Star Wars Reads Day Philippines 2014 is Free and Open to the Public

Got a little Jedi or Sith in the family? Register the youngling for activities at Star Wars Reads Day Philippines 2014!

Celebrate reading and literacy, Star Wars-style! Join us on October 11 for a fun day of arts and crafts, storytelling, stormtroopers and more! This event is FREE and open to the public.
Lots of other awesome stuff lined up for fans of all ages. Exhibits, storytelling, tabletop games, and of course a chance to meet and greet the characters of Star Wars! 

Slots and materials for the arts and crafts station are quite limited, so we recommend you register right away! Just going for the photo ops? You can do that all day, no need to sign up your kid!



Here's our lineup of activities:

1:00 – 6:00 - Registration
1:00 – 1:30 - Photo ops with your favorite Star Wars characters
1:30 – 2:00 - Storytelling Session 1
2:00 – 3:30 - Arts & Crafts Session 1: Make Your Own Droid, Identify the Character, and Yoda Drawing Contest (NOTE: kids need to be registered to join this session)
2:00 – 5:00 - Tabletop game demo by True Blending Gamers: Star Wars the Card Game and X-Wing Miniature Game
3:30 – 4:00 - Storytelling Session 2
4:00 – 5:30 - Arts & Crafts Session 2: Cooperative puzzle, DIY Lightsabers, and Sith Lord drawing contest (NOTE: kids need to be registered to join this session)
4:00 – 6:00 - Photo ops with your favorite Star Wars characters PLUS one epic SABER SELFIE with everyone who brought their lightsabers
4:30 – 6:00 - Announcement of winners, etc.

UPDATE: Online registration will close soon! But don't worry, you can register on October 11 too. Just look for the SWRD registration table in Glorietta 5 Atrium. No need to register if all you want are photos with the troops!
