A Day To Remember: Field Trip

Wazzup Pilipinas!

On February 20, 2014 our school scheduled an educational tour on the following itineraries: Animation Journey, Aguinaldo Shrine and Enchanted Kingdom which is located at Sta Rosa Laguna. I wrote this blog to tell and share my experiences and opinions on this day to those who are interested.

The day before the trip which is on February 19, 2014, our class decided to make a deal. It was agreed upon that whoever comes the last on school will sit on the jump seat. There are still six jump seats available so that means that there will be six people who will suffer to sit in the jump seats which are very uncomfortable unlike the other types of seats that provide both arm and headrests. That's why I woke up on three o'clock on the morning to get ready for the trip.

I arrived on school at exactly four forty-five. Before we left the school, we had a misunderstanding with the class of IV-Lewis which led to a very thick tension inside the bus. Thankfully after some time and jokes from our tourist guide, Kuya Monty, the misunderstanding was forgotten..............

Our first itinerary is on the Animation Journey which is located in Pasay City. The first picture above is my personal favorite, it is the replica of the collection of Terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BC and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife. The second picture is the replica of the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China was built between 220–206 BC also by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. The last picture is the photo of my friends copying the pose of the Egyptians painted on the wall

The second itinerary is on the Aguinaldo Shrine located in Kawit, Cavite where the independence of the Philippines from Spain was declared on June 12, 1898. The first picture above is the map of the Philippines located on the ceiling of the conference room where the meetings of Aguinaldo and other higher officials take place. This view really amazes me, the way it was created was very original and breathtaking. The second picture is the different kinds of shoes worn by Aguinaldo. It surprised me that the features and the design of these shoes is similar to the shoes worn nowadays. There are only few differences. Lastly the third picture is the comfort room inside the Aguinaldo Shrine. I was expecting a well where they fetch the water. So imagine my surprise when I saw a room with a bowl and sink.

The third itinerary is on the Enchanted Kingdom, a theme park located in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. We first went to the Laser Mission, it is an attraction in EK that requires brain and brawn. Your mission is to navigate through a web of lasers until the end of the maze. It's my first time to do this mission so basically I sucked.

Next we went to the Pagpag Horror Attraction. I remember screaming my head off and hiding my face on the back of my friend, Ynah.

And lastly we went to the XPP Xtreme Paintball. This is probably one of my unforgettable moments in my life. I never thought that avoiding paintball and shooting someone could be so much.
