Bong Go files his COC for Vice President, Duterte says he is retiring from politics

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go officially filed his candidacy for vice president under the PDP-Laban party list for the 2022 election. President Rodrigo Duterte accompanied him, who was the original nominee of the said party for the vice-presidency.

Go says "Given that Pres. Duterte decided to withdraw his acceptance of nomination, I am here to take on the challenge as the PDP’s vice presidential candidate."

Duterte says "Today I announce my retirement from politics."

President Duterte says he backed out of VP race due to 'surveys and caucuses' and 'overwhelming sentiment of the Filipino is that I am not qualified and it would be a violation of the Constitution.'

Sara Duterte-Carpio: I am not running for a national position as we both agreed only one of us will run for a national position in 2022. Sara Duterte-Carpio files COC as re-electionist for mayor in Davao City.

Rody Duterte: I am not running for VP and I will be retiring from politics after my term.

Bong Go: Runs for VP for PDP-Laban instead, says Duterte withdrew.

Sara, pasok!

Ang galing ng script ng Davao mafia.

Former senator JV Ejercito files his COC for senator

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Former senator Joseph Victor "JV" Ejercito aka Estrada seeks a return to the Senate as he files his certificate of candidacy (COC) for senator on the May 2022 polls.

JV Ejercito will use 'JV Estrada' as an alias because he says some areas especially in rural communities know him as an Estrada: 'Estrada is a brand name'

He says he will also stick to his original name since "ako lang ang Ejercito na tumakbo for a national post"

Above is a copy of JV Ejercito’s COC for Senator in the May 2022 polls. He said he is running again “against all odds.” If elected, he vowed to focus on the implementation of the laws he sponsored in the Senate.

Ejercito says he will continue to work on improving the country's health care and public infrastructure, like mass transportation—his long-time advocacies.

"Our voters deserve better choices. Our country deserves the good ones who will help achieve prosperity for all, not leaders who think only about lining their pockets with public money."

Ejercito says he feels gratified that many presidential aspirants and groups want him to be in their senatorial slate or expressed support for his bid to return to the Senate.

Ejercito says it was Senate President Tito Sotto who first included him in their senatorial slate. He also reveals being approached by the camps of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and former senator Bongbong Marcos.

"Nakakataba ng puso."

Ejercito was also said to be included in the shortlist of Pres. Duterte's senatorial candidates but it did not push through.

In his speech, Ejercito said he expects a tough fight in the 2022 polls since many prominent personalities will run.

Sana he continues to become a blogger/vlogger instead. He seems cool and less stressed when he's promoting food.

Broadcaster Raffy Tulfo files his COC for senator

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Raffy Tulfo, the top senatoriable according to the latest Pulse Asia survey files his COC for Senator.

He is now filing his certificate of candidacy (COC) for senator today at the Sofitel Harbor Garden Tents in Pasay City.

You know what's scary sa pagtakbo ni Raffy Tulfo?

He has a high chance na manalo because a lot of people think he's a goddamn hero or something.

May nakakapansin bang minsan ginagawang katatawan ni Raffy Tulfo ang nagrereklamo sa show niya. Hindi ko alam kung tama yun o hindi. Napansin ko lang.

Isn't it exploiting din? Kahit walang kwentang reklamo, pinapatulan.

For me masyado syang self-entitled!

Sa lyrics ng theme song ng program niya, hindi niya na daw kailangan maging politiko. Pero ngayon ay tumatakbo. Clown!

Ang daming matatanda na namang boboto diyan.

Can we please elect people na deserve talaga ang posisyon?

Ang funny. Most of us are laughing at the prospect of Raffy Tulfo winning next year. Pero 'yung totoo, it's possible, it might even be a done deal at this point. The guy has a huge viewer base. His brand of justice evades due process but it gets things done.

The "failures" of our legal system produced quasi-tribunals such as Tulfo's Idol in Action. After all, why would you spend hundreds of thousands of pesos, just for your case to be dismissed over technicalities, if Idol Raffy could solve it in just over an hour?

I guess this is the challenge our system has to face: As long as our system doesn't work for the people, may mga taong willing itong i-exploit to curry things in their favor. In the end, since they present themselves as problem-solvers, the masses will consider them as such.

It pains me to tweet the sentence "his brand of justice evades due process but it gets things done." It feels shitty, but it is shittier na I know what I said is correct.

Tulfo admits he was approached by the Lacson-Sotto camp as well as the Pacquiao camp. However, the broadcaster says he chose to run as an independent candidate so his loyalty would not lie with any party.

In his speech after filing his COC, Tulfo said he decided to run as an independent candidate to push for the needs of the marginalized in the Senate.

Tulfo said he is confident he will win in the 2022 polls with the support of the subscribers of his show. He said he plans to pass laws to address the needs of workers and OFWs.

Will I vote for him? No. But honestly I won't say a word about those who would vote for him. They're victims of this oppressive system, after all. They're holding on to his brand of justice, not because they want to. Most of them don't even have a choice anymore.

Tulfo is a Duterte enabler.  His party list group is part of those who voted against ABS-CBN.

Tulfo once stabbed the president at the back, loud and clear. He is more than an ingrate and more of a traitor.

Riding on the popularity of the president, was he just a queso de bola all along?

Tinawag pa niya ang mga DDS na langgaw na nakatuntong sa kalabaw. Hindi kaya siya  ang tungaw na nakatuntong sa kalabaw?

The Tulfo brothers are the USER brothers. The whole family is USER FRIENDLY!

ACT-CIS is the party list of the Tulfo Brothers. It owed its votes mainly from the OFWs and got 3 seats in congress.

The partylist second nominee, Jocelyn Pua Tulfo, btw, is the wife of Raffy Tulfo.

What's this ACT-CIS Partylist ever did for our country? From what I know, it was sold out recently.

Now, does he expect the OFWs to vote for him again? Well some OFWs will vote for him for sure, not every OFW is against him.

From 21.9Million yesterday, today it's 21.8Million subscribers and continues to go down.

Wow, ask Tulfo how does all this feel? Sad, getting lonely. This can't even compare to the pain and hurt you did to your wife, Julieta and legitimate daughter, Grendy. Your netizens are jumping ship, just like you did to Julieta and Grendy so many many years ago.

In a political arena where name recall is king, candidates with the same hybrid as Raffy Tulfo will easily salivate the perks of power. With the advent of social media and a dysfunctional justice system, you get a strategy. But still it's a NO for me.

Yeah, he’s probably helped a lot of people but, really?? There's a difference between:

1) genuinely helping people using your own resources

2) milking people's troubles for YouTube content while earning millions as some poor couples fight, cry for help, and embarrass themselves

#1 is philanthropist while #2 is a shameless opportunist.

What a joke. However you call it, politics has been a circus here.

Unfortunately, I am now saying this, we will address him as Sen. Raffy Tulfo come 2022.

Not unless we change our appeal to the masses, these kinds of candidates will win.

Kuya Kim Atienza nagpaalam na sa TV Patrol

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

The personalities, the entertainment, the icons & the culture that shaped us, are slowly fading.

Kuya Kim leaving ABSCBN, Disney Channel signing off, our favorite cartoon actors dying left and right. nakakalungkot din noh?

Kuya Kim Atienza delivers his last weather forecast on TV Patrol this Friday as he bids farewell on the network.

Kuya Kim Atienza nagpaalam na sa TV Patrol.

"For the last time, hanggang sa huling pagkakataon, ang buhay ay weather-weather lang

Hanggang sa muli, Kapamilya."

What hurts more than break-up? ICONS of ABS-CBN leaving the network.

Matanglawin and Weather Weather lang is waving for farewell. I know Kuya Kim did it for the good. He has a family to feed. But I just can't help it. This is so heartbreaking.

Kuya Kim Atienza is a huge part of my childhood. From early morning trivias, Matanglawin and weather forecast every night. It's just heartbreaking to see him say "Ang buhay ay weather-weather Lang" one last time.

You can feel how sincere he is on his farewell message. You can see how thankful he is to his second home for 17 years, ABS-CBN, to the bashers of Kuya Kim that’s LOYALTY.

Though I'm still happy for him to going to Kapuso network...

pp

New home, new shows and continue what you’ve started now as a Kapuso Kuya Kim‼️Welcome to GMA-7!

I wonder how this network loyalty by viewers started, Kapamilya kapuso or whatever. When i was growing up, televiewers watch all channels as long as they were entertained. Now, it seemed only one channel can please a televiewer. Funny!

Yah I feel you! I believe even a solid Kapuso will feel the same kung si Mike Enriquez or Jessica Soho ay lilipat ng istasyon. Kasi yon na ang nakasanayan natin. But I think nakaka refresh din tignan kung lalabas si Kuya Kim sa GMA-7. Kaya still do support him.

Are you still so mad at the people who denied the network's franchise? Dapat Lang! We should never, never forgive the Duterte administration for what they did to ABS-CBN.

Still part of the aftermath of the non-renewal of franchise. This hurts more than that actress' transfer. Hindi siya magiging Kuya Kim kung hindi dahil sa ABS-CBN, at kay Ernie Baron. Good luck sa bagong show, and thank you for giving us educational information on free TV.

ABS-CBN's statement on Kim Atienza parting ways with the network. "All the best, Kuya Kim! Forever Kapamilya."

TV Patrol will never be the same again without Kuya Kim…but like what he always says:

“Ang buhay ay weather-weather lang”

When the high tide goes out, he will be back.

Kuya Kim leaving TV Patrol gave the same feeling I had when Noli de Castro left the show when he decided to run for VP. He'll come back soon. It is not like Ernie Baron retiring and making way for Kuya Kim Atienza. That said, who will fill in those boots?

Also, the new guy needs to have a good catchphrase. "Kung walang knowledge, wapang power. Buh-bye!" by Ernie Baron is still iconic. Walang makakatapat dyan.

JUST IN: TV Patrol has found a replacement in line with Kuya Kim's departure from the network's flagship newscast program.

Everyone: “Endgame is the crossover event of the century.”

Kuya Kim and Mang Tani on 24 Oras:

But seriously, I hope, that with Kuya Kim’s departure from ABS-CBN, the company will train more journalists focused in the education and science beats. Can we quickly think of anybody who can/will replace him?

Matanglawin was a special program, perhaps the only educational tv show in free TV.

I remember a conversation back then, that the company seldom trains journalists as figures to be the next host/anchor. There are only special cases because of their following and recognizability. Maybe it’s high time they should train more people.

I know TV Patrol can still survive and will find a replacement for him soon.

A heartbreak it is but we need to move on and adapt with the changes that is bound to happen.

TV Patrol's farewell to Kuya Kim was indeed a tear-jerker.

Must be really hard to leave a network that served as home, because as they always say, in ABS-CBN, they're all treated as family. All the best, Kuya Kim Atienza!

Pharmally's Krizle Grace Mago resurfaces at the House of Representatives

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

After days of being out of reach since her bombshell admission that Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation allegedly swindled the government with expired face shields, Krizle Grace Mago resurfaced at the House of Representatives (HOR).

Mago enters protective custody of Congress after she stopped attending and responding to the Senate following her revelations.

During the Sept. 24 Senate hearing, Mago admitted to ordering Pharmally personnel to tamper with the expiration dates of face shields ordered by the government from their company.

Mago named Mohit Dargani, the company's corporate secretary and treasurer, as the one who ordered to change the certification stickers of face shields for frontliners.

Dargani denies giving the instructions.

Mago: I always follow instructions po but allow me to check our conversations. But generally, as an employee, I always follow instructions.

In a letter to Sen. Richard Gordon, House Committee on Good Govt Chairperson Mike Aglipay informs Senate Blue Ribbon Commitee (BRC) that Mago has been placed under the custody of the House.

Mago’s letter to House Speaker Lord Allan Jay Velasco requesting for protective custody. She expressed fears that her life and liberty are ‘in grave danger.’

Let's wait for the House's script to absolve Pharmally and Duterte.

For sure, they will influence Mago para bumaligtad and i-retract ang mga naunang salaysay.

Remember, nauna ng gusto palabasin ni Atty. Ferdinand Topacio na bayaran lang ang witness ni Sen. Risa Hontiveros.

Hontiveros on the House taking custody of Mago: I trust it will be a comfortable stay for her—but hopefully not too comfortable. Inter-parliamentary courtesy requires that I say nothing more.

Mahirap na nilang mabura sa isip ng mga tao yan lalo ngayon na Election season, maglalabasan talaga ng baho yan, whether they like it or not 9 months na lang sila sa pwesto. Masyado ng halatang guilty Ang Pharmally at PS-DBM. And we all know that Congress is controlled by Duterte, just as how they ganged up.on ABS-CBN.

This is getting exciting. I wonder if Mago's going to totally change her testimony and now going to drop names of Senators who she will now accuse of coercing and forcing resource persons to lie and implicate Duterte and the DBM officials to corruption?

The house investigation is on the side of the administration as seen from how they seem to even help the former PS-DBM Undersecretary Christopher Lao to get away from accountability.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mago will recant her previous statements to the senate.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime said the essence of whistleblowing can’t be “overstated” because it was the “single most important way that could bring wrongdoing to light.”

Mago is now under custody of Congress. She can be cited for contempt by the Senate BRC? The HOR cant stop her arrest, and if ever she contradicts her word in BRC, she can be charged for perjury! Please do it, senators!

Sen. Francis Pangilinan: I understand the House of Representatives will make arrangements to make her (Mago) available should the Senate BRC requests for her presence so if true, then I do not see this as a problem.

Senate President Tito Sotto on Mago now under House protective custody

"Very good. As long as she is safe. Her testimony given in the Senate is more than enough. The people have heard her already. We were concerned for her safety."

One can surmise that Mago went to the House instead of the Senate because the House Leadership is still strongly connected to the President.

I think she will speak up she will reverse everything. The Duterte faction at the HOR is known for these strategy.

The plot thickens.

WWF celebrates a decade of sustainable fisheries work in the PH with book launch

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Bangkulis: Tuna Tales from Hook to Cook follows handline tuna fishers from the Lagonoy Gulf and Mindoro Strait on a decade-long journey toward environmental sustainability.

A decade of sustainable fisheries work brings hope to the future of our seas.

The World Wide Fund for Nature launched Bangkulis: Tuna Tales from Hook to Cook, a coffee table book commemorating a decade of sustainable fisheries work in the Philippines in a virtual event held on October 1, 2021.

Set in the yellowfin tuna fisheries of the Lagonoy Gulf and Mindoro Strait, the book details the fisherfolk’s 10-year journey to environmental sustainability. The book follows small-scale fishers and how they have organized themselves toward protecting and uplifting their livelihoods.

In 2011, WWF began working with handline yellowfin tuna fishers in Lagonoy Gulf and Mindoro Strait. A Fisheries Improvement Project was launched - a multi-stakeholder program that aims for the environmental sustainability of fisheries.

A little over a decade of work has brought many wins for these fisheries, both in terms of the management of yellowfin tuna stocks and the empowerment of the handline fishers themselves.

Bangkulis: Tuna Tales from Hook to Cook presents these wins, and the effort that went into achieving them.

“Our partner fishers are at the center of this story. They are the local leaders trying to safeguard the seas they rely on, and we have had the pleasure of watching them come together, empowered, constantly learning, so that they may better take care of their fisheries,” shared WWF-Philippines Project Manager Joann Binondo.

Binondo also reminds that these yellowfin tuna fisheries have a long way to go before they can claim to be environmentally sustainable. Despite this, the fishers remain committed to improving upon their practices and exploring better ways to safeguard their seas.

“A decade of hard work has gone into improving our fisheries. It has been difficult, but we have seen what this can mean for us - a sense of stability, for those of us whose lives depend on fishing,” shared Atenogenes Reaso, a fisher and chairman of the Gulf of Lagonoy Tuna Fishers Federation, Inc.

Bangkulis: Tuna Tales from Hook to Cook will be available soon on WWF-Philippines website.

MVP Beyond the Suit: Advocacy for Tourism

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

A pause to recharge or reimagining a future that empowers Filipinos to co-build a more robust tourism industry in Batangas, Manuel V. Pangilinan (MVP) is not your conventional business leader as he strikes a balance of both endeavors.

As Chairman of the infrastructure conglomerate Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC) and other numerous companies that provide essential services, MVP stays on top of the company’s COVID-19 response in support of the government efforts. At the same time, he jumpstarts the preparedness of the Philippine economy to bounce back from the global health crisis with his vision for tourism in Batangas.

MVP leads his team to have courage in facing the future with bright prospects through the uncertainties. He does all these while he visits the pristine beauty of the Landco’s latest Leisure Tourism Estates (LTE) – the 15-hectare Calatagan South Beach, better known as CaSoBē.

“Through Landco Pacific Corp.’s latest beachside projects: CaSoBē and Club Laiya, I take pride in promoting Batangas as one of the country’s top tourist destinations. These properties are responsibly developed to preserve the cultural and natural features of the place; provide employment for locals; and give Filipinos an opportunity to recover from these unprecedented times by not just building their dream beach homes but opting to create Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that cater to the tourism market,” MVP stated.

These master planned estates are the newest projects of upscale real estate developer Landco, a subsidiary of MPIC. These developments under Landco BeachTowns are close to MVP’s heart as he foresees these lively leisure and tourism destinations in Batangas as the next big thing. The country’s answer to some of the world’s most vibrant beach side destinations: Ibiza, Spain; Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Capri, Italy.

For more than three decades, Landco made its mark in developing exclusive and luxurious properties around the country. One of its leading projects is Peninsula de Punta Fuego, a premiere luxury seaside residential community situated on the 88-hectare of pristine coastline in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Leveraging on tourism as one of the key drivers for the country’s growth when it emerges from these challenging times, Landco with the leadership of MVP, envisions a revolutionary and innovative new concept.

Landco CEO Erickson Y. Manzano supports MVP’s vision to position the LTE as thriving and inclusive seaside communities in the travel and leisure destination of Batangas, inspiring entrepreneurship and work-life harmony.

“It’s a gamechanger approach. Instead of making it exclusive, it’s open to the tourism market but remains aspirational and premium,” said Manzano. “It presents an opportunity for budding Filipino entrepreneurs or those who would like to work closer with nature. Eventually, the place will not just be a hotspot for local tourists but for in-bound travelers from abroad,” he added.

CaSoBē offers a mix of seaside residential homes, and beachside retail and commercial establishments. There’s a Retail Row, a Harbour Walk, and an Activity Block – with lot sizes ranging from 356 square meters to 890 square meters. All these lots are near the beach and paved with pedestrian streets. There’s a common area estate WIFI, 24/7 security with CCTV, a beach promenade and a hotel-inspired property management service.

It's is a haven for those who prefer more privacy and a laidback and intimate lifestyle. It is near Cape Santiago lighthouse, a golf course, Little Boracay sandbar, Star fish island and the underwater pyramid.

Located on the other side of the Batangas coastline, the 24-hectare Club Laiya features a combination of residential and commercial-ready lots in the tourist spot of San-Juan Laiya Road. It’s a choice destination for the stylish and chic leisure seekers who love to work on their tan, get into water sports and hangout in the hottest party scenes. A row of diverse resorts, restaurants and bars already dots its shores.

Two to three hours away from Metro Manila, CaSoBē and Club Laiya are both LEED-registered with Landco’s commitment for long-term environmental sustainability.

MVP attests to CaSoBē’s significance as a tourist destination and an ideal work from the beach venue in the new normal. His business calendar was filled with Zoom meetings and online conferences with a seaside view and assistance by the warm and friendly local staff.

Helmed by Landco’s Senior Consultant for Hospitality Patrick C. Gregorio, the Edge-registered Millennial Resorts Corporation (MRC) is the hospitality service provider within the LTE. MRC owns and operates unconventional accommodations: Cocoons and Crusoe Cabins, select leisure facilities: Laiya Beach Club at Club Laiya and Aquaria, a waterpark with a three-story giant slide at CaSoBē These are the tourism attractions for which the properties are known for.

Landco projects are in line with MPIC’s commitment to help achieve the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable; and strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.

For MVP, coming home to a tropical paradise in these LTE is a breeze. It’s going to be the newest trend in the travel industry.

The Pasig River is not dead, PAREx will kill it!

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

The Pasig River Expressway or PAREX may not help the environment at all as groups opposing its construction asserted that it will only worsen the urban heat in the National Capital Region.

"If we are to prevent our rivers from dying, if we are to prevent them from being killed, then we must take seriously the proposition that they are alive."

Pasig River is such a fascinating water body. It is brackish (mixture of fresh and saltwater) in nature and it can flow in 2 directions—either towards Manila Bay (wet season) or towards Laguna de Bay (dry season)—connecting and supporting two other important water bodies!

According to lexicographer Jose Villa Panganiban, “Pasig” comes from Sanskrit meaning “river flowing from one body of water to another;” what an appropriate name. There is fascinating hydrology, ecology, and heritage in the river, all of which at stake in the face of PAREX.

The city and river's name, "Pasig" is a Tagalog word which means "a river that flows into the sea" - tapos sisementuhin nila?

If they say Pasig River is dead (which I dispute), shouldn't the course of action be remediation and restoration, not further destruction?

And those who say it's just the banks that will be damaged, that doesn't actually help your case at all. River banks, floodplains, and riparian areas in general are critical to the functioning and regulation of aquatic ecosystems.

If Pasig river is dead kamusta naman ang Manila bay? Tapos may dolomite? Tapos pupuntahan ng mga tao? For mental health? Ogag talaga reasoning ng mga mokong mailusot lang yung project na hindi naman for the benefit of all Filipinos.

They could have channeled the Manila Bay dolomite fund to the Pasig river restoration instead.

Maganda pa naman ang naging proyekto ni Gina Lopez et al sa rehabilitation ng Pasig river. Eme kasi yung admin ngayon at hindi na sinuportahan yung proyekto.

There’s been several initiatives reviving Pasig River and there are indications of some success. An expressway above it will kill the river.

Pasig River is the “soul” of the old Manila and a main artery of Metro Manila. Do not kill it. Honor its history and heritage.

Itong ilog na to ang may malaking kontribusyon sa kalakalan ng Pilipinas. Dapat alagan at buhayin!

Pasig River is a living entity with a right to life - and thus we must say #NoToPAREX.

Every river system needs direct sunlight to thrive. Thus, building a highway on top of the Pasig River is not only a stupid idea, it’s murderous to the surviving ecosystem there.

Madaming paraan para maka travel pero konti lang ang paraan para ma-save ang environment. For once, let's save the river, not just ourselves.

An expressway on the Pasig River will spoil its scenic vistas, as well as ruin the quality of life of those who live beside it.

We don’t need expressways. We need more mass transit projects. We need to move away from being a car-centric country.

Bakit ba expressway ang naisip. Mas efficient ang ferry system.

What Metro Manila needs is more trees, more parks, more walkways, more bike lanes, better public transport - and a revitalized Pasig River: its once and future jewel.

They keep on building infrastructures that harms both the environment and the heritage that goes through it. Why can't they just improve traffic systems than build these projects that'll only add more fuel to the fire, and when I say fuel, I mean more cars due to demand.

Focus on green-friendly mass trasportation instead of ugly skyways all over the metro with the government’s car-centric policy that only supports the privileged.

If you happen to see the old maps of Metro Manila, there are streams and canals from Manila Bay and from Pasig River itself. These are daluyan ng tubig, these are what we call the arms of the sea. And naturally formed, if we can bring them back to balance the geological land form.

Every river system needs direct sunlight to thrive. Thus, building a highway on top of the Pasig River is not only a stupid idea, it’s murderous to the surviving ecosystem there.

An expressway on the Pasig River will spoil its scenic vistas, as well as ruin the quality of life of those who live beside it.

We say #NoToPAREX - it will benefit neither the environment nor the people, and likely harm both.

This is Skyway Stage 3 passing through Pasig River. It gives us a preview of the Pasig River Expressway (PAREX), a ₱95-B project from SMC which was hastily approved by gov’t in just 72 days; its groundbreaking was held 3 days after.

Almost 5,000 have signed a Change.org petition to stop the project.

FDCP Champions ‘Edutainment’ with Over 100 Curated Titles Streaming on FDCP Channel

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

To provide significant films that inspire, enrich and entertain in one platform, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is dropping a total of 104 films on the FDCP Channel platform starting September 30.

“FDCP Channel 100” aims to serve as an easy-to-use streaming platform through a thematic curation of films and audiovisual content according to various educational topics. For a monthly subscription of only PHP 99, students, film enthusiasts, and filmmakers will be able to access hard-to-find local films on the FDCP Channel.

“Streaming platforms everywhere are continuously emerging, overwhelming us with various content. However, there is a gap in streaming platforms for academic use and by categorizing the films by themes such as cultural, heritage and sociodrama, it’ll be more efficient for our audiences to pick out local films for educational and entertainment purposes,” said FDCP Chairperson and CEO Liza Diño.

There are 104 titles available for subscription, 77 new titles added to the 27 existing titles on the FDCP Channel.

For more information and inquiries, visit www.facebook.com/fdcpchannel. To view its subscription plans, visit fdcpchannel.ph.
