Duterte continues to defend Dolomite beach saying it's "beautiful to the eyes"

President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday night defended the multimillion-peso project that dumped crushed dolomite on a portion of Manila Bay, saying the result is beautiful.

Duterte continues to stand by the controversial dolomite white sand project in Manila Bay as he recalled the projects under his administration.

Marine scientists have earlier explained that the overlaying of sand with crushed dolomite boulders along a portion of Manila Bay will not help solve the environmental problems hounding the area.

Duterte even compared the controversial dolomite beach in Manila to beautiful women in Boracay as he defended the government's initiatives to overlay the bayside along Manila Bay with crushed dolomite.

Yown... As always ito ang argument. Hahaha. Ngayong nasa gitna tayo ng pandemya, dolomite pa din ba? Hindi ba dapat bakuna at ayuda?

Ok lang daw kahit hindi masolusyonan ang pagkalat ng covid, saka kung madami Ang walang trabaho at nagugutom. Ok lang din kung underpaid ang mga healthworkers basta maganda ang Manila Bay. Period.

The Dolomite beach is not beneficial to the ecomony, environment, people especially during this time. I'm not an expert but for sure they would tell the same. Wala na talagang good news  galing kay Duterte at the expense of wasting taxpayers' money by refilling it everytime there's a strong storm passing Manila. Definitely a waste of money.

Sabihin niya yan sa almost 4M na Pilipinong jobless, sa milyon milyong Pilipinong wala na halos makain. Pahirap siya sa mga tao. Sa halip na ibili ng vaccine o ibigay na ayuda nilustay nila sa dolomite na dinala lang ng bagyo. 32,000+ deaths na dahil sa katangahan niya! 

Lahat ng pinagtatanggol ni Duterte ay nagkakapera sila doon, ganyan din siya maka defend sa China at kay Duque di ba?

Bakit kaya yung iba mas okay na magpakatroll? Hindi maghanap ng disenteng trabaho.

Seasonal beauty with high maintenance. Parang retokada ang ganda kumbaga. Tama po ba? Why not patronize natural beauty? We have a lot. At yun ang ipromote at pagkagastusan.

He will forever be remembered for this as one of his legacies. The Dolomite, sand per sand, shall forever be associated to his administration. Unfortunately, it will be in a NEGATIVE way.

De javu of Marcos time. Hindi bale nagugutom ang mga tao, basta "beautiful in the eyes". The Manila Bay dolomite sand beach won't resurrect lives lost due to Covid.

Ang dolomite beach ay isang imeldific hypocrisy. Simbolo ng misplaced priorities ng gobyerno sa harap ng pandemya. Artificial beautification vs. Healthcare and Poverty.

Folks on 2022, make our lives beautiful and not miserable pa rin ba? Dolomite is beautiful to the eyes of the corrupt and exploitatives, PERIODT.

Pansin lang ng publiko, kapag binabatikos ang mga palpak na proyekto ng mga alipores niya, lalo niyang binubuhat at pinupuri! Kontra lagi siya sa opinyon ng publiko! 

When will he ever listen to the outcry of the public! Inaanod ang Dolomites at natatabunan pa rin ng basura mula sa mga natapong kalat sa Manila Bay at tuwing may bagyo , at dahil diyan ay kasabay inaanod din ang taxpayers money! 

Ang kailangan nating pinuno ay bukas ang isip at makatwiran mag isip. Manamayan muna bago ang sarili at malalapit sa kanya.

What is fake is fake!  What is short-term is short-term.  What is waste of money is waste of money!

Hindi niya gets!

Tongue innang dolomite na yan! Ipasemento nyo na lang, tapos lagyan ng guhit ang sahig, at magkabilaang ring....playtime!
