Know Where to Park and which Roads are Closed during BGC Passionfest 2016

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The BGC Passionfest is one of the most anticipated events by BGCitizens and visitors alike. As Bonifacio Global City’s very own fiesta, it brings distinctly Filipino festivities right to the heart of BGC. This is definitely gonna be another crowd-drawing event so better know your way beforehand, especially if you’re bringing the whole squad.

Good thing Bonifacio High Street (BHS), the venue of the BGC Passionfest, is surrounded by parking spaces. Event attendees bringing their vehicles are encouraged to utilize all the parking lots in the city center, including the following areas:

·         BHS Pocket Parking B1-B8
102 slots
6AM - 12MN
·         Gallery Parkade
481 slots
6AM - 10PM

·         One Parkade
406 slots
24 hours
·         28th West (The Fort Strip)
404 slots
6AM - 12MN

·         Two Parkade

·         30th East A

24 hours

·         Three Parkade
1,062 slots
6AM - 12MN
·         30th East B
174 slots

The action is right smack in the center of these parking lots. If you happen to park at Three Parkade on 30th Street, for instance, you can start your adventures with one-of-a-kind eats at The Gourmand Market at C1 Park, Bonifacio High Street Central. But if you’re more into battles of the brains, head to The Fort Strip Parking lot on November 25 at 7PM for the BGC Passionfest Pica Pica Quiz Night: Hugot Lines edition.

Officials would like to remind attendees that BGC rules strictly apply during the event, including its No Street Parking and Pedestrian Priority policies. Moreover, certain streets will be closed, namely, the 9th and 7th Avenues to give way to the festivities. The latter will house the giant Slidefest and the wacky obstacle race area.

For real time information on available parking, you may download the BGC app on your Android or iOS devices. Do note that regular parking fees apply, starting at base rate of P40 for the first few hours, and a minimal fee for succeeding ones. The Passionfest activities run from 11AM to 9 PM so you may want to prepare for extra fees.

“It’s the fifth year of the BGC Passionfest and we’re expecting even more attendees this time around. We’d like to request for everyone’s cooperation so that it will be another pleasant experience for all of us. May we imbibe the true spirit of a Bayanihan Fiesta,” said Joanne Magno, Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation’s City Assistant Marketing Manager.

The BGC Passionfest is an annual event that pays homage to the great plebeian hero Gat Andres Bonifacio. It hopes to inspire deeper appreciation of Filipino culture, arts, and traditions amidst the technological advancements of the times.

For this year, it’s happening on November 25-27 at Bonifacio High Street. Join BGC as it celebrates a weekend of fun, food, and fiesta. Admission is free! More information about the event may be found in the official Facebook account of Bonifacio Global City at www.facebook.com/bonifacioglobalcityph.
