7 Trends to Blossom the Future of Mobile App Development in 2019

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Are you in a business of dealing with mobile apps? Whether a developer or marketer, you know a treasure-filled revenue comes with mobile apps every year.

It is needless to say that the internet has brought mobile apps in our everyday lives. There was a time when the internet was an alien concept.

However, Technology is now in the blood and brains of the humankind. Among all, the tits and bits of technology, there is nothing as quick and comfortable as mobile apps.

The world recognizes revenue of 205.4 billion U.S dollars in 2018 and predicts to reach 258.2 billion U.S dollars by 2020, says a report by Statista.

The idea of mobile app development is a backbone to a plethora of day-to-day elements of life. If we begin to track the activities from the time you wake up, they don’t seem to end even after you go back to sleep at the end of the day.

The Millennial Theory of Mobile Apps

But wait, why are on the subject of humans and mobile app relation? The reason is quite fair, to know why does the world need mobile app trends every year. (Even a minute moderation works fine).

Users of mobile apps remain loyal to you only when they see a benefit in its technology. Otherwise, the app is just another waste of mobile storage and within no time, such apps will be seen in the dumpster.

As competition scales with each passing day, smartphones have become less about making phone calls. Millennials are likely to chat, surf, video call, Snapchat, or Instagram.

The above list displays various sets of mobile apps, which shows the inclination of young minds in an App-driven world. So, in mobile app development youths can bring the rarest gem of trends.

Let us define those gems to grab a few in your pocket and spend them on creating your masterpiece application.

On-Demand Apps

Source

As kids, we used to wish for things to pop-up in front of us the moment we called out the name. Back in the time, little did we know this dream was going to turn to reality.

Among the rest of the trends in mobile app development, we have on-demand apps. A set of technology that serves the product or service in a very short time of ordering.

Some of the live examples of apps are food, transportation, healthcare, delivery, beauty, and the travel industry. Apps that you might be familiar with are; Uber, Soothe, Medicast, Foodpanda, Zomato, etc.

Biometrics: Changing Human Interface

Human verification has become the need of the hour. While biometrics has been the charm of banking and other security concerned industries, it came as a star player in mobile apps a bit later.

Fingerprints, voice recognition, and facial recognition are all part of biometrics verification. They are more prominently found in bank apps and the apps involved in the payment process.

As part of the recent technological development, the OS features of smartphones are also catering fingerprints system and facial recognition.

Let’s make the authentication of crucial apps more secure and reduce the efforts vested in typing security passwords.

AR and VR: A Revolution in the forms of Reality

Source

People believe in the reality that we want to show them. Just before the advent of e-commerce, the reality seemed to be limited in the areas of a physical shop.

But not anymore, the time has come when people come face-to-face with augmented and virtual reality — the two forms of technology that can ve experienced sitting on a Sofa in your house.

Social media apps have already engaged the youth by offering different facial features. All the fun set aside, the business organizations are also building their pioneer on AR and VR.

Fashion designers can charm the audience with the latest trends, not only to see but also try on in virtual reality. Similarly, e-commerce apps also need to sink in VR and offer customers to try on products.

The world sides with Artificial Intelligence

As humankind was not able to reach everywhere, the patrons of technology invented artificial intelligence. Ever since innovation, customers have discovered a better way to communicate with mobile apps.

Discussing the smart assistants of AI, customers interact with virtual assistants like Siri, Cortana, and Google Assistant.

Naming a few other industries, AI has merged with healthcare and manufacturing sectors to step into the future trends of the app, already.

Needless to say, the AR and VR technology are the shine and dime of AI. So, all the benefits coming from 2 forms of reality are part of Artificial intelligence.

Wearables Apps: The Smart Accessories

Source

We were not kidding about the use of mobile phones in day-to-day life. In the past few years, it has been proved that techs can fit anywhere and everywhere.

Smartwatches are among the trending wearables that connect well with fitness and healthcare apps. Thus, while taking a walk in the park, you don’t need to measure your steps anymore, let the smartwatch do the talking.

Smart headsets are also a thing, which allows a wireless setup for experiencing the joy of listening to music and watching videos.

Security is Inevitable

What’s the use of all the tech-driven and high featured apps, when security does not take a step into technology?

The industries are cultivating mobile apps, keeping security as the utmost priority. As a result, encrypted messages, data protection, user privacy are all part of mobile apps.

Moreover, mobile app development companies are also walking on the line of app permissions. With access to only the mandatory data, mobile security seems to have potential growth in 2019 and beyond.

Cloud Storage: A Penetration in Mobile Apps

Mobile apps that stored every piece of data in the storage space of smartphones have been ousted from the race.

No more giving up the field of storage to big apps, as it’s time cloud storage took the burden of all the data. Applications like Dropbox, Evernote, Google notes are all designed for cloud storage.

In a world where people have all such apps, accessing personal and professional data becomes easy and indifferent to time and place.

Into the Future of Mobile Apps……..

The wings of technology will not stop at these trends. Half of 2019 is waiting ahead, you never know which mobile app future trends unleash in remaining months.

Benefits of Green Tea: -

Maybe the water was excessively hot – green tea tastes best when it's prepared with cooler water. In China and Japan, green tea is generally made with boiling water, yet the tea is soaking for anyplace between 15-60 seconds. For best outcomes, we suggest utilizing a lower temperature for a better, non-unpleasant tea.

Interesting Facts About Green Tea: -

The green tea colour isn't constantly green
While it’s right that some green teas, similar to the Japanese sencha, can seem brilliant green after they're prepared, some green teas are meant to look light yellow when brewed accurately. So don’t worry in case your green tea isn't actually green – it isn't meant to be!

Green tea packs or leaves shouldn't be left in the mug or tea kettle.

This returns to our point prior to bitterness – leaving green tea packs or leaves in water for longer than 4-5 minutes will raise the amount of naturally happening chlorophyll from the tea in the water, which will make it incredibly bitter. For best outcomes, let the sack soak in the water for close to 3 minutes.

PRRD Confident Tugade Will Meet November deadline for Sangley Airport

Wazzup Pilipinas!

President Rodrigo Duterte is confident that Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade will meet the November deadline for the augmented operationalization of Sangley Airport in Cavite.

The President expressed this in his speech at the 121st Philippine Navy founding anniversary celebration at Sangley Point, following his inspection of the construction progress of Sangley Airport yesterday, 17 June 2019.

"Art is a worker. He has built beautiful airports all around the country. Arthur was a valedictorian at the College of Law. Magaling talaga 'yan. He will do it with your [Philippine Navy’s] help," President Duterte said.

Aboard a coaster, the President, together with Secretary Tugade, inspected the completed asphalt overlay of the runway, and the ongoing construction of the Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), the improved drainage system, and the hangars.

President Duterte was accompanied at the inspection by Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, Senator-elect Christopher ‘Bong’ Go, AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Benjamin Madrigal Jr., DOTr Usec. for Finance Garry de Guzman, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Jim Sydiongco, and DOTr Asec. for Procurement and Project Implementation Giovanni Lopez.

"Nagpapasalamat tayo sa tiwala ng ating mahal na Pangulo. Hindi natin siya bibiguin o ang ating air-riding passengers. Oras na matapos ang pagtatayo ng mga dagdag na pasilidad dito sa Sangley, makakatulong ito sa pagde-decongest ng NAIA,” Tugade said.

On 13 June 2019, Tugade ordered for the construction of additional facilities at Sangley Airport to be accelerated to 24/7 for the gateway to commence general aviation and turboprop operations by November of this year.

This move is seen as one among several in “a basket of solutions” to help decongest the four terminals of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) which, in recent years, have seen a significant increase in passenger and flight volume.

Tugade, in a meeting with aviation and military officials before the inspection with President Duterte, told project contractor Unimasters Conglomeration, Inc. Managing Director Shann Chan to make good on their word that they will finish all construction before the November deadline.

“Ang sabi natin ay 24/7, hindi 24/6 o ano pa man. Sisiguraduhin nating matatapos natin on time o mas maaga pa sa deadline,” Secretary Tugade emphasized.

DOTr Air Sector Primes Stricter Sanctions for Airport Slot Misuse

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Airline operators at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) are set to face more stringent sanctions for misuse of airport slots.

This comes on the heels of the Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 2019-01, signed by Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Ed Monreal, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Jim Sydiongco and Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla, and noted by Department of Transportation (DOTr) Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports Manuel Antonio Tamayo.

JMC 2019-01 aims for the efficient utilization of airport slots to help decongest the NAIA.

Under the JMC, the definition of slot misuse has been expanded to cover the holding of slots that the airline does not intend to operate, as well as the holding of slots for an operation other than planned for the purpose of denying capacity to another aircraft operator.

Also constituting slot misuse are the requisition of new slots that the airline does not intend to operate, and the requisition of slots for an operation other than indicated with the intention of gaining improved priority.

Under the JMC, the Timeslot Committee (TC) reviews the slot coordinator’s findings of the slot monitoring performance of airlines. The slot coordinator is tasked to initiate any disciplinary action against an airline that intentionally misuses its allocated slots.

Stricter sanctions will be imposed to provide teeth in the implementation of efficient slot utilization.

An airline that operates services without the corresponding timeslots, on a regular basis, will not be entitled to historical precedence for either the actual times they operated or for the allocated times.

Further, an airline that continues to misuse or inefficiently use timeslots may be relegated to a lower priority in future slot allocations.

If an airline, despite being sanctioned, continues to misuse or inefficiently use timeslots, the TC shall have the authority to recall slot approval and/or suspend or cancel slot allocations of the erring airline.

DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade commended MIAA, CAAP and CAB on the issuance of the JMC, noting it is high time for airlines to take responsibility.

“Landing on an airport is a privilege. To intentionally disregard the value of these airport slots is unethical, and an aggravation to the current state of congestion at NAIA. We have to recognize the domino effects of these slot misuses, which ultimately result in the massive inconvenience to our air passengers,” Secretary Tugade stressed.

Recent years saw a substantial increase in the number of passengers, flights, and airport slots per hour at the NAIA, resulting in a compounded state of congestion.

Before 2016, NAIA passenger traffic stood at 36.5 million. The figure swelled to 45 million, or an increase of 8.4 million passengers or 23.08%, by 2018.

During the same period, the number of flights also grew by over 14,000 (5.75%). Consequently, airport slots per hour increased by 22.2% from 36 to 44.

JMC 2019-01 is an expansion of the scope of efficient use of slots under JMC 2016-01 signed by the same agencies in July 2016 to ease airline congestion at the four terminals of NAIA.
