Leng Altura's scandal spreads online

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

If you are part of the population asking "pa send" for Leng's scandal, please know that you're trash. A big pile of it.

Puro about kay Leng laman ng newsfeed ko and all i can see is people (yes, boys and girls) commenting "pabulong" , "pasend"

They're making memes out of Leng's scandal.

Seriously. What the fuck. I just unfriended several people.

I don't really know Leng but it irks me how people are feasting on her scandal. Kadiri kayo!, No one literally has the right to leak her videos without her consent, against sa batas yan. Sana aware kayo.

Not the same people who promotes women empowerment pero sige pa send. Stop spreading Leng Altura's scandal that's non-consensual prn and defamation of character. Girls who keeps spreading and asking for leng altura's scandal, y'all disgusting. clearly, its against R.A. no. 9995.

Isn’t it ironic knowing the fact that these girls had been advocating “women empowerment” when their minor idol’s nudes went viral yet has been feasting abt leng’s scandal? Shame on these hypocrites!

Every human person and guarantees full respect for human rights. Toward this end, the State shall penalize acts that would destroy the honor, dignity and integrity of a person.

The penalty of imprisonment of not less that three (3) years but not more than seven (7) years and a fine of not less than One hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) but not more than Five hundred thousand pesos (P500,000.00).

It looks dumb how some people are seeking for love and attention pero nagle-leak and hinahanap din ang leaked scandal video ni Leng. Wow the duality. Anyway, I hope you all are aware.

To those who are still spreading the video about Leng, and those who are saying they want to see it and keeps bothering everyone to send it to them, please read this.

Republic act No. 9995 section 4 states that:

Minsan napapaisip ako Kung dapat ba maging proud na naging Pinoy ako.

Halatang hindi si Leng.  May tattoo po si Leng sa likod yung nasa video ay wala.   Mga utak ipis kayo.

#DuterteDuwag backs out of his debate dare to Justice Carpio

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Apparently the dog can't walk the talk.

#DuterteDuwag tops Twitter's trending list in the Philippines on Friday, May 7, as President Duterte backs out of a debate with retired Supreme Court justice Antonio Carpio.

This comes after the President himself challenged Carpio to a debate on the West Philippine Sea.

Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque says he will debate with retired justice Antonio Carpio, instead of President Rodrigo Duterte.

So, you instigate a debate and back out from it AND THEN have someone who’s as incompetent as you are to replace you....

Am I watching a badly written sitcom?

Nakakahiya! Sobrang areas bayag na masasabi ang pag-atras ni Duterte sa kanyang sariling hamon. Wala na siyang pwedeng ipagyabang after this.

#DuterteDuwag Backs out of debate coz he followed the Cabinet’s Advice against hum participating in the debate! Wait? Sino ba nag hamon? Ulol talaga itong hayop na Ito.

Only in the Philippines, where you can back out of a debate you initiated.

Duwag is an understatement. Sobrang kahihiyan Ito. Mga DDS ay lubusang nahiya sa ginawang kanilang pwesidente.

Even in debate #DuterteDuwag. What a way to embarrass yourself in public.

Unfortunately, wala talagang credibility and a liar.  Carpio would have eaten the monster alive....and the monster would have went back home to Davao to hide under his bed.

Talawan! Coward! Duterte dares, then slinks away. No surprise, he’s a sissy. Just say you’re scared and go  lick Chinese asses which is the only thing this monster is good at.

In other words, the Palace saving Duterte's ass as they know his mouth is only a powder barrel of defamatory remarks.

He will not survive the debate. Lamon kung lamon.

Former UP debate coach turned devil and epal about to take his amo's place? Roque, it ain't your place. Roque is a professional "Tagapagsinungaling ng Panggulo." He is not fit to debate an honest Justice Carpio.

Feelingero si dolphin na magka level sila ni Ret. SC Senior AJ Carpio.

Justice Carpio should now designate a  law student to debate Roque... Proxy vs proxy para patas.

It is not Justice Carpio’s level to debate Roque. Feeling si spox?! Besides, everything he says can be justified later on as “unofficial?”

It is was actually a shame—the most disgusting form of shame—for an inutile President to debate on our national sovereignty, instead of simply doing the right thing—to fight for it.

But we do not expect any of that from Duterte. He’s nothing but an imperialist puppet.

Sa pag-urong ni Duterte, this famous quote from Napoleon Bonaparte comes to my mind. No wonder if current leaders of our AFP and PNP are the on the same tune regarding Hague ruling at WPS.

A “dowager” is a widow with a title or property derived from her late husband. A “duwager” is the incumbent President of the Philippines.

How can you trust someone who has no word of honor? Puro salita kulang sa gawa!

.Justice Carpio called his bluff and now Duterte's balls are nowhere to be found!!! Justice Carpio's Intellectual capacity is too far to mr. Duterte. "kayo naman, nagbibiro lamang ang ating presidenteg ugok.

#DuterteDuwag Ang teleserye ni #Duwagterte. Surprise! (Not!) At least andaming natawa.

Next: spin that Duterte was just trolling Carpio, at nauto naman daw ito... lols.

Also next: demolition job vs Carpio... 3.2.1...

Duterte is not only incompetent but is also la lying corrupt, coward & traitor.

He literally proves us correct everyday & that should be enough to make us work harder as we have a lot of things to do to make sure 2022 onwards will be a much better Philippines for everyone.

Roque and his ilk can use whatever justification they want to excuse #DuterteDuwag from engaging Carpio in a debate, but let the records show that it was Duterte himself who challenged Carpio to the said debate.

I'm not surprised at all! Also, Justice Carpio, don't waste your time on the clown.

In light of the situation, do you think Carpio would be a good candidate for President? I mean, may chance kaya na manalo siya if ever na tumakbo siya? In case na hindi tumakbo si VP.

According to the vessel’s shipping agent, MV Athens Bridge departed from India on 22 April 2021 and arrived in Haiphong, Vietnam on 01 May 2021 for the conduct of the crew’s RT-PCR test. It was later on found that out of the 21 Filipino crew members onboard, 12 of them tested positive of COVID-19.

On 06 May 2021, the PCG received a request from the vessel’s captain to execute a medical evacuation of the two (2) crew members who both needed urgent medical care. The vessel, at that time, was located 12 nautical miles west of Corregidor Island.

Upon securing clearance from the BOQ and the Department of Health (DOH), MV Athens Bridge was directed to the quarantine anchorage area designated by the OSS Port of Manila. Security is also provided by the PCG to ensure that no unauthorized vessel or banca will approach the vessel.

Early evening of the same day, BOQ doctors boarded the vessel to assess the condition of the crew and recommended the immediate medical evacuation of two (2) crew members in critical condition.

As of press time, the crew members in critical condition have been safely evacuated and brought to the dedicated medical facility for treatment. The rest of the crew are contained in the vessel and shall be provided with needed medical supplies, including oxygen tanks, with assistance from BOQ and PCG.

The national government, through the maritime sector of the DOTr, assures that the situation and the condition of the crew members will be consistently monitored. Health and safety protocols will also be prioritized throughout the entire process.

Modernization and improvement of the Calbayog Airport

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

More room for economic growth, trade expansion and vibrant tourism await Samar province as the Department of Transportation (DOTr), together with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) continues to improve air mobility in the region with the modernization and improvement of the Calbayog Airport.
DOTr Secretary Arthur P. Tugade and CAAP Director General Jim Sydiongco led the inauguration of the development projects in Calbayog Airport today, 05 May 2021. They were joined by other transport officials, local government leaders, and airline stakeholders to witness the momentous event.

Focus of the officials’ messages during the inauguration was the benefits of the completed development projects at the Calbayog Airport which is known as the "alternative gateway" to Eastern Visayas.

The development project involves the construction of a new Passenger Terminal Building (PTB). With the completion of the project, the Calbayog Airport terminal has been transformed into a modern and improved facility, which can now accommodate 450 passengers, increasing its previous 76-passenger capacity.

Aside from the new PTB, the completed development projects in Calbayog Airport also include the widened runway, expanded apron, construction of runway end safety area (RESA), a vehicular parking area (VPA), and security fence, and drainage system.

In his speech, DOTr Secretary Tugade stressed the need to develop transport infrastructure projects, such as airports, amid the pandemic, so that every region in the country will be equipped with the necessary instrument crucial for recovery and continuous growth.

“Dapat lang na balansehin natin ‘yung tinatawag na pangangailangan ng health protocols sa pangangailangan ng paglago ng ekonomiya,” Secretary Tugade stressed.

“Ginagawa natin ang paliparan na ito, upang pagdating ng tinatawag na ‘new normal’, andiyan na ang pasilidad upang sa ganoon, ang negosyo, ang pagbiyahe ng ating mga kababayan, at ang pag-unlad ng negosyo ay nakakasa na,” Tugade added.

Meanwhile, CAAP DG Sydiongco echoes the same message, saying: “With the continued commitment of DOTr, CAAP, and the LGU, progress in the Eastern Visayas Region’s transport sector will continue to take off.”

The improvements and development of the Calbayog Airport are expected to help further boost economic activities in the entire Region VIII and promote growth not only in Samar but also in its adjacent provinces.

“I’m sure that with the much-improved Calbayog Airport, it will offer nothing short but comfort and efficiency to the traveling public. And surely, this will bring in more tourists and boost the economy of Calbayog City and the rest of the Samar,” Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino expressed.

For his part, Samar 1st District Representative Edgar Sarmiento also commended and thanked Secretary Tugade, the entire DOTr, and CAAP for giving importance and attention to the needs of Samarnons.

“They did everything, from the very start of the construction until finally to its completion, to make sure that the Samarnons will be given this very beautiful airport,” Congressman Sarmiento said.

Apart from the development projects that have been carried out in the Calbayog Airport, the DOTr also has numerous infrastructure projects in Region VIII since the Duterte administration took over in 2016.

In the Aviation Sector, 23 airport projects have been completed, including development projects in the Biliran Airport, Borongan Airport, Catarman Airport, Maasin Airport, Ormoc Airport, and Tacloban Airport. Meanwhile, 14 more airport projects are ongoing.

In the Maritime Sector, 76 commercial and social tourism port projects were completed, including the San Isidro Municipal Port, San Jose Port, San Roque Municipal Port, Allen Municipal Wharf, Albuera Port, and Villaba Municipal Port. Meanwhile, 11 more port projects are ongoing to add to the 76 port projects already completed by the DOTr and Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) from 2016 to the present.

Inauguration and inspection of completed and ongoing airport development projects in the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) in Lapu-Lapu City

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Transportation Secretary Arthur P. Tugade led the inauguration and inspection on, 5 May 2021, of completed and ongoing airport development projects in the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) in Lapu-Lapu City, in fulfillment of the government’s promise of improved air connectivity, job opportunities and tourism growth for the Visayas region.

The DOTr development projects included the MCIA Terminal 2 facilities, the soon-to-be inaugurated Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) Corporate Building, the new MCIA taxiway, and the new CAAP building. These airport projects were relentlessly pursued by the DOTr, under the leadership of Secretary Tugade, with the able support, assistance, and cooperation of the and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), under Director General Jim Sydiongco, and the MCIAA amid the pandemic.

Before the inauguration of the development projects in Cebu, the Transportation Chief also inaugurated the development projects at the Calbayog Airport in Samar.

In his speech, Secretary Tugade said he is glad to return to Cebu for the inauguration of the new MCIA taxiway. The Transportation Chief added that he will never tire of doing projects that will contribute to the happiness, comfort, and convenience of Cebuanos.

“Hindi ako napapagod at hindi ako mapapagod kung ang aking gawain ay mga programang nakakatulong sa sambayanan, programang nakakapagdulot ng ngiti sa sambayanan lalo’t higit sa mga taga Cebu. Mahalaga po sa amin ang Cebu. Mahal po ng Pangulong Duterte ang Cebu,” Tugade said.

*MCIA Terminal 2 and MCIAA Corp. Building Inspected*

Secretary Tugade, with Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Dino, first inspected the MCIA Terminal 2 Facilities then proceeded with the inspection of the MCIAA Corporate Building, which is targeted to be inaugurated on 31 July 2021.

MCIAA OIC Glen Napuli said Secretary Tugade’s visit to the MCIA Terminal 2 has boosted the morale of aviation and airport frontliners.

“Yung mga frontliners natin nandiyan for a year, nagtatrabaho, naka-PPEs, mainit yan. Namatayan na sila, nandyan pa rin. They are risking their lives. They are welcoming our OFWs with smiles. At least mapasalamatan nila si Secretary. Maraming salamat Sir, malaking bagay ‘yun sa amin,” Napuli expressed.

According to the MCIAA, airport international departures are currently integrated with the old terminal due to the pandemic. Terminal 2 is now aiding international arrival operations with swab booths and kits for RT-PCR testing and health protocol assistance.

Meanwhile, the construction of the MCIAA Corporate Building was aimed at housing more employees in a single building with better equipment and facilities. The building also promises improved services and accessibility to clients once operational before the end of 2021.

*New MCIA taxiway inaugurated*

After inspecting the MCIA Terminal 2 and the MCIAA Corp. Building, Secretary Tugade inaugurated the new MCIA taxiway, another development project under the massive ‘Build, Build, Build’ Program of the Duterte administration.

Secretary Dino, in turn, expressed his gratitude to Secretary Tugade and the entire DOTr for helping Cebu move forward amid the pandemic. He said the province badly needs the airport for it to open up and recover.

“My gratitude to our excellent and very able Secretary Tugade and his team for pushing for the early completion of this taxiway project. We appreciate you so much for loving and taking good care of Visayas. Sobrang sipag mo. I don’t know how come hindi ka napapagod. Secretary Tugade, more power to you, Sir, so we can have more projects here in the Visayas,” Dino said.

With the new and expanded taxiway, the previous maximum aircraft movement capacity was increased from 35 aircraft per hour to 40 aircraft per hour. Additionally, the previous maximum aircraft parking capacity, which was 40 aircraft slots has been increased to 50 aircraft slots.

Moreover, with an upgraded taxiway, more local jobs are expected to be generated as more employment opportunities will be opened by new locators and new concessionaires once larger aircraft are accommodated in the MCIA.

*New CAAP building inaugurated*

Arjan Bhullar: I’ve Been Ready for Brandon Vera for a Long Time

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

When Indian wrestling champion and rising heavyweight star Arjan “Singh” Bhullar came to ONE Championship in 2019, he had one goal on his mind, and that was to earn the right to challenge reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera for the belt.

After spending the past year building up to this world title opportunity and trying to make it a reality, Bhullar gets his chance the next time he steps into the Circle. Bhullar finally meets Vera in the headline bout at ONE: DANGAL, a tape delayed event from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore that airs on Saturday, 15 May.

Bhullar is excited to get his shot at ONE Championship gold, and appreciates the

“I was frustrated as this was the third time that we’ve signed the contract to fight him. So I was frustrated but you know, the whole world has to adjust because of the pandemic. And we’re no different,” Bhullar said.

“Many people are losing their lives and livelihood because of this. So, the fact that I can do it now, I’m happy about that. And it is much less a disruption compared to what other people are facing in their lives. I’m happy I'm here, and timing is everything.”

Bhullar says he is more than ready to take on his toughest test yet, given how his training has progressed over the past few months.

“Honestly, this camp has been amazing, and the growth I've made over the last year has been amazing - growths I wouldn’t have had a year ago, internally, strategically, and I think that is going to make a big difference in this fight,” Bhullar added.

Against Vera, Bhullar faces one of the most dominant world champions in the promotion.

After building his career initially in North America, Vera left the UFC in 2013, and joined ONE Championship the following year. He captured the inaugural ONE Heavyweight World Title in December 2015, and has since made multiple successful world title defenses.

Known as a fearsome striker, Vera is a nightmare matchup for anybody in the division, including Bhullar. But the Punjab native believes he’s coming into this fight with the right strategy, one that will bring him the victory.

“I think my boxing is way better than his and that’s a huge hole that I’m looking to exploit. It falls right in line with my grappling range. So, he’s going to want a slower pace, at range moving type of fight and we are going to want to be up in his face, pressing him all night and punching him and taking him down,” Bhullar said.

“But above all that, his kickboxing stands out more than anything. So we really focused on this. And his kickboxing and his kicks, his range, how he likes to operate from space, so, we will plan for that and to take all those things away as well as other tools.”

ONE: DANGAL features a host of Indian martial arts stars, and aims to showcase the very best that India has to offer. Other Indian athletes scheduled for action include atomweight phenom Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat, Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat, and Roshan Mainam.

Bhullar is excited to lead this all-star cast, and make history. If he can defeat Vera, Bhullar stands to become the first ever mixed martial arts world champion from India.

The Indian star knows what's at stake in this next test inside the Circle, and confidently says he’s been ready to realize his dream for a while now, all due respect to the champion.

“Vera, you have to give him credit. He is a very experienced fighter. He has been around for a long time and has faced the best in the sport. He has been the ONE Heavyweight World Champion for many years for a reason. He has finished everyone he’s fought. So, he’s very dangerous and he is good everywhere,” Bhullar said.

“I think I've been ready for Vera for a long time. I've been training and learning at a high level for a long time and I’m excited to show that. What he likes to do when he is up against the cage, on the ground - look at his habits. That’s the one thing, a lot of his habits and tendencies are the same for all of these years, so we were able to study a lot of that and prepare accordingly.”

Digital solutions for boosting business growth

2020 was a challenging year for businesses all over the Philippines, with a crippling months-long lockdown as one of its greatest hurdles. According to the 2020 Asia Pacific Small and Medium Business Digital Maturity study conducted by International Data Corp. (IDC), 70.6% of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the country were forced to temporarily cease operations due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The same survey also shows that 58.8% of businesses reported zero income, while 28% had revenues drop by over 30%.

As they recuperate over the coming months, investing on digital transformation could actually help companies, particularly SMEs, to meet their business goals. It has been found that digitally mature SMEs are generally more productive, and are able to report higher revenues, versus those that are slow to adapt to digitalization. In the present scenario, digital tools have also become necessary and effective means for businesses to reach consumers. These are some of the primary reasons for the development of TikTok Ads Manager, at a time when consumers are found to opt for online transactions and interactions in light of the ongoing pandemic.

The global agency, We Are Social, reports in its Digital 2021 study that Filipinos spend an average of 4 hours and 15 minutes each day on social media, a 22-minute increase from the country's Digital 2020 average. The Philippines also led the world in social media use in 2019 and 2020. Now, through TikTok Ads Manager, SMEs gain access to this large, highly engaged local community that exists online.

"We want to give brands and businesses the ability to reach millions of potential customers online in a unique way, with every single short-form video they share on TikTok. Through the platform's easy to use advertising solutions, we hope to help businesses find their authentic voice, and enable them to maximize their creative potential in order to grow and thrive, while also being able to save on advertising expenses," said Esme Lean, Head of Small and Medium Businesses, Southeast Asia - TikTok.

Math whiz clinches three-peat win at 23rd PMO

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Grade 12 student Bryce Ainsley Sanchez of Grace Christian College bested over two dozen other finalists at the 23rd Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO) held online last March 19 to 20, earning the top title for the third year in a row.

The honor was hard-earned: first runner up Steven Reyes of Saint Jude Catholic School, also a Grade 12 student, is a consistent national finalist in previous PMOs as well as a silver medalist in the International Physics Olympiad in 2018 and 2019. Meanwhile, the second runner up, Grade 10 student Raphael Dylan Dalida of Philippine Science High School – Main Campus, was the first runner up in last year’s PMO as well as a bronze medalist alongside Sanchez at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) the same year.

“Bryce’s achievement is all the more notable and exemplary given the challenges that everyone—most especially students like him and his fellow competitors—have had to face over the past year,” said DOST Science Education Institute Director Josette Biyo. “They all truly deserve to be called Filipino Olympians,” she added.

“Mathematics truly knows no bounds, and our students and competitors are a living testament to this,” enjoined Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) president Emmanuel Cabral.

The PMO is a long-standing tradition for the MSP, which has been organizing the Olympiad as an annual proving ground for some of the country’s brightest young minds for almost four decades. The competition is the Philippines’ most prestigious nationwide mathematics competition for secondary school students, who compete for the honor of representing the nation at the annual IMO.

Justice Carpio versus injustice Duterte

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Go Justice Carpio! Thank you for fighting for what is ours unlike yung isa dyan!!

Justice Carpio presented good arguments while our president sounded like an idiot mincing ad hominems and non sense. Gusto pa ng debate. Galing ng mayor ng China.

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday night said the Philippines' arbitral victory in 2016 against China's massive claims in the West Philippine Sea before the United Nations is just paper fit to be thrown in the trash.

Justice Carpio should start filing an IMPEACHMENT complaint against the current President. Duterte's treasonous actions cannot be disregarded anymore. His defense of China on the WPS row is a clear act of treason. He is choosing to side with China over the Philippines.

Justice Carpio should start filing an IMPEACHMENT complaint against the current President. Duterte's treasonous actions cannot be disregarded anymore. His defense of China on the WPS row is a clear act of treason. He is choosing to side with China over the Philippines.

Justice Carpio should accept the challenge to put Du30 where he belongs - thrash bin.

I suggest Justice Carpio must accept the challenge of the offer of President Duterte to debate the WPS issue. This will be a positive approach to lay the issue on the table and resolve once and for all.

Too many verbal exchanges on the news and internet already and we are fed up listening and reading the whinings and the blamings, an exercise in futility. The general public will surely undertand thoroughly about the issue when discussed and argued nationwide live on TV.

No other way to call it. Duterte should be IMPEACHED. Justice Carpio et al should initiate the filing and have it endorsed in Congress. They may not have the numbers but at least the people will know how those clowns and puppets in Congress will respond to the call.

It seems the word war between President Duterte and retired Supreme Court senior associate justice Antonio Carpio will not be over soon.

Let it not be over soon! Let the discussion grow louder to make people realize the emperor has no clothes (or balls ... or a jetski).

The whole nation should encourage BuangNaInutil to do his weekly rants every single day. But before that, Justice Carpio, Amba del Rosario, Trillanes, De5 should keep taunting him.

See what he just revealed last night? Imagine the secrets he'll reveal if he talks every day.

Ret. Justice Carpio would probably slaughter the inutil in a debate. Looking forward to seeing it.

Majority of that debate would probably be the President cursing and ridiculing his opponent's appearance. And if there's a live audience, a joke every now and then to elicit cheers from his loyalists.

Let the battle or debate begin...

Duterte pro-China versus Justice Carpio pro-Philippines.
