light Rail Transit?

Mayweather Pacquiao Memes Goes Viral As Expected

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Just like what Mike Tyson tweeted with disappointment "We waited five years for that. #Underwhelmed #MayPac"

You can't imagine the expectations we had for the fight. I even glued myself to a huge curved LED screen while the room was darkly lit just to give a cinematic effect but whoa!!! The reality sucks!
Not just because our Manny Pacquiao lost against Floyd Mayweather Jr but the fact that the fight was not remotely as explosive as a Super Saiyan battle against the other aliens. It was an exaggeration to compare it with the anime but we were expecting more of a thrilling fight between the two boxing greats.

As expected, there's bound to be lots of Mayweather Pacquiao memes to go viral after the big fight of the century between the Philippines' People's Champ and Pambansang Kamao Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao against The United States of America's and Justin Bieber lover Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr.

These will be just some of the first waves of memes to be going around the Internet so expect a lot more as people get creative with the highlights of the fight. Each group of supporters for the two fighters are also dishing out some rude memes against each other so better not be insulted that much because it has always been that way ever since.

The Vhong Navarro Case: Are We Feeding You Dirty Entertainment Rather Than Balanced Well Proportioned News?

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Damn! It's currently the blockbuster news that's still scorchingly hot due to more shocking revelations coming out from both parties involved....and also from third parties joining the bandwagon of extreme controversy. It has overshadowed all other news in the Philippines, even the privilege speech of almost namesake senator with the name of "Bong."

Vhong Navarro says it couldn't be rape since Deniece Cornejo and him already had a previous sexual relationship. Apparently, Deniece had performed oral sex on Vhong several days before the "attempted rape" broke out and created a resounding noise all over the Philippine archipelago.

The CCTV footages at Forbeswood Heights condo also seems to side with the declarations of Vhong seemingly making it strong that it was a planned and deliberate setup. Poor Cedric Lee and his minions which includes a Mixed Martial Arts expert and body-builder friend. You guys are the bad guys in this movie.

Now former MTV Philippines VJ, Kat Alano, enter the picture, and blows the story to a whole new level once again. While Alano never mentioned names in any of her posts, Twitter was immediately abuzz with speculation that she may have been a victim of Navarro’s advances. Her strong cryptic social media posts about rape believed to be in support of Deniece,  Kat is now widely believed to be a victim of Vhong 9 years ago.

Nancy Binay Proposing a Bill Against Internet Memes

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Whoah!I'm not sure if she wants to impress (being a newbie and all) or she wants to molest to get back on her detractors when she was running for a Senate seat, but this newly elected Senator is probably after the same people who made Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto's days like a living hell when the Senator was bombarded with criticisms of many forms. One of them was with a great number of memes all making a laughing stock out of the politician.

Memes, according to Wikipedia is "an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture." A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols, or practices that can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals, or other imitable phenomena. Supporters of the concept regard memes as cultural analogues to genes in that they self-replicate, mutate, and respond to selective pressures. Meanwhile, the Oxford Dictionaries, are humorous images, videos, or pieces of text that are copied and spread rapidly by Internet users.

Newly-elected Senator Nancy Binay’s proposed bill amending Republic Act 9262 may contain provisions aimed to criminalize humorous internet memes.
