Vacation With a Little Staycation

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Summer is the best time and season to relax and enjoy moments with family, friends, and “barkadas”. This season is in time with school vacation. Summer is a very hot season where everyone enjoyed swimming in beaches and resorts. Some people were bored. Students spent almost of their time in front of the computer during summer. Some just waste a day in sleeping, eating, and watching TV. It is different in my case. I can say it was not boring at all.

I’m guilty in my forth mentioned statement. Most of my days are spent in the computer. Eating, sleeping, watching TV, and everything non-productive I should say.

On first part of my vacation, as a church server, or a sacristan, I served at the Masses. It was like everyday I am so busy. I was like going here to there, night and day. I was almost sleepless on those days. First day was good. It was the Maundy Thursday. My colleagues and I practiced then served at the mass. I got enough rests and sleeps. Then, those days are gone.

My FRIENDS Saved My Boring Days

Wazzup Pilipinas!

My Summer didn't started well. I just stayed inside the house ;watched the television and stared at anything. My vacation started without any plans for the next two months . Until the the time came, when the school distributed the report cards including our allowances.

Actually, before the school year ended, Daniel, I and who ever wants to join had a fun trip, we visited the places that you couldn't imagine we could go to. So, after we have received our allowances for the month of March, Daniel, Jaddie and I decided to enjoy and spend it on SM Mall of Asia. The mall was too big that we didn't manage to see its every corner. We were there from 11 in the morning until 8 in the evening- trying to look at every floors, but it's tiring. Aside from going up and down, we played in the arcade then ate. That day was very significant in my summer.

From that day on, I thought of ways on how could I burn my summer vacation. I was thinking of it every time of the day. During those times, I began to be fond of using Twitter. I believe that Twitter wasted a lot of my time during the vacation but I also believe that it completes my day. This Twitter isn't used on socializing, I used it to take out opinions, feelings, and problems which I can't voice out. Most of the time I used Twitter to talk to myself. However, Twitter is not yet enough to burn those days and that feeling is indeed sucking me.

Once Upon a Summer : Outing Here, Outing There, and Outing Everywhere

Wazzup Pilipinas!

“I can’t wait for summer to come”, that line is what I often say and what I usually hear from the other students for the whole year around. It is the time for relaxation and enjoyment for everyone. I believe that it’s a vital part of every student’s life. It is the chance for everyone to share time with their love ones.

I’m expecting that my summer break will be just typical, but I’m still longing for a meaningful and best summer ever, hoping to escape my mundane world behind for exotic adventures. I take pictures of every memorable place I stayed.
Outing here, outing there, and outing everywhere. We visited a nice resort in Binangonan, Rizal and I was able to capture a nice scene of sunset. Well, by the power of edit it turns out to be more beautiful. I enjoy spending at the resort with my family.

I also had plans with my friends. We visit a clubhouse in Cainta. We really enjoy our free time together because most of the time that we spent with each other was so busy doing our school requirements. I felt so out-of-place while seeing them floating and swimming, because I don’t know how to. I don’t know how to conquer my fear but I enjoy most of the time while chatting, playing and eating with them.

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The sequel to last year's highly successful Bigas Hackathon- is an event for hacktivists and programming aficionados who are willing to use their much-in-demand skills to benefit the world. IRRI's hackathons bring together young IT whizzes to spend two days.

The next big tech push for rice is slated to come on 31 August-1 September 2013 as the International Rice Research Institute gears up for the Bigas2 Hack—the sequel to last year's hugely successful BigAs Hackathon—an event for developers and programming aficionados who are willing to use their highly sought skills to benefit the world.

IRRI’s hackathons bring together young IT whizzes to spend two days developing an IT-based solution to a rice research problem. Last year’s event involved 57 developers from the Philippines. This year, the plan is to engage more people from the Philippines and beyond.

Bigas2 Hack is co-organized by Smart Communications, Inc. and Smart DevNet.

PhilRobotics, the winning team in 2012, came up with Envilog, a portable device that can take readings of temperature, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, amount of sunlight, atmospheric pressure, humidity, and water height in rice fields.

Bigas2 Hack comes as part of the list of activities lined-up by IRRI towards rice sector development and in celebrating 2013 as the National Year of Rice.

This year's hackathon will formally allow interested participants to incubate their ideas longer, and then take it even further by developing prototypes.

She deserves it this year if i may say. Not a fan, but you gotta hand it to her, she really worked her ass out to get that body. Congrats, Marian.

The candidates were all deserving.

Angel has really nice curves, Sam is gorgeous but she's skinny. While Marian has bigger junks, more proportioned body which makes her the sexiest of all.

Summer Starts in the Pool and Ends in the Pool

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Summer vacation is a time for many people, especially students and employees, to relax, have fun and just enjoy life. But summer has two faces; some do have their happiest and unforgettable experiences but some consider their summer days just like a regular day with nothing to do.

My summer vacation starts when Cavendish, my section when I was in third year, decided to have our outing last March in a clubhouse. Though only few of us attended, we still had fun and enjoy the whole day swimming and playing in the pool.

Pro-Life Stops Once The Life Comes Out of the Womb?

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I want to share this to my readers of whom some may be the so called "pro-lifers" - those that support a pro-life advocacy thus they fight against the RH Bill with defenses that clings to religion and respect for the life of the unborn.

This was posted in Tumblr and the statement has a good point. Something to think about.

"You want to be pro-life?

Start with the kids already born. Start with the low-income families. Start with raising the minimum wage and start with comprehensive sex education. Start with doing away with abstinence-only education and do away with punishing people with uteruses for having sex.

You want to be pro-life?

Start supporting people living a life they can be happy with, a life their family can be safe and happy and provided for."

Illuminati : The Secret Society of Conspiracies

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Oh my, Illuminaughty! They're all around us. Secret conspiracies are everywhere, and where can you find the only truth?

Illuminati is
the name assumed by the members of a secret society founded by Adam Weishaupt in 1776. The word Illuminati  is the plural of Latin illuminatus meaning "enlightened" and is a name given to several groups, both real and fictitious,  that has become synonymous with the one world conspiracy.

Historically the name refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society to oppose superstition, prejudice, religious influence over public life, abuses of state power, and to support women's education and gender equality.

The Illuminati were outlawed along with other secret societies by the Bavarian government leadership with the encouragement of the Roman Catholic Church, and permanently disbanded. In the several years following, the group was vilified by conservative and religious critics who claimed they had regrouped and were responsible for the French Revolution.

Rico Blanco Takes Galactik Fiestamatik To First Major Solo Concert

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Fiesto Bandido—that musical wizard more popularly known as singer/songwriter/showman Rico Blanco—has pulled it off once again.

On Philippine Independence Day, June 12, 2013, Rico made history as he held his first solo concert dubbed “Rico Blanco LIVE!” at the Music Museum. The event was sold out by the week it was held as his fans, friends, and supporters trooped to the venue to witness what was promised to be a highly visual out-of-this-world journey through Rico Blanco's musical career. This wasn't just your standard concert; it was a show in every sense of the word.

Ever since the artist introduced the feather-and-chrome-clad persona of “Fiesto Bandido” for his newest album “Galactik Fiestamatik,” Rico Blanco's fans all over the country have been treated to a dose of the spectacle that has become the trademark for the musical chameleon's current persona. What with all the ati-atihan-inspired attire, the beats, the tribal dancing reminiscent of town fiestas (assuming fiestas are held in space), and the colorful light show that accompanies the music beat by beat.

Bloggers Who Write or Just Copy and Paste Press Releases

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Are you among those media people, not necessarily just the bloggers, that write about the event they've just attended or are you one of those that just settle for a copy-pasted article?

There was this little discussion that got my attention and has somewhat strike a nerve. I am posting this to get comments as I am also somewhat guilty of that dirty habit of copy-pasting press releases as a shortcut method for my blogging whenever I find myself too busy or lazy to "WRITE".

This also happens if I find the event too boring or less interesting and not worthy of an elaborate story. Most of the time I put the press release as part of the blog inserted among my own personal statements. It might be an insult if I don't include the info within the press release. But I do agree that it might be a bigger insult if we don't write about the event using our own words.

New Memories of Another Awesome Summer

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Last month April, my friend and I took an UPCAT Review somewhere in Quezon City. That was my first time to commute going to Quezon City, because usually I go to Quezon City with my parents and we often use our own car to go there. It was a sudden change of my routine during summer because usually when it is summer my family and I go to our province or to different places in Philippines.

At first, I was excited when I heard about having summer review for UP but it changed when my mother and my two siblings were scheduled to go on vacation in Bicol. I was very disappointed because I should have gone with them but my schedule for the summer review starts on the day of their flight. Even though I’m not with them I enjoyed my summer because of the exciting trips.

Nasugbu, Batangas : Blessed with Awesome Beaches

Wazzup Pilipinas!

All of us love summer, it's the most relaxing part of the year where we can do whatever we want. We can forget everything that has stressed us and we can go anywhere, anytime. We feel almost perfect as the sun shines, the breeze blows and the ocean sings. And of course we can really enjoy it when we are with our family or friends.

Last summer my family and I went to Nasugbu, Batangas.  They decided for us to go and have a break there because it's near the place where my father works. It's  an almost-paradise place and the view was really breath-taking.

Nasugbu is bounded on the north by the municipalities of Maragondon, Magallanes and Alfonso of the province of Cavite; on the east by the Batangas municipalities of Laurel, Calaca and Balayan; on the south by the Batangas municipalities of Lian and Tuy;  and on the west by the South China Sea.

San Juan 2013 Wattah Wattah Fiesta : Harmless Fun or Anarchic Thuggery?

Wazzup Pilipinas!

San Juan City is the smallest city in the heart of Metro Manila. It is among the smallest political subdivisions. They celebrate the feast of St. John the Baptist by throwing water to each other, and to the rest of the passer-bys going through their city enroute to another destination. The tradition is meant to replicate the baptism done in water by St. John the Baptist according to the Bible.

The fiesta was only christened Wattah Wattah in 2001, when it was under then Mayor and now Senator Elect JV Ejercito. The fiesta even has its own jingle now that goes like this: “Wattah wattah kay San Juan Bautista halina tayo ay magsaya, Wattah Wattah kay San Juan Buatista magdiwang tayo para sa kanya.” In 2006, the Department of Tourism recognized the Wattah! Wattah! Basaan Festival as one of the most celebrated fiestas in the country.

Many try to avoid passing through the city during the fiesta, but to those who have no choice suffer the consequence of getting wet involuntarily. Not my way of having fun.

University of the Philippines College Admission Test or UPCAT Explained

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Last summer vacation, I had the UPCAT review with my friends. The University of the Philippines College Admission Test, or more commonly known as UPCAT, is part of the admission requirements of the University of the Philippines, administered to graduates of Philippine and foreign high schools.

  2. A graduate of any secondary school that is accredited by the Department of Education, or of any secondary school found abroad; or
  3. Any individual that has been declared eligible to enter college according to the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) results.

My Husband's Lover Strikes a Religious Nerve

Wazzup Pilipinas!

"The GMA 7 program “My Husband's Lover” has prompted the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines' Episcopal Commission on Youth to call on television producers and writers to be more discerning in the themes used in shows, especially if the program's topic deals with public morals and values.

Now on its third week of airing, “My Husband's Lover” deals with a homosexual-extramarital affair."

I don't really think there is something wrong with the soap opera. Some of my friends watch it every night and in their humble opinions they say the show is tastefully and carefully done. To be honest, I feel like the producers and the writers are kind of holding back because maybe they are taking religious and moral values in consideration. What's the plug of MTRCB about "PG" and "SPG" prior to the airing of every show and in between is for? Display? Of course there is a purpose, right? The time slot of the show is also too late that for sure many of the kids are already sleeping. It's the responsibility of the parents to guide their kids if in case they allow them to stay awake late at night. Though I have nothing against the church, I think they're just over-reacting.

The CBCP should try watching before they judge prematurely. I bet even the Catholic priests didn't find time to watch before reacting. The show has plenty of stories to tell that are worth taking into consideration as life's lessons.

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Laptop models have continuously adapted with the changing times and the demand for more durable and high performing mobile devices has continuously risen next to tablets and smartphones.

Many manufacturers have been challenging themselves to create and design the most featured laptop possible to satisfy the needs of the consumers. Be it corporate requirements or retail selling off the shelves laptops, everyone deserves value for their money and budget.

So what can you say about a laptop that's so durable that you can step and jump on it just to test if its durable enough to withstand the weight and shock? or how about one that you can use as a chopping board? It is also said to be water-proof among other features worth looking into and proving by yourself.

AOC Launches the New Breeze Tablets For Mobile Computing

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I knew many will eventually follow the trending gadget craze that has swept the nation as strong as the previous storms that flooded the Metro.

I was right when I said to myself that almost all tech companies will tap the growing market and demand for mobile computing tablets.

At a product launch held at the Holiday Inn hotel in Makati last June 25, 2013, the worldwide leader in display manufacturing just introduced to the media the availability of 7 and 8 inches tablets carrying the name Breeze.

AOC was proud to present the new Breeze tablets that will make mobile computing truly a breeze because the said tablets are fast, flexible and powered by the latest Android Jelly Bean operating system. The two incarnations of the Breeze model, MW0731+ and Breeze MW0831, are just two of the many models that will soon come out in the market.

Zendee to Represent the Philippines in Singapore as YouTube Discoveries

Wazzup Pilipinas!

YouTube has done wonders for many of our talented perfromers especially for the ones who were actually discovered and made popular because of their videos appearing on the social media video site.

Many were aspiring singers whose talents were more recognized and appreciated when they appeared on YouTube. The site has really made a lot of stars and a lot more hopefuls that maybe someday they will be given a break as well and get invited to talk shows of Oprah and Ellen.

Singapore’s top communications company Star Hub presents “Under the Stars: From Online to a Live Stage” a stellar concert with a great line-up of international and local talents that have successfully gained a following on YouTube.

Featured line-up of artists include Tanner Patrick (USA), Madilyn Bailey (USA), Nate Tao (USA), The 38 Years Ago (Thailand), The Sam Willows (Singapore) and our very own Zendee as the final act.

Philippines Reborn for a Better Tomorrow

Wazzup Pilipinas!

This is a statement coming from a Facebook friend which gave me sort of some shivers within. Not because its a dreaded wishful thinking of a hopeful citizen of the country but because of the admirable vision she wishes to impart to others though I feel its not really a priority of many who are only doing advocacy and charity work for show.

It is quite a challenge to motivate people if they see nothing to gain from the effort.

Every action has its ulterior motive, whether they admit it or not. It should be admitted and not denied because everyone wants something in return.

Read on and as she said "keep the dream alive!"

Epson Announces Investment in New Production Lines For Next Generation Print Heads

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Seiko Epson Corporation announced that it has invested approximately about 16 billion yen in two production lines in Japan.

The lines have been constructed to manufacture next-generation print heads – the core component in inkjet printers – for use in business and industrial printing systems to come to market in the latter part of the 2013 fiscal year.

This capital investment, made over three years from fiscal 2011, has been made to build new production lines that contain a host of original Epson manufacturing technologies. These new lines will be located in Epson’s Suwa-Minami Plant in Nagano Prefecture and the Sakata Plant in Yamagata Prefecture. Production demands a high level of technical skill, and Epson was required to bring to bear its many years of accumulated expertise in monozukuri – the art and science of manufacturing – to make the production lines a reality.

Ateneo De Manila University : Proud to be Somewhat Atenista Even for a While

Wazzup Pilipinas!

A month and a few days has passed already when we first started with our review class. At first you’ll think “I think I want to go home, maybe they’ll eat and I’m scared” or “I’m excited to meet new friends!” Any of the two, we knew it’s going to be a new beginning towards a new chapter in our life and in our future. In our future because its a new opportunity for every one of us in this world. But before that, a new memory will be added to our memory bank. These memories will make us smile when we think of them again.

I’ve experienced to be somewhat an "Atenista". I was not a student there but a student who had an opportunity to enter the campus of Ateneo. I’m a 4th year high school student who had a chance to enter Ateneo for review classes. Eventhough it was just a short period of time, it’s enough to observe what life of a college student could be.

The Ateneo de Manila University is one of the best universities in the Philippines. When you hear the word Ateneo, the first thing that comes to your mind are rich, intelligent and popularly known personalities in society. But there’s a lot of ordinary students in there that are not known but can still be considered a student to be proud of. There we’re also scholars student like me who needed help from the government or sponsoring institutions.

The Youth for the King (Y4K) Sports Fest : Spells Really FUN

Wazzup Pilipinas!

There was nothing really special that happened this year if it will be compared to my summer vacation last year. There were only a few things I did outdoors. I spent almost all my time inside our house not counting the weekends because I go to our church every Saturday night and Sunday morning, which I do regularly even if it is not Summer Vacation. So you can see that there’s no remarkable difference between my summer days and school days.

What did we do during weekdays this summer vacation? Wake up late and Sleep late. Clean the whole house EVERY SINGLE DAY. Eat anytime we want. Watch Movies, Korean Dramas, and TV Shows. Surf the net as soon as we wake up. Study a little. This became our daily routine.

Well, of course, I also did some things worth of my time, things that I can say useful and somewhat memorable.

Jose and Wally Sponsors Night Held at the Raw Matters Cafe

Black Canyon Coffee: Not Your Typical Coffee Shop

Wazzup Pilipinas!

A while back a lot of people began complaining that coffee houses have become nothing but places to be seen at.

In 1993, the people behind Black Canyon (Thailand) Co. Ltd. decided to change that.  They developed Black Canyon Coffee, a Thai specialty coffee and International Thai menu restaurant.  Today, the internationally Renown Black Canyon Coffee Restaurant is to be found in several countries, including the Philippines.

In fact, just last June 15, 2013, Black Canyon Coffee Restaurant (BCC) held the grand opening of its second branch in the Philippines.  It was a momentous event, was graced by none other than Mr. Pravit Chitnarapong, Founder and CEO of Black Canyon Thailand Co., Ltd.

PETRONAS Proudly Presents Liquid and Metal in Action

Wazzup Pilipinas!

A few nights ago, I attended an event organized by a wholly owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the well-known national oil company of Malaysia famous for being one of the top oil and gas company and also for its magnificent PETRONAS towers.

Luckily I arrived early at the event before the heavy rains and strong winds decided to drop by for a visit and got the entire exhibit open area soaked wet. The cars and motorcycles really got a heavy dose of rainwater. The band playing outside was very admirable as they tried to finish the song they were playing before deciding to cut the performance short due to the bad weather. Most of us just went inside to wait for the main event. After probably more or less than an hour, the storm settled down and everyone had the chance to see the exhibit again.

Rain or shine, the event had to go on. No bad weather is going to stop the event from pushing through.

144 Hours of Summer

Wazzup Pilipinas!

“Summertime is always the best of what might be.” – said the popular American author, Charles Bowden.

I definitely agreed with him. Summer is the time for relaxation and recreation and at the same time it is the time where people make the most out of their lives. As much as I didn’t actually fulfill what I wanted for my summer to be as I just lazed around for most of the time in the house. I still enjoyed it. I guessed for the reason that I was with my friends. Now here goes my 144 hours (6 days) of summer – the best 144 hours of my life! Not even kidding…

Some of my classmates wanted to review for the UPCAT so at the last period of our class that day we chatted if we wanted to just have the review in our school or we wanted to try other review centers. So we all agreed to the latter.

Cheapest Way to Buy from the US and Ship to the Philippines

Wazzup Pilipinas!

What is the cheapest way to buy a product from the US and ship it to the Philippines?

I'm reposting this lengthy but highly useful information shared by RJ David of Sulit.

He says he is sharing this because "the more brand new items that you own, the more 2nd hand items that you will need to sell, the more benefit to Sulit (Ang hindi na ginagamit, Ibenta Mo Na!). And in the future, you would also sell that brand new item that you bought as 2nd hand item which would be a rare item locally and thus adding more value to Sulit".

Pugad Baboy Gets Axed For Saint Scholastica and Tongril

Wazzup Pilipinas!

"Asan na nga ba ang freedom of expression natin? Nasa libro na lang ba?" I can't believe that after all the other strips where Pol Medina pokes fun/criticizes the Church, government, and other institutions this is the strip that gets him axed. Everything is fair game except for all-girls Catholic schools huh?

Pugad Baboy was a Hot Trending Topic when the Philippine Daily Inquirer deleted the controversial comic strip and cancelled its publication.
ConsPIGracy! Eto ang pahayag ng "Pugad Baboy" creator na si Pol Medina ukol sa pagkakatanggal nya sa Philippine Daily Inquirer matapos ang kontrobersyal nyang comic strip. Tingin nyo dapat ba syang natanggal?

The Voice Philippines is a Judges or Coaches Exag Talent Show

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Wala lang,....natawa lang ako sa comment na ito about sa isang TV reality talent show sa ABS-CBN.

"Naimbiyerna na ako sa mga pilit ang pag-promote sa The Voice, Philippines - yung show na ang mga judges/coaches ay sila Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo at Apol of Black-Eyed Peas.

The judges seem to be the KSP stars of the show and NOT the contestants.

Lahat na ba talaga ng talent contest ay kailangang lagyan ng drama at paawa effect on the sides?

It's the most exaggerated set of judges I've ever seen. Sobrang OA to the max.

Same Sex Marriage: Is it Really a Sin or Should We Already Accept It?

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Yahoo News Philippines reports that Filipino lesbian couples were able to tie the knot during a same-sex wedding ceremony in Quezon City. Six lesbian couples were married officiated by The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Straight Christian Church, a lesbian gay bi-sexual and transgender community church. Reports state that same-sex marriage is not legally recognized under the Philippine law.

Matrimonial law may have been changed over the years, but the law has never fundamentally been altered the essential nature and essence of marriage. It is life-long commitment and a bond between man and a woman and not man and a man or woman and a woman.

Many are saying homosexuality is still a BIG SIN. Even if you create a church of your own, it will never be pleasing in the eyes of God. It's self-will, disobedience and pride of man that still persist. Sodom and Gomorrah were also marrying gays and lesbians at that time.

Tobacco and Alcohol : More Fatal Than Marijuana

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The conception of marijuana as a potentially fatal, highly addictive narcotic, on which much of last century’s anti-weed propaganda was built, has been disproved by science, which has shown that it’s almost literally impossible for humans to consume enough THC to overdose.

In fact, dying from drinking too much water would be far easier.
"To say that marijuana has been given a bad rap over the past few decades is an understatement. You have been led to believe that marijuana is a dangerous and addictive drug that has destroyed the lives of millions of teens and adults. You have been encouraged to believe that marijuana causes lung cancer and is a “gateway” to harder drugs. The government has even tried to convince you that most people who use marijuana are losers who sit around on couches all day doing nothing."

Marijuana is a plant containing a psychoactive chemical, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), in its leaves, buds and flowers. Marijuana is the most commonly used illicit drug, with forty-two percent of American adults reporting that they have used it.
Despite the fact that marijuana's effects are less harmful than those of most other drugs, including alcohol and tobacco, it is the most common drug that people are arrested for possessing.

Disney Cartoons : The Shittiest Lies Ever Made

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The discussion below is an interesting idea. And I agree, for the most part. But, in a way, it kind of illustrates a portion of my problem with a lot of Disney movies.

I want (male or female) children to slay dragons, exchange immortality, wish the genie free, and challenge powers that be... because it's the right thing to do. I want kids to learn that you help people because people need your help. Not just because you really like the person you're helping.

Read on below and enjoy, and please share your thoughts.

Naked Girl Protests in Brazil

Wazzup Pilipinas!

What you see above is a naked girl with only her head covered.
Her natural nude body represent the beauty of the land of Brazil, tangled with bar wire representing the strong hand of the government causing the body to bleed.

She is in protests against the Nascituro (unborn child) Project, in BRAZIL. Government, supported by the right wing and religious parties, propose the compulsory registration of every pregnancy.

Intense protests are taking place by feminist and human rights groups. This law, if approved, is UNconstitutional, violates women's right to privacy and threatens their already limited reproductive rights.
Yes she does need to be naked just precisely to prove a point. Nobody owns our bodies, nobody but us, nobody has the right to cast judgment on what is our body.

Remar
ks about being decent - Oh my goodness what era do we belong to? Get a grip, there is nothing shameful about the human body, there is everything shameful about dogma and ideology that seeks to punish people for being people. The human body is not a sin. How people treat others sometimes is the only shame. Love and let be.

Infinite Mania : Ranking King and Sesame Player

Wazzup Pilipinas!

S-U-M-M-E-R? This is the season most of us, looking forward to. No homework, no projects, no requirements or should I say no school works at all. This is the time where we can relax and free ourselves from those stress that ruining our happiness. And it is the time where we can do things that we can’t, during school days.

Last vacation, a week after the class ended, was my birthday. Too bad, it was Good Friday. We didn’t prepare any because it’s holy week and people should go fasting. But unexpectedly, my aunt, uncle and my cousins went to our house. We were so surprised. We just ate lunch together as a celebration for my birthday.

Then they planned to have an outing for my sister’s debut, I was so excited that time but it was postponed. It was because of my mom’s schedule, she was not available for the time slot given by the operator of that resort near in Antipolo. So we didn’t have a choice, that’s why. I felt disappointed even though I’m not the debutant.
