Experience New Zealand 2016 at the Glorietta Activity Center

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Get ready to experience a taste of New Zealand in the Philippines especially this year when New Zealand and the Philippines mark their 50th year of bilateral relations.

The event called Experience New Zealand 2016 will run from May 20-22, 2016 at the Glorietta Activity Center, in the Glorietta Mall, Makati City, and showcases not only the best of New Zealand food and beverage, but also highlights key NZ travel destinations and educational institutions.

Ambassador David Strachan believes that the relationship between our two countries have grown increasingly intimate. The Filipino population in New Zealand offer their warm spirit and work ethic across the length and breadth of New Zealand.

The ambassador adds that the Filipinos living in New Zealand has been the best brand ambassadors since everywhere he goes in the Philippines, many of the people he meets has ties or links with New Zealand and are familiar with what New Zealand has to offer.

They also have a growing number of Filipinos choosing New Zealand as their education destination because of their well-regarded high quality system that welcomes international students.

During our visit at the Experience New Zealand 2016 event, we got to witness a powerful combination of song, dance and chanting during the Kapa Haka performances. That was an amazing cultural performance.
