Zomato Foodie Meetup at Ristorante Bigoli

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Zomato Philippines invited us over at Ristorante Bigoli in Eastwood a few days ago to try out a couple of new pizza flavors of the restaurant... plus a surprise activity that won me some Gift certificates that I still am waiting to be delivered at home.

They have introduced the new pizza flavors almost a month already but this will be the first time they will present it to bloggers.

Zomato has been partnering with great restaurants of the metro (and continuously growing everyday) to add more publicity to promote the mouth-watering delicacies offered at the partner food establishments.

Zomato is an international brand that provides an online portal for foodies to check out restaurant reviews and directory guides. Its one of the most convenient way to be informed of food options in the Metro

Check out the two new pizza flavors : Pizza Tropicale and Pizza Capricciosa - two new Gourmet pizzas from Ristorante Bigoli.

Pizza Tropicale is a meatless all-veggies pizza (that will surely be loved by vegans who want satisfaction minus the guilt) while Pizza Capricciosa is a protein-loaded delight. You'll enjoy both of these new Ristorante Bigoli pizzas available for a very reasonable prize.

The Pizza Tropicale is a fresh mix of vegetables and fruits, Tomato, Mushroom, Onion, Zucchini, Black Olives and pineapple slices on pesto sauce

I remember my first taste of pizza was during the times when there was only two popular pizza joint battling it out against each other. Oh no...you could probably guess my age now... but no matter, I need to accept that I'm not getting any younger.

When other brands came into the country, now the two giant pizza joints were getting stiff competitions from these other foreign brands.

As you can see now, there's so many restaurants that offer pizza, aside from their other main signature dishes.

It is actually an advantage to the consuming public as more competing brands existed, the better the products that came out to satisfy the palate of the customers. Take for example this Pizza Capricciosa - freshly made dough smothered with sauce and cheese generously topped with Mushroom, Black Olives, Zucchini, Sweet Ham, Italian Sausage, Salami Milano and basil leaves.

Ristorante Bigoli's pizzas comes in two shapes and sizes, the traditional circle, and the rectangular shapes. Both provide the same quality pizzas but the circle shaped is approximately three times the weight of the rectangular one.

Chips to start the day right. Not to salty and perfect on the bite.

Now these will become a favorite really soon. The Rolled Pizza Stromboli with beef. Stromboli come in 3 variant, Bacon, Pepperoni and Ultimate Beef (using Kitayama Wagyu Beef).

I've got a feeling we will be drowning ourselves in pasta really soon with the “Tour of Italy”, a sampler plate of Spaghetti Bolognese, Fettucini Alfredo and Lasagna.

Pasta has always been my favorite source of carbs next to rice..regardless of what's mixed on it. The Chicken Pasta Bigoli was superb in taste.

I got to have more of these as my starters.. The breadsticks taste well by themselves that you can eat so much in just one sitting.

The pasta was oh so sweet and spicy..

Steaks taste so good. The tender Arrosto Di Manzo is Wagyu Beef served with mash potato and steamed veggies.

The Italian Chicken was smothered in a special sauce of tomatoes, honey, and Italian spices.

Seems to look like burger steak but better. The Bistecca Macinata is Grilled Kitayama Wagyu Burger Patty topped with cream and sliced mushrooms  served with mixed vegetables.

As a sweet treat to end our meal, they have different flavored popsicle-like ice cream on a stick.

I don't really have much to say but thank you to  Zomato and Ristorante Bigoli for a filling afternoon.
