UP Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs Presents Free Fall

Be free to fall in love this February 12 at the UP Sunken Garden as UP Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs brings you Free Fall, a night of great music from some of the best bands out there. Enjoy good music from Hale, Rivermaya, Brownman Revival, The Ransom Collective, Tanya Markova, Rocksteddy, Cueshe, Barbie Almalbis, Siakol, Save Me Hollywood, joined by special performances from BP Valenzuela, Cheats, Taken by Cars, Rusty Machines, Quarter Moon, Munimuni, Built to Crash, Hug Us We’re Trees, and The Chosen Ones!.

Free Fall is part of the week-long music festival called UP Fair annually organized by UP Diliman to encourage the public to be involved in different advocacy. High profile bands and other up and coming bands will serenade the couples and hopeless romantics alike while promoting the Free Fall’s advocacy which is gender equality.

Join the crowd of thousands of students and young professionals who will be gathering for this grand event. Other exciting activities and surprises are in store for this year’s Free Fall.

The proceeds of Free Fall 2016 will fund the construction of a science library in the remote village of Balabac, Palawan.
UP PSYSC is an organization which caters to the young science enthusiasts from all over the Philippines. The organization aims to promote public understanding of science, technology and environment by creating fun and exciting events and providing service to students of different communities.

  1. Even though I wont be able to attend this event, I can tell that it's really going to be fun and exciting! With famous local bands performing for the event, I'm sure it would be jam-packed! With that being said, feel free to talk to that cute guy next to you, or that girl at your back, make friends, heck! even fall in love if you want to. If socializing isn't your thing then why not just enjoy the music! Well informative article as always.

  2. Since I'm a fan of the university itself, I would really want to attend this annual event but due to our school's hectic schedule, we can't go but since I have friends that will enter UP next school year, I might be able to come.

  3. I thought that University of the Philippines is just a school of nerds and geeks. But with this article, I was informed that Iskos and Iskas are also doing their best to appreciate music. I really would love to go to this event next year.
