Regus Shared Offices in Makati Site Tour

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Thinkpods - a concept worth looking at by entrepreneurs that are often on the go. These thinkpods are definitely better than working at those noisy coffee shops filled with endless chattering from people of all walks of life. At Regus serviced offices, we get to have the quiet time we need to concentrate and find the inspiration, while being surrounded by like-minded individuals who all realize it's better to hang out at shared offices like Regus!

When other shared offices have shared cubicles, Regus has these interestingly looking, and rather futuristically-designed thinkpods that are convenient enough to sit anybody wanting a little privacy but still keep looking cool.

Shared offices have been a very popular alternative to setting up our own offices. It frees a businessman, especially startups and newbie entrepreneurs, all the other hassles required in running an office. All those logistics and administrative work becomes a thing of the past with the help of shared offices which takes care of all those administrative work. This convenience gives us more time to concentrate on our business rather than having to burden ourselves, or hiring additional staff, to monitor all other business essentials.

True enough, the workforce is continuously evolving into out-of-the-box work stations that are custom fit to answer the needs of the young and millennial entrepreneurs.

Lamudi Philippines and Regus Philippines have teamed up together to organize this site tour and share more information about Regus

Before we begin the Regus Site Tour, there was a short program where representatives from two of the organizers, Regus Philippines and Lamudi Philippines, of the site tour gave a few talks to all bloggers present that day. We also had the opportunity to ask our questions.

Lars Wittig, Regus Philippines Country Manager
Lars Wittig, Regus Philippines Country Manager, and Christopher Watine, Lamudi Philippines Head of Training and Development, were present to give a brief background of both their companies.

I took videos of the talks of the two people mentioned earlier and is hoping you could check them out soon at our YouTube channel at

We were given the opportunity to visit three Regus offices situated in Makati namely the ones at the Enterprise Tower, BPI building and 8 Rockwell. We can see how the designs of the work place evolved since the ambiance at each location has noticeable differences. We were informed that the one at 8 Rockwell is one of the newest office layouts, and more offices are soon to open soon.

I would prefer to work at the third location, 8 Rockwell, since I believe the overall lighting is very conducive to work. The second stop, BPI building was a lot better than the office at the Enterprise Tower but the ambiance is similar to what you see in spas - dimmed lights.

I'm the kind who wants to work in a well-lit room so as not to stress my eyes so much at a darkly lit room.It strains the eyes lesser if the environment is bright enough not to distract from seeing any image or writing.

Shared offices vary in rate depending on many factors like its location (the office with a window view is more expensive than those without windows), the length of tenancy, the number of staff, etc.,

My fellow bloggers and I had lots of fun taking some photo ops and selfies especially at the actual offices where there is a magnificent view of the surrounding areas. The shot above was taken at BPI building, while at the farther end of this blog is the shots taken from

What is common about each site is that they have shared areas like the pantry where you can share a table with fellow tenants of Regus and contains a microwave, coffee maker, etc., and a Honesty fridge where you can freely get some drinks and just add the cost to your monthly rental. The shared offices also have business areas for ring-binding, paper-cutting, photocopying and other office administration requirements. It may be typical to all similar shared offices out there but it still is a big plus to have these tools easily accessible nearby than having to go out of the building and find a shop or store that can do these tasks for us..

Harnessing one’s abilities and recognizing where and how they work best is the key to success in this constantly evolving workplace, he added.

To ensure the quality and reliability of their offerings, Regus conducts regular researches and surveys. One of Regus’ global business surveys has found that 57.3 percent of people in Philippines and 52 percent worldwide now work remotely for at least half their working week. For Filipinos, this can be attributed to various factors like heavy traffic and the availability of modern technology that enable modern-day employees to work from virtually anywhere at any time.

“Owning a property, be it office real estate or any other, can be complicated and it is crucial to recognize the key components of a great office real estate investment to ensure it is indeed a profitable property. This is why serviced offices can be a more cost-effective and flexible office space solution to drive business especially for startups and SMEs,” shared Jacqueline Van Den Ende, Managing Director and CEO of Lamudi Philippines.
